In “Stardew Valley,” every crop you find is a treasure, such as the Golden Walnut. Golden Walnuts are the parrots’ currency on Ginger Island. Here, we will take you to where on the Island you can find these Walnuts. Let’s get started.
Ginger Island East
Outside Leo’s Hut
- One Walnut here
- Look in the bush in the middle of the jungle along the path that leads to Leo’s Hut.
The Altar Near Leo’s Hut
- Three Walnuts here
- You must put a Banana on the Altar on the staircase leading to Leo’s Hut to get the Walnuts here.
Inside Leo’s Hut
- One Walnut here
- Inside Leo’s Hut, use an Axe to hit the tree so the Walnut can drop.
South Of The Shrine
- One Walnut here
- Traverse the hidden path from the foot of Leo’s Hut going south. You can see the Shrine with the Walnut.
The Bird Shrine
- Five Walnuts here
- You must first solve the Bird Shrine puzzle by putting the right gems on each pedestal so you can get the Walnuts.
Ginger Island West
Harvest Crops
- Five Walnuts here
- Harvest crops at random here to find the Walnuts.
Gourmand Frog Requests
- 15 Walnuts here
- Here, the Walnuts are gifted as a reward for planting crops in the order requested by Gourmand Frog after repairing the Farmhouse. Then, you must talk to Frog once more to receive the Walnuts after you are done sowing.
Northern Cliffs
- One Walnut here
- To get the Walnut here, you must dig up a portion of the sand next to the northern cliff, which is located south of the Farm in the beach’s southeast corner with the curved palm tree.
Mining Mussel Nodes
- Five Walnuts here
- Simply, you must mine Mussel Nodes to get a Walnut. The five Walnuts here come at you sporadically, though.
Southwest Shipwreck
- One Walnut here
- Follow a hidden pathway on the beach’s southwest side to locate a Walnut in a plant south of the Farm.
Wack-A-Mole
- One Walnut here
- As the place’s name implies, hit the mole on the beach’s southeast side to receive your Walnut.
Three Blue Starfish
- One Walnut here
- Near the three blue starfish on the beach’s southern section, dig up some sand to find the Walnut.
Tide Pools
- One Walnut here
- Proceed to the yellow and blue starfish shaped like a diamond along the tide pools on the beach. Then, dig up some said between those starfish.
Beach ‘X’
- One Walnut here
- X marks the spot. Dig where you see an X in the sand. This shall be near the tide pools.
Tide Pools Again
- One Walnut here
- Dig near the center area of the diamond-shaped indents in the sand near the tide pools’ bottom left area.
Coconut Tree
- One Walnut here
- This time, you must utilize a shovel to dig behind the Coconut tree located by the pond on the Farm’s west.
Quest Reward
- Five Walnuts here
- You must first complete The Pirate’s Wife quest. Once done, you shall get your five Walnuts as your reward.
Birdie’s Hut
- One Walnut here
- You will again do some digging in the sand near the north of Birdie’s Hut to get the Walnut.
Western Coast Cliff
- One Walnut here
- Find the Walnut in a bush to the cliff’s bottom-right area. The cliff is located at the top of the western coast.
Qi’s Walnut Room
- One Walnut here
- Proceed past Qi’s Walnut Room through the ocean water, then to a bush keeping a Walnut.
Tiger Slime Grove
- 4 Walnuts here
- The first requirement here is to kill every slime in the Tiger Slime Grove. The Walnut will be your reward.
- For the next Walnut, look behind the Grove’s Mahogany Tree.
- Then, in the Grove’s center behind the Mahogany Tree previously, dig up some grass to find the Walnut.
- Finally, proceed to the path east of the Grove to locate the Walnut, situated along a cliff edge at the road’s end.
Southern Wall
- One Walnut here
- Travel well across the Bridge. Then, you shall find a bush nearby the southern wall. The bush contains a Walnut.
Quest Reward
- Three Walnuts here
- Another quest must be completed here: the Simon Says puzzle quest. This is located in the cave north of Tiger Slime Grove.
Parrot Express Station
- Three Walnuts here
- First, go to the sands in the center of the pebbles. The sands create a diamond shape east of the Parrot Express Station. Go dig up the sand.
- Then, follow the hidden path located east of the Station. You will find the Walnut at the end, just like a pot of gold at the rainbow’s end.
- The next Walnut is in a bush east of the cliff that overlooks the Farmhouse, just south of the Parrot Express Station along the cliff.
Ginger Island North
Island North Entrance
- Two Walnuts here
- First, dig up the spot in the center of the pebbles located on top of the stairs at Island North’s entrance.
- Then, there’s a Walnut buried in the center of the diamond of flowers, located at the entrance’s northeast.
Hidden Passage
- One Walnut here
- Go ahead and enter a secret path, which is located at the top of the stairs near the entrance to Island North. You can then find the Walnut.
Island Field Office
- One Walnut here
- Go dig up the patch of sand with a strange texture. This is located at the Island Field Office’s southeast.
Dig Site
- Four Walnuts here
- First, unearth the rocks located in the middle of the stone circle. The stone circle is at the Dig Site itself, so it is easy to find. Uncover your Walnut.
- Then, approach the bush across the bridge to find another Walnut. The bridge is right above the Dig Site.
- Lastly, travel over the bridge to find a hidden passage running along the cliff past the stairs from the Dig Site. Here, you can find more Walnuts.
Ginger Island Field Office
- 12 Walnuts here
- First, complete the Large Animal Collection to receive Walnuts as your reward.
- Then, complete the Snake collection.
- You will also have to donate a Mummified Frog to this Field Office.
- Donate a Mummified Bat as well.
- Finally, finish the Field Office’s Purple Flowers Island Survey.
Volcano Entrance
- Three Walnuts here
- First, proceed to the circle of pebbles located in the sands east of the Volcano Entrance for your next Walnut.
- Then, head over to a curved tree located northeast of the Entrance. Use a slingshot to shoot it. A Walnut shall drop to the ground.
- Lastly, dig up the sand in the space nearby the curved palm tree south of the Entrance.
Circle Of Stones
- Two Walnuts here
- First, proceed to the very tip of the map’s northwest corner. Then, dig up sand right at the center of the circle of stones to find your Walnut.
- Proceed west from the circle of stones. You will then spot a hidden passage in a bush leading to another Walnut.
River Of Lava
- Two Walnuts here
- Find a River of Lava where you can use a Watering Can to create a lengthy path that leads west to an opening with two bushes where you can find Walnuts.
Volcano
- 17 Walnuts here
- It is unlikely that somebody would harvest any crop like walnuts within a volcano, but here in “Stardew Valley,” you can find a whopping 17 Walnuts within the Volcano.
- But first, you must kill monsters, mine blocks, or open various chests in the Volcano.
The Forge
- Two Walnuts here
- Look in the bushes in the Forge to find more Walnuts.
Ginger Island South
Island North Stairs
- One Walnut here
- Go to the rear of the tree east of the stairs at Island North. Then, you shall discover a hidden path where a Walnut is.
Starfish Tide Pool
- One Walnut here
- Another Tide Pool. But this time, a Starfish Tide Pool. Fish within the Pool to find your Walnut.
Beach
- Six Walnuts here
- Love the beach? Go dig some Walnuts. Dig up the sand right at the center of the beach’s diamond of yellow starfish. But first, the Resort must be there.
- Then, for the rest of the Walnuts, solve the mermaid Flute Block puzzle in the beach’s southeast section. But, make sure it is a rainy day.
Pirate Cove
- Four Walnuts here
- Play darts at Pirate Cove on clear nights after 8 p.m. When you win, you will also win Walnuts. But this only happens on even-numbered days.
- Dig up a patch of sand exposed in the Cove, but the Resort should be there.
Other Parts Of Ginger Island
Fishing
- Five Walnuts here
- These are more of tasks than locations. First, fish anywhere on the Island to get a maximum of five Walnuts.
Crack Open A Golden Coconut
- One Walnut here
- Break open the first Golden Coconut at the Blacksmith’s. You will be rewarded with a Walnut.
