
South Korean multinational technology conglomerate Samsung has just recently concluded its Consumer Electronics Show or CES 2023 event. It has revealed the new products launching soon and discussed new innovations.
The multinational company also shared its goal during the event, which is “bringing calm to our connected world,” as it announced its newest product lineup.
Vice-chairman, CEO, and Head of the Device Experience Division Jong-Hee Han began the keynote by highlighting Samsung’s strategy.
He said, “We recognize our vision is a big one… But we are committed to achieving it and already getting started.”

New products were unveiled during CES 2023, and one of these is the LG Signature OLED M3, which has the capability to connect wirelessly to audio and video accessories. It is a wireless solution, but still, users will need to plug it into a power outlet.
Meanwhile, Jasper Vervoort, senior vice-president and general manager at Philips Hue, shared more connectivity features for Samsung TVs.
He talked about the Philips Hue Sync TV app that synchronizes Samsung TV content with Philips Hue lighting. The company stated this is the first sync lighting solution from Samsung TV that does not need any additional equipment.
Furthermore, this year, specific Samsung Neo QLED 8K and 4K TVs are also bound to gain Relumino Mode. It highlights outlines and enhances contrast to improve picture quality.
The event also featured the Relumino glasses that have the power to personalize the visual experience on each screen.
Also, during the keynote, the SmartThings Station was discussed, and it is the first Samsung product to have built-in support for smart home standard Matter. It turns Samsung’s wireless charger into a smart home hub, letting users shift their home with a single button.
Additionally, Samsung also touched on the potential security and privacy issues from connecting more devices, which is why it came up with Samsung Knox Matrix. This saves sync credentials across various devices and secures them through private block technology.
The company also went further by unveiling innovations to keep drivers safe on the road. Marcus Futterlieb from HARMAN talked about the HARMAN Ready Care, an innovation that will use machine learning algorithms to measure drivers’ drowsiness and distraction, thereby helping motorists regain their focus while driving.
Aside from these new products, another key highlight of the CES 2023 was Samsung revealing plans to combat environmental degradation by introducing sustainable features to their offerings.
