There is a plethora of excellent games available for the entertainment system. Still, even at its release, its green and black display and limited processing power began to show their age.
Even though Nintendo’s launch of a color version of the Game Boy in 1998 helped revitalize interest in the handheld throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, it was time for the company to produce a genuine successor to the Game Boy’s lengthy lifespan.
When it came out, Nintendo’s new handheld was dubbed the Game Boy Advance. It was a 32-bit marvel that could produce some of the best-looking 2D graphics on the market and even some decent 3D graphics with a little bit of programming magic. As a result of the overwhelming feeling in the new handheld, Konami made significant investments in its launch lineup and made several games that caught everybody’s attention.
The Castlevania Mania
One of the best and enticing games adapted into a good series on Netflix is the Castlevania, but what about it? What makes it suitable?
To start, Castlevania is the story of a never-ending battle between the magical family lineage of the Belmonts and Dracula, the Lord of Darkness, in the Castlevania video game franchise. Following the legend, Dracula is revived every 100 years, and it is up to the Belmonts and their servants to destroy him before he unleashes his vengeance on the whole world. Dracula is the central character of the story, and he appears in nearly every Castlevania game.
In most cases, Dracula’s castle and the surrounding Transylvanian region, which are both situated in present-day Romania, serve as the setting for the games in the series. Still, others have taken place in other locations.
The mythology of Bram Stoker’s book Dracula serves as a vague inspiration for the series. Other creatures from classic horror literature, cinema, fantasy, and mythology include the storyline. These creatures impede the player’s progress toward Dracula, although they are not acquainted with the game’s overall storyline.
The Third Sequel of the Trilogy
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow is a side-scrolling platforming video game released in 2003 by Konami. It is developed and published by the company. The Castlevania series represents, by this game, the third entry for the Game Boy Advance system.
Producer Koji Igarashi, who had previously overseen the creation of earlier Castlevania games, was in charge of Aria of Sorrow’s development as well. Michiru Yamane, Takashi Yoshida, and Soshiro Hokkai collaborated on the soundtrack for the game, which was composed by Michiru Yamane. Director Junichi Murakami was a first-timer in the Castlevania franchise.
The narrative, on the other hand, is arguably the most compelling aspect of Aria of Sorrow Rom. Even though Castlevania games aren’t particularly renowned for having imaginative plots that go beyond “Another Belmont defeats Dracula,” the cutscenes in this game are definitely worth paying attention to.
The whole game takes place in 2035, a long time after the fabled last fight with Dracula in 1999, which we may never see in a Castlevania game again if this is any indication (but is still heavily referenced in Aria of Sorrow). There are a few references to present and future technologies, including the capacity to wield a pistol, to demonstrate this.
In this game, you do not take on the role of a Belmont or anybody associated with the Belmont family.
You take on the role of Dracula’s reincarnation, Soma Cruz, who must battle the dark lord’s demonic influence in what is probably the most exciting twist of the whole series thus far.
The series comes with 20 parts, and there are several dos and don’ts that you might want not to miss.
Aria Of Sorrow: Guide, Tips, And Tricks into The Game
You open the competition as Soma Cruz, the game’s primary character, as well as the only playable character you may choose from.
The game takes place in 2035, 32 years futuristic times, and the setting in a dystopian prospect.
A solar eclipse will occur in Japan, which will be the first time this century that such an event has occurred.
Soma is an exchange student in Japan, although he seems to have been there for a long time since he has a childhood friend called Mina Hakuba, a native Japanese person who has been a lifelong buddy from childhood. As they make their way to the temple, Mina’s father serves as a priest to take a great view of the eclipse and bring them to an unknown location. As Soma and Mina begin to regain their bearings, they acquainted with a strange guy who introduces himself as GenyaArikado.
Genya seems to be acquainted with both of these individuals, and, strangely enough, Mina appears to be acquainted with Genya.
Genyainquires about why the two are there, but they don’t seem to be aware of how they came to be there. They are utterly oblivious to their surroundings.
Genya informs them that they have arrived at Dracula’s castle. Soma inquires as to how they came to be in Europe, knowing they were already there. Genya informs him that they are not in Europe but are instead in the solar eclipse path.
As Genya continues to convey the situation, several of Dracula’s henchmen assault the gathering. Genya defeats all of her adversaries except one, who manages to sneak up on Mina and knock her unconscious. Soma then goes on a killing spree against the adversary.
In addition to killing the opponent, he gains access to a new enemy skill.
