Captain America MCU Skin For Marvel’s Avengers Releases Tomorrow

Tomorrow, Captain America’s Avengers: Endgame costume will be available in Marvel’s Avengers marketplace. This is great news for MCU fans and the Marvel game, which hasn’t seen a new MCU skin since Iron Man’s Mark 85 costume was added in May.

The next several months are set to include some of the game’s most ambitious content yet. The War for Wakanda extension, a free upgrade that follows Black Panther as he defends his native country against Ulysses Klaw, is the most anticipated DLC release.

The Cosmic Cube event began on Tuesday, and it features a new enemy sector in which the Avengers battle Monica Rappaccini as she holds the formidable cube. While the new villain section was a welcome addition to the game, a strange new bug revealed users’ IP addresses on screen, making streaming the new content a risky proposition. The problem was immediately fixed the next day, and it appears that the superhero game’s wheels will keep revolving as a new MCU skin is about to hit the market.

Captain America’s costume from Avengers: Endgame will be available as a skin in the game’s marketplace on Thursday, June 24, according to a post from the PlayAvengers Twitter account on Wednesday. The new-look will most likely cost 1400 credits, the highest pricing tier in the game’s microtransaction store, just like every previous MCU-inspired skin.

Captain America’s look in the third act of the blockbuster film appears to be the inspiration for the skin. Steve Rogers dons the red, white, and blue costume as he prepares for the possible implications of utilizing the Infinity Stones after pulling off the Time Heist with his fellow Avengers. The hero stays in the costume for the rest of the conflict, wielding Mjölnir and ultimately uttering the legendary line, “Avengers, assemble.”

Captain America’s new skin is the Avengers: Endgame’s penultimate Avengers: Endgame skin, with just Thor yet to don his MCU costume. Given how many skins were released in a prior bug, the Captain America skin shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Nonetheless, the meticulous attention to detail results in a high-quality costume for aficionados of the character. Fans chastised the Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hulk MCU skins for having different hairstyles than their cinematic counterparts. Headcovers, which allow the skins to seem more movie-accurate, have addressed those hair problems for Iron Man and now Captain America.

June will be the final month for costumes inspired by Avengers: Endgame, according to Marvel’s revised Avengers roadmap, with skins based on other MCU films arriving later in the year. With only a few days remaining in June, it’s feasible that the God of Thunder may finally get his Avengers: Endgame skin in the near future.
