Fortnite appears to have partnered with virtually every big company on the market these days. The creators have created skins for nearly every event, ranging from Star Wars to the NFL and almost anything in between. The renowned battle royale game has announced another collaboration with Marvel.
The creators revealed that Shang-Chi had been introduced to the game via a post from the official Fortnite Twitter account. This crossover is timed to coincide with the premiere of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and is intended to help promote the film.
The character will be available as part of the Shang-Chi package from Epic Games. The Shang-Chi Outfit, Great Protector’s Shield Back Bling, Blades of the Brother Hand Pickaxes, and Dragon’s Scale Wrap are all part of this set. The package is presently available for purchase in the Item Shop, allowing players to begin playing as the Marvel hero right away.
Shang-Chi joins a long list of Marvel characters who have appeared in Fortnite. While many fans will undoubtedly welcome the inclusion of this new skin, it shouldn’t come as a surprise at this time. Fortnite has introduced new superheroes to the game that are based on characters from several Marvel films. Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow are just a handful of the other prominent heroes from the franchise available in the game.
Aside from this new Marvel skin, a number of additional costumes have also been added to the game. In the Chapter 2 Season 7 Battle Pass, players were able to acquire a number of skins, including Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty and Superman from DC Comics.
The Ariana Grande skin was just added to the game as part of the Rift Tour event. Furthermore, when a Fortnite leaker indicated that a Batman crossover event is coming soon, the game appears to be getting more skins based on superheroes.

While gamers may now play as Shang-Chi in Fortnite, the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is now showing in cinemas. The film is Marvel’s second release set during the pandemic, and it continues Phase 4 of the franchise. The film will be available on Disney Plus on October 18, in addition to its theatrical premiere.
The Shang-Chi costume is the most current Epic Games and Marvel collaboration, indicating that the two businesses’ cooperation is still going strong. With the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home in cinemas on December 17, new skins from the superhero franchise appear to be on the way.
