PlayStation has added a completely new look to the PlayStation Network in honor of Pride Month this year. Unlike many other PS4 themes, gamers will be able to download this one for free and celebrate Pride Month.
This fresh new theme, which PlayStation fans can now download for free from the PSN, features the vibrant Pride flag. Wario64, a gaming industry insider on Twitter, recently revealed the specifics on how PS4 players may acquire the theme for free. PlayStation gamers must enter the correct code to receive the free Pride Month PS4 theme. There are five distinct codes for various areas.
GBX2-ELNK-R5KE is the code for PlayStation enthusiasts in the Americas. XQF7-9JN4-3NQM is the code for European players. The code is CKDB-GDN3-637B in Japan and PDJR-T6NH-B49Q in Korea. DQM5-2LNC-T6KL is the code for all other Asian nations and areas.
To redeem these codes on a PS4, go to the PlayStation Store and scroll down to “Redeem Codes.” If a player has trouble entering one of these codes, they may be entering the incorrect one because they appear to be region-locked.
This PS4 Pride theme is PlayStation’s way of commemorating the LGBTQ community this year. Gaming is a medium that welcomes the LGBTQ community. Luxie Games, JeffBrutlag, and PikaChulita are just a few of the LGBTQ broadcasters to check out and support throughout June on Twitch. Call of Duty: Warzone just issued new calling cards to commemorate Pride Month, and Activision Blizzard created a new shirt with a similar theme to this PS4 shirt.

Over the years, companies have been increasingly supportive of Pride Month celebrations, and this new PS4 theme is one of PlayStation’s ways of commemorating this year’s Pride Month. Many PlayStation players on Twitter are asking when the cheery PS4 theme will be arriving to the PS5 or whether the next-gen system will receive its own version.
However, one Twitter user quickly pointed out that the PS5 does not presently support themes. Trolls flooded the Twitter thread, while others applauded Wario64 for sharing the complete set of codes.
It appears that PlayStation has a Pride theme code for everyone, whether they are playing PS4 in North America or Asia. While some Twitter users have criticized PlayStation’s Pride theme, it just takes a few seconds to download and might brighten someone’s screen.
