Since “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” was unveiled last May, the game has been captivating and hooking gamers of all kinds, surpassing their expectations.

“The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” is an action-adventure game by Nintendo for Nintendo Switch. It is the sequel to “Breath of the Wild,” released in 2017. “Tears of the Kingdom” retains much of the features of the gameplay, such as the open world of Hyrule, which has been expanding to give way for more vertical exploration.

In the game, the player controls Link as he forages their worlds to search for Princess Zelda and fights to prevent the Demon King from destroying their world.

Now, there are rumors, news, and speculations that say a DLC for the game has been confirmed by the official website of the game itself. However, these news are not really official yet, especially since there is no official release date so far for the DLC. Nonetheless, “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” gamers are sharing their thoughts on what they’d love to see in the DLC, should it push through. Here’s a list.

Bringing Link To The Past

“Tears of the Kingdom” features some time travel as part of its storyline. Gamers also want to see this feature if the DLC pushes through and launches. They are hoping Link can time travel to a pre-Calamity Hyrule, or perhaps even a pre-Hyrule Hyrule. They are also saying this could take place in the Temple of Time, either on the Great Plateau or on the Great Sky Island, depending on the time Link is traveling to. Or perhaps even both these places. Why not!

Rebuilding For Hyrule Castle Town

Like time traveling, the game also features some rebuilding of the kingdom. Avid gamers see this as an opportunity for the DLC to showcase more building elements for the game, and have Link spearhead some efforts to restore Castle Town and perhaps even Hyrule itself.

Also, the DLC could add various materials and building quests to earn new establishments and houses around town, as well as journeys to each region to get help or convince people to set up homes and services in the town.

Featuring More Of The Zonai

While it is true that there were Zonai ruins in “Breath of the Wild,” the story of “Tears of the Kingdom” revealed more about them, and saw Rauru and Mineru as examples of their kind.

There’s a lot of potential here if they will appear more in the DLC since they have so much history, culture, and abilities unseen in modern Hyrule to impart.

More Danger And Mystery In The Depths

In the current game, the Depths are a great area to explore, bringing in so much more danger, threats, and new ways of playing.

However, aside from just a little bit of their story and some side quests involving the Yiga clan, the majority of them are just free for the player to discover if they wish. If they decide to explore it further, they are not likely to find so much besides Gloom adversaries, old Zonaite mines, and new outfits for Link. Kinda boring.

With the upcoming DLC (fingers crossed), the game could unfold the Depths even further, allowing players to know what this dark world really is, how it came to be, and the like, paving the way for something more sinister.

More Great Sky Islands

Admit it or not, there aren’t many things going on in the sky as many might have hoped for in the current “Tears of the Kingdom” game. But with a new DLC coming, it could be an opportunity to showcase more Great Sky Islands.

Additionally, there could also be new challenges with more Zonai loot, new breeds of enemies and threats, and maybe even some extra sky dungeons that will provide more thrill to gamers. What could be in that vast space sitting above Hyrule? That could also be nice to see.

Nevertheless, right now, what players can do is just daydream, see what developments will be revealed about the DLC, and wait for it to be released finally. Beyond everything, a good DLC for any game can change how people play it.
