Nothing could be better than getting things for free, right? And video game developer and publisher Epic Games is making sure it fulfills this wish of yours. You can play free games from the Epic Games store this week.
For over four years now, the Epic Games Store has regularly been giving away free games. Every Thursday at 11 a.m. Eastern Time, Epic Games offers at least one free PC game, sometimes two or three free games.
All you need to do to claim and play these free games is create a free Epic Games account and enable two-factor authentication so you can begin snagging freebies. You have a week to add the freebies to your library because new ones take their place.
At this point, Epic has given away hundreds of free games, and we are seeing no signs that this program will stop soon.
“Epic Games Store gives you a free game every week. Come back often for the exclusive offers. Download a free game to play or join a free-to-play game community today,” said Epic Games Store on its official website.
The first free game available now until March 9th at 11 a.m. Eastern Time is “Rise of Industry.” It is a simulation game set during the Industrial Revolution. The gamer’s job is to create a thriving empire consisting of factories and businesses, and produce necessary goods for the area around them. You won’t stop when you start playing “Rise of Industry.”
Then, you also have “Call of the Sea,” another free game from the Epic Games Store. Starting March 9th, you can claim this game, a narrative mystery set on a beguiling island in the South Pacific. It takes place in the 1930s, where gamers will follow a journey to find their husband, who went missing while on an expedition. With beautiful set pieces and witty puzzles, “Call of the Sea” is another game worth playing.
So, what are you waiting for? Visit the Epic Games Store now.
