Xiaomi has brought itself to glory and fame recently. It is now one of the top brands when it comes to technology products like smartphones, challenging the more renowned brands in the industry today.
The third model in the Mi Max line, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is immediately differentiated from its predecessors by its new screen. Previously at 6.44 inches in the second-gen model, Xiaomi has increased the size to 6.9 inches, larger than ever.
Aside from the changes in the dimension, it also features a higher-capacity battery. This, up from 5,300mAh to 5,500mAh, and can get to 71 percent charge in an hour. Now, what can top that?
This has probably been possible due to the adoption of the new 18:9 aspect ratio, which is common with most new smartphones launching on the scene these days, allowing them to have a taller display without becoming significantly wider.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 also made some enhancements under the hood, swapping out the Snapdragon 625 chip for the Snapdragon 636 and, in the process also, boosting the graphics chip from the Adreno 506 to the Adreno 509.
The company claims this results in a 40 percent improvement in performance and efficiency, so Mi Max 3 is definitely faster than its predecessor.
Regarding the camera features, the single-lens camera at the rear has been swapped out for a dual-lens mode. It is a new AI camera that can smartly auto-select preset scenes to help take the best shot, a feature that is also at the front where people can use the upgraded 8 MP selfie camera to unlock the phone via face recognition.
