Oftentimes, you’ll read stories online with expert insights telling you not to let your kids play video games just yet because you’d have to first expose them to traditional toys and books so they can focus on their schooling.

But maybe you can take those insights with a grain of salt.

A parent recently shared how their five-year-old discovered a trick in the popular farm simulation game “Stardew Valley” that not many players know about in the game. Here’s the PVP Live scoop.

5-Year-Old unearths an unknown trick

Raidernation101x, an avid “Stardew Valley” gamer, took to Reddit to share how their five-year-old boy discovered that eggs could be fired from a Slingshot.

“My 5-year-old has always done some pretty wild things with his farm. He’s tried to fence in his junimo to keep them like pets, he sold all the actual animals I got for him, he even paved his entire farm once,” the parent wrote. “But recently he found the slingshot. He started firing rocks at everything; trains, fish, birds, buildings. Wild child.”

Like your kids, their son would tinker through the game without direction (that is, they don’t think about completing quests and storylines, or running the in-game farm) as they just want to have fun.

This five-year-old finds pleasure in firing stores using the SIingshot to unsuspecting citizens of Pelican Town. Yes, that’s creepy, but for them, it is fun.

While watching their son having fun launching missiles at village Pam by the Bus Stop, the parent noticed that Pam made a shocking remark that the projectiles from the Slingshot were eggs.

“But the wildest? Came into his rocks splattering with this really weird sound. He was shooting Pam at the bus stop and I thought it was making like a painful fleshy sound. That’s when he said it wasn’t rocks… IT WAS EGGS!!!” Raidernation101x continued.

Apparently, not everybody in the “Stardew Valley” community knows about this trick.

“That is honestly so weird. How is this the first time I’m hearing of this?” commented MountainSage58.

However, fortunately, eggs from a Slingshot don’t affect how you progress into the game, as, though it’s possible, it is merely for amusement. Maybe the developers added that for kid players?

‘Stardew’ player commits infidelity in the game!

Aside from tending your farm, “Stardew Valley” also allows you to develop romantic relationships with villagers and marry them. After all, life won’t be life without love.

But, a “Stardew Valley” player shared how they cheated on their husband in the game.

The player, ThrowRA-swimmer3, shared on Reddit how they were working to raise their relationship levels, giving bouquets and presents to the villagers. All was going well until Elliot, a bachelor, invited the player onto his boat and suddenly snatched a kiss.

“I accidentally cheated on my husband,” the player wrote. “It all happened so quickly and I had no choice in the matter. I told him afterwards that I felt uncomfortable, but by then it was too late.”

“Stardew Valley” is a simulation game, so you get the picture.

Another player commented on the incident, “Don’t you have to give them a bouquet to get to this step? So that really wasn’t an accident…”

“Our children greeted me the next morning, completely unaware of my betrayal,” added ThrowRA-swimmer3.
