Animal Crossing New Horizons Happy Home Paradise Paid DLC Announced

Nintendo has been providing free content updates to Animal Crossing: New Horizons since the game’s initial release and another major update is on the way soon. Animal Crossing: New Horizons update 2.0 will be released on Friday, November 5, bringing significant new content to the social simulation game. While there will be a lot of free content in Animal Crossing: New Horizons when it launches on November 5, there will also be some paid DLC.

The Happy Home Paradise DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be available on November 5. This paid DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will cost $24.99 as a one-time purchase, but it’s also available as a freebie via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack.

At the time of writing, no specific release date for the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack had been announced. Still, it was confirmed that individual memberships would cost $49.99 for 12 months, and family memberships will cost $79.99 for 12 months.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC will allow players to visit a completely new location. Players will be able to use the airport after receiving a recommendation from Tom Nook to travel to Paradise Planning, a resort planner that specializes in building vacation homes. Players in Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be able to work for Paradise Planning to design dream vacation homes for various Animal Crossing characters.

Players will be able to choose the island where this vacation home will be built, then design it, choose the Animal Crossing: New Horizons furniture that will go inside, and even decorate the yard. The paid DLC will greatly expand how Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can customize things in the game, and those who have the paid DLC will also be able to put their skills to work on their own island.

Players will be able to revisit the island homes they’ve decorated and check in on their clients using the Animal Crossing: New Horizons NookPhone. They can redecorate the vacation homes, encourage clients to share rooms, and do other things. They will also be able to design other facilities besides vacation homes, with examples such as schools, restaurants, and hospitals being given.

Needless to say, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Happy Home Paradise DLC significantly expands the game’s content. Those who have already unlocked all of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nook Miles rewards and are happy with how their island functions will have a lot more to do when the paid DLC and free update arrive on November 5.
