Star Wars Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call Launch Date Announced

The next installment of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge has been officially revealed, and fans won’t have to wait long for their next Star Wars adventure. The last chapter in the ILMxLAB-developed series, Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call, will push players to new heights with new missions, Tales, and characters.

The player assumes the role of a droid repair mechanic working near the Outer Rim in Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge. Following a crash landing on Batuu, the player must band together and battle with characters from the Star Wars film franchise, including R2-D2 and C-3PO, in order to defeat the Guavian Death Gang and its commander Tara Rashin. The VR-only Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge was published in 2020, and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call will bring the tale to a finish.

ILMxLAB has announced the news with an action-packed teaser, revealing that Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call will be released in only a few days, on September 15th. The game will be available as a solo purchase for $9.99 on Oculus Quest or as part of a $34.99 package with the rest of Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge.

The plot of Last Call will see the player searching for an ancient relic that Dok-Ondar requires. Sardeevem Chasm and the Cavern of the Moons will be presented as new places for the player to explore, solve riddles, and fight pirates in. Lens Kamo, Hondo, and Mubo are among the allies who will assist the player on their journey, while R2-D2 and C-3PO will also appear in the upcoming Tales from the Galaxy.

The game will feature an impressive line-up of voice talent, including Jim Cummings as Hondo Ohnaka, Anika Noni Rose as Neeva, Daman Mills as Lt. Gauge, Darin DePaul as Boggs Triff, and Rhys Darby as assassin droid IG-88, as seen in the new Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call trailer.

Fans have praised Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call for its plot and aesthetics, with one remark on the YouTube video praising the title for appearing more like a complete release rather than a sequel to an existing game.

The new Star Wars gameplay teaser teases what appears to be another blockbuster in the Star Wars video game franchise. Fans have lauded Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, and it has rapidly become a must-play game for Oculus Quest users. When Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Last Call arrives later this month, it’s hoped to be equally as successful.
