Electronic Arts may have passed on E3 2021 and the Summer Game Fest in June in order to put on a show in July, missing out on the excitement of such a big event, but it’s now ready to reap the rewards. Hundreds of games were showcased across over a dozen events during E3 and the Summer Game Fest. With those behind them, fans turn their attention to EA Play Live for the summer’s next round of major game announcements, and EA is more than eager to start creating anticipation for what’s to come.
Until far, Electronic Arts has only revealed the date of their forthcoming EA Play Live event: July 22. It was successful in completing the work at hand. It announced that EA will not be attending E3 2021 or any of the other June gaming events, as well as giving EA fans a date to look forward to. EA is ready to start releasing more information now that E3 is done. The pre-show for EA Play Live will begin on July 22 at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET.

The other piece of information that Electronic Arts is ready to provide is who will host the event. EA is replacing Greg Miller, who hosted the event in 2019 and 2020, and Andrea Rene, who presented the event in 2018, with a new host.
Austin Creed, better known as Xavier Woods in WWE, has finally been identified as the person in question. Creed has just revealed that he’ll be presenting a competitive TV program on the newly reconstituted G4TV channel, demonstrating his hosting abilities.
For the time being, that’s all Electronic Arts has to say about the forthcoming EA Play Live event. After all, it’s still a month away from broadcasting. That’s plenty of time to keep spreading fresh details about the event and the games it’ll be hosting.

Battlefield 2042 is, without a doubt, the most probable title to be presented at EA Play Live this year. The online multiplayer shooter was announced ahead of E3 2021, but there will undoubtedly be more to come.
A status update on Dragon Age 4’s development is also expected. However, the most intriguing rumor is that a new game will be released that would resuscitate one of EA’s previous successful series. It’s possible that it’ll be Dead Space, but EA has a number of classic properties that would be fantastic to see resurrected.
Electronic Arts fans have four weeks to wait to discover what EA has in store for them, whether it’s Dead Space, Dragon Age 4, or something else. The pre-show for EA Play Live 2021 will commence at 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET through online streaming providers on July 22. More details will be available soon.
