Some Facebook users have reported facing the issue of “no data available” on Facebook when they click on the likes. This can really take a toll on somebody’s Facebook usage, especially if you are curious about the people who have liked your posts.

In this guide, we will tell you about the many ways you can fix this issue. But first, what is this glitch all about?

What Does The ‘No Data Available’ Glitch On Facebook Likes Mean?

“No data available” on Facebook means that when users tap on likes, comments or they want to view those details, no data is available.

Some users have been facing this glitch whenever they tap on the likes option of any post. They cannot see anything, and the error message shown is “no data available.”

It may appear on posts of yours or your friends’. You do not need to worry about the issue since there is nothing wrong with your Internet connection, device, or account.

It is a glitch or bug on the Facebook app, and may appear on the app on both Android and iOS. There are ways to fix this.

Ways To Fix The Glitch

1. Check If Facebook Is Down Or Not

First, you can check whether Facebook is down or not. You can check the status of the Facebook server by using legitimate down detectors online. You will get to know updates in the last 24 hours.

If the Facebook server is down, then you cannot do anything but wait until the Facebook server is up again.

The Facebook server being down means that there are chances data are not available on Facebook.

2. Update Your Facebook App

There are also chances that data is unavailable because you are using a version of Facebook that is not updated. So you will have to update your Facebook app. To do so, go to the Play Store or App Store, and update your Facebook app to the latest version. Then, launch the updated app and check whether the problem persists or not.

3. Clear The Cache

Another way to fix the bug is to clear the app’s cache. To clear the cache, go to the Play Store or App Store, then search for the Facebook app. Then, you must tap the clear cache button. And then try opening Facebook again to see whether the error has disappeared or not.

4. Switch To Facebook Web

If none of these methods are working, you can also try switching to the Facebook web. Go to your browser, open Facebook, and log in to your account. See if the error has disappeared.
