Canada Day
On July 1st, millions of Canadians worldwide celebrate Canada Day by flying the red maple leaf on their national flag to commemorate the union of the provinces of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick in 1867. There is no uniformity to the remembrance because it takes place throughout the country in different cities without any coordination. But these are the typical things that people do on party days.
Canadians go all out for this national occasion, dressing up or getting their faces painted in white and red to represent the country’s flag. Ultimately, this celebration commemorates the nation’s struggle for full autonomy.
Citizens celebrate their nation’s independence throughout the country with parades, music, picnics, and spectacular fireworks displays. Apart from that, several Canadians who can’t physically attend gatherings also enjoy the power of virtual celebrations. Ideas for virtually celebrating Canada Day include using tools like live video streaming and social media. Also, there are virtual Canada Day scavenger hunt activities, virtual fireworks, virtual museum or park tours, and more.
In addition, most Canadians enjoy virtual games. As for game enthusiasts, virtual games are easily accessible too, including casino games like blackjack, poker, and slots, thanks to advanced technological innovations, these are available on an online platform. These activities aim to let people celebrate the event even though they can’t be together physically.
Canada Day is a time to be proud of Canada’s great successes in the arts, literature, science, and sports and to witness an astounding display of unity as its diverse cultures come together to celebrate what makes their country so special.

Canadian National Exhibition
Each year in Toronto, the Canadian National Exhibition combines a variety of attractions into one massive event: a showground, fairground, funfair, concerts, horse shows, farmyard, garden show, food hall, restaurants, and a great Mardi Gras procession.
Every year, almost 1.5 million people travel to Exhibition Place on the beaches of Lake Ontario to see Canada’s largest fair, The Ex, for its full 18-day run running up to and including Labour Day on the first Monday in September.
The fair’s original 1879 purpose was to promote agriculture, industry, and the arts; today, it serves as a showcase for the entire country. In many cultures, the end of summer is commemorated by a trip to the city for a day of fantastic, old-fashioned fun with the whole family.
