Heading outdoors in Japan from your home or wherever you are staying, if you are traveling, you’ll be exposed to hideous incidents, and it’s fortunate if you won’t be a victim. While the crime rate in the country is on a downward trend, unscrupulous acts still exist.

Among the most brutal enemies in this country are criminal organizations such as the Yakuza or mafia-style groups, organized crime syndicates with a near-perfect hierarchical structure, and members who practice certain rituals.

Japanese anime are making sure to depict this alarming part of Japanese society, such as in “Naruto” where the fictitious Akatsuki organized crime group is. This Akatsuki is the most wanted group in the shinobi world. There are a total of 15 members of this group. Are you curious who the strongest is? Read on!

The Strongest: Obito Uchiha

Others might disagree and say the Six Paths Of Pain are the strongest, but after careful consideration, the PVP Live team concluded that Obito is actually the strongest. Anime insiders compare his strength to that of Naruto. He was low-key as a child ninja but transformed into a renowned character never seen yet before.

Since joining this crime group, he has had quite a story. He disguised and deceived everybody. Madara saw his potential and trained him to gain control over his skills. Thus, he was able to manipulate several people to achieve his goals, no matter how evil they were.

Unofficial Member But Nevertheless Strong: Madara Uchiha

Madara is not an official member of the Akatsuki, but since he was involved with the resurrection of Kaguya Otsutsuki and was among the story’s few characters who were able to stand up to their overwhelming strengths, alongside her superpowers and being feared after his death, as well as getting resurrected himself even, if those did not tell you he was strong, what is it, then? He was the most powerful and had this incredible power as a ninja. He orchestrated everything that the heroes feared in the anime.

Nagato Uzumaki

Several lists of this kind have their own versions of who the most vital Akatsuki members are. Nagato comes in third on this PVP Live ranking because he is technically the founder of a part of the group. Also, his story leading him to the Akatsuki is interesting. He was living in peace until his parents’ early demise, motivating him to take vengeance. He, thus, descended into darkness and eventually founded another version of the crime group. He wanted to become Akatsuki’s leader, end the hostility and violence between nations, and bring genuine peace to the world.

As a founder in part and the person who destroyed the whole Hidden Leaf village, he was among the strongest Akatsuki members. His enormous chakra reserves and his skill for sensing chakra, as well as his mastery of Ninjutsu and his Rinnegan, boosted his strength and recognition.

In collaboration with the Six Paths of Pain, which he created, he became the most fearsome opponent the world has ever seen, so it is understandable why some lists would put his Six Paths of Pain on rank one.

Itachi Uchiha

Itachi is the fourth strongest on this list primarily because he was a spy, and nobody trampled him down. Due to his family’s plan to overthrow the Hokage, he was forced to kill his entire clan before the events in “Naruto’s” main story string, sparing his brother, Sasuke, who had become one of the heroes of the anime.

Among the powers that have made him strong are the ocular jutsu, the Tsukuyomi that controlled everything, the Susanoo technique, the Izanagi, and the Izanami. He may be feared, but he is also well-loved.

Orochimaru

You’ve heard about Orochimaru in conversations among “Naruto” fans. They’ll say, “What a strong guy he is!”

He was already part of the virtuous Legendary Sannins of Konoha, but his greed made him stray from the righteous path. He wanted to be immortal, which was one reason he joined the Akatsuki. As part of the group, he attempted to steal Itachi’s body because he wanted his Sharingan eyes for himself. Itachi won, though.

He isn’t just the strongest but the most powerful, too. His immense Ninjutsu knowledge enabled him to perform various jutsu and techniques. However, he eventually quit the group and continued his quest by himself.

Sasuke Uchiha

Interestingly, Sasuke had also become part of Akatsuki, although his stay was very short-lived. However, before he signed up, he was the one who defeated Orochimaru and, afterward, invited his comrades to join the crime group with him. He wanted to kill his brother, so he left Konoha to become stronger. You can recall how his battle with Itachi became a pivotal moment in the whole storyline of “Naruto.” Curious if he had achieved his goal against his brother? He did.

Konan

Ah, the only female on this list. A childhood friend of some of the characters in Naruto, he was also a war orphan who went under the tutelage of Jiraiya, the Legendary Sannin. Konan was among the founding members of the original Akatsuki crime group, partnering up with her childhood friends to achieve her goals. Her most notable attacks were the Paper Ninjutsu techniques, the Dance of the Shikigami attack, and more maneuvers that made her win her battles.

The rest of the strongest Akatsuki members are the Six Paths of Pain, Kisame Hoshigaki, Sasori, Kakuzu, Shin Uchiha, Deidara, Hidan, Jūzō Biwa, Zetsu, and Kyūsuke. Knowing those Akatsuki members ranked according to strength is critical to appreciating the story of “Naruto.” Stream the show now.
