Out of all “Star Wars” shows that have streamed on Disney+, “The Book of Boba Fett” is regarded as the most hotly debated. This miniseries and spin-off from “The Mandalorian” chronicles the escapades of Boba Fett, a legendary bounty hunter.

As Fett and Fennec Shand, a mercenary, make their way back to the hot desert planet Tatooine, they fend off enemies in the hopes of reclaiming the territory once controlled by Jabba the Hutt, who, in the story, is one of the most powerful gangsters in the galaxy. “The Book of Boba Fett” was originally released in 2021.

Despite this promising plot, even some avid fans of “Star Wars” were turned off by this miniseries. Mainly, they did not like the storytelling’s muddy tone and ambiguity. While a second season may be possible, it seems that fans are perfectly alright even without this. However, one of the show’s biggest stars is pushing for more episodes for a brand-new season to be in the works.

In one of the recent episodes of “The Sackhoff Show” on YouTube, “The Book of Boba Fett” star Ming-Na Wen expressed enthusiasm for a new season of the miniseries to be developed and produced.

Ming-Na Wen portrayed Shand. “The Sackhoff Show” is presented on the video-sharing platform and hosted by actress Katee Sackhoff.

There, Ming-Na Wen said, “I think the fans and [Temuera Morrison] and I, we should all do ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ Season 2. I think there’s a lot more stories to be told and it hasn’t really quite finished and evolved and there’s more so hopefully – I hope.”

The actress seems not to be sharing the same views as the others who saw the first and sole season so far of “The Book of Boba Fett.”

Nonetheless, the season finale of the miniseries did record-breaking numbers for “Star Wars” on Disney+. No matter how huge the influence of Ming-Na Wen is, there is still no official announcement for a brand-new season. But if Disney sees the good side of it, it might actually give the iconic and original Mandalorian bounty hunter another shot.
