This guide contains the easiest money-making methods in Old School Runescape. The easiest and quickest way to get gold is by buying OSRS gold at Rpgstash, but if you want to farm yourself, here are your opportunities:
1. Buying Monkey Nuts
This method has the best gp rate out of any method that is listed here, but it has a grandmaster quest requirement.

- Monkey Madness 2
- Full Graceful
- Stamina potions
- 50k starting gold
After completing the Money Madness 2 quest, you gain access to a shop called “Solihib’s Food Stall.” From this stall, you can buy money nuts which cost between 3-14gp each. There is a bank nearby the shop, so you can buy out the stock and hop worlds pretty easily. This method will get you:

2. Collecting Mort Myre Fungi
This is a very ancient method of money-making, but it is still relevant. This method is pretty profitable due to the fact that the fungi are used in making super energy potions.
Requirements
- Priest in Peril
- Nature Spirit ( partially )
- Fairytale 2 – Cure a Queen ( partially )
- Desert Treasure ( optional )
- A decent prayer level is recommended, as this method constantly drains your prayer.
- Silver Sickle (b)
- Dramen or Lunar staff for banking
- Hard Morytania Diary ( Highly recommended as it doubles your profit )
- A POH that has a Kharyrll Portal, a chapel or pool to restore prayer, and a fairy ring.
To do this method, you will need to find a spot that has 3 logs. Stand in the middle of the logs and cast bloom, then pick up your mort myre fungus. There is a spot where there are 4 logs that you can stand in the middle of, but the best for that gets unlocked after the “A Taste of Hope” quest.
For the 3-log location, use the fairy ring code b.k.r and run west to three logs. Stand in the middle and cast bloom.
For the 4-log method, use an ectophial or fairy ring code a.l.q and run south. Cast bloom while standing in the middle of the 4 logs.
For the best method, you will need the complete the quest “A Taste of Hope.” With this method, you can choose not to use your POH, but using it will yield better results. You will be using your Drakan’s medallion to teleport to Ver Sinhaza. Once there, run northeast through the opening to quickly reach the spot. The medallion can be used for banking as well. Combining this method with your POH will eliminate the need for prayer potion usage, and you will be able to gather 1.500 fungi per hour which translates to:

3. Looting Ogre Coffins
The only hard requirement of this method is to be able to start the “Zogre Flesh Eaters” quest. There are a few recommended items:
- Full Graceful outfit
- A high agility level
- Stamina potions
- Rings of dueling
- Some starting cash to buy ogre coffin keys
For this method, run to Jiggig with your ogre coffin keys. There is a safe spot between the northern and central coffins that allows coffins to be opened without being attacked. You can open around 631 ogre coffins if you buy the keys from the G.E.

4. Collecting Blue Dragon Scales
This is another very ancient method of money-making.
Requirements
- 70 Agility ( recommended )
- 37 Magic ( recommended )
- Full graceful ( recommended )
- Anti-dragon shield
- Falador teleports
- Stamina potions
- Food if you are a low level
- Dusty key if you don’t have 70 agility
You will start at Falador and run to the Taverley dungeon. If you have the agility level, you can use the shortcut at the start to immediately reach your destination. If not, you will have to run there using your dusty key. Once there, collect a full inventory of blue dragon scales that spawn on the ground and teleport back to Falador to repeat.

5. Supply-Running in Skeletal Wyvern Cavern
This method involves player interaction, and the gp per hour can be very volatile. Teleport requirements are optional, as in you can choose whatever teleport method best suits you. Also, some items can vary depending on your clients’ needs.

- Full graceful
- Amulet of glory/Ring of wealth or Varrock teleports
- Ancient/Elemental/Mind or Dragonfire shield
- Dramen or Lunar staff if using fairy rings
- House teleports if POH is set in Rimmington ( not using fairy rings )
- Around 500K starting cash
- Some food ( 4 – 8 sharks )
- 4 – 5 ( Divine ) Ranging potions
- Stamina potion
- Broad bolts
- Rune Pouch
- Herb sack (optional)
For this method, you will need to talk and have an agreement with players that are constantly camping the skeletal wyverns. This is best done in clans as it is easier to communicate with people. You can also just head over there and add people killing the wyverns and ask them if they need a runner. Essentially your job is to bring supplies to these players and buy off their drops for low prices. You can decide the price range between yourself and the player, but a general rule of thumb is to buy everything for half the price and sell for double, with the exception of broad bolts and dragon equipment. It is best to check prices constantly if you are doing this method.
