Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Gameplay Trailer Confirms Release Date

Tiny Tina, the pint-size demolitions specialist, is arguably one of the most iconic characters in the Borderlands series, which may explain why she’s getting her own game in the shape of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was featured at the 2021 PlayStation Showcase, where the game’s Vault Hunters, several exotic places, a range of monster opponents, a surprising quantity of firearms for a fantasy world, and the game’s release date were all announced.

Tiny Tina sat in the Dungeon Master’s chair during a Borderlands 2 DLC campaign when she battled the game’s Vault Hunters. Players won’t only be able to play as existing Vault Hunters this time; for the first time in a Borderlands game, they’ll be able to build their own customized, multi-class avatar. The gameplay reveal clip shown during the 2021 PlayStation Showcase showcases Tiny Tina’s environment and the new Vault Hunters that players may build with her.

As the trailer begins, fans of metal music will know the girlish voices and strong, driving beat of the Japanese metal band Babymetal. The gameplay reveal video for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has a similar conflicting tone, with bright colors, big soda cans, and dazzling magical spells juxtaposed against the relentless rat-a-tat of gunfire, hideous opponents, and Tiny Tina’s amusing yet unsettling narration.

The shambling undead, toothy treasure box mimics, the Dragon Lord, and several very real dragons are among the enemies featured in this movie. The game will be published on March 25, 2022, according to the end of the teaser.

Tiny Tina’s personality is also showcased in the trailer, whether through her theatrical, rapid-fire explanations—or refusals to explain herself, as the case may be. Tiny Tina has gone through a lot in her life, and her last campaign in Borderlands 2 was used to help her accept the death of a loved one. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands might have a similar grim undertone to its ostensibly lighthearted narrative.

Some of Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ cosmetics are also shown in the teaser, ranging from imposing armor to fluffy hat-and-cloak combinations. Tiny Tina and the developers appear to have put a lot of effort into making this game look perfect.

Some fans have expressed worries about the game’s speed, although it’s tough to make any major objections at this point in development. Meanwhile, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands looks to be preparing to welcome players into a world of metal, magic, and a plethora of firearms.
