The Craob X is a 7mm thick ultrabook that has no ports.

We enjoy a slim and light laptop here at PvPLive.net. Craob’s new approach, on the other hand, maybe going a little too far.

It’s called the Craob X, and it claims to be the world’s thinnest laptop at just 7mm thick. The problem is that the device must be completely devoid of ports in order to be that thin.

It achieves an indisputably sleek and minimalist design, and at 1.9 pounds, it won’t be a burden in your backpack. The Craob X relies on a wireless magnetic charging puck that attaches to the back of the screen to charge.

Craob has cleverly included USB-A, USB-C, Thunderbolt, a headphone jack, and an SD card slot on the charging puck. It’s unclear how these ports connect with the laptop, but it’s a very cool concept.

With an almost bezel-free design and what appears to be a hole punch style camera, the display looks amazing.

The Craob X features an Intel Core i7 1280P processor, an ample 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, a quick 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, and Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

At this point, the Craob X is only a concept, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it goes through some substantial changes before it hits the market.

Craob, on the other hand, stated that it would “be launched and ready for purchase soon” – we’ll believe it when we see it.
