While Apple is holding its WWDC 2023, the multinational digital communications technology conglomerate Cisco Systems, Inc. is conducting its Cisco Live 2023 event in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Cisco Live 2023 kicked off last Sunday, June 4th, and will end on Thursday, June 8th. Cisco Live is the annual conference by Cisco where consumers, technology innovators, partners, prospects, and members of the C-Suite gather together for education, networking, and inspiration. 

So far, Cisco, during the event, has announced various innovations that help consumers conquer challenges, address the challenges faced by consumers and partners, and innovations related to artificial intelligence or AI.

Here is the rundown of these big announcements.

Innovations to help consumers conquer the challenges

The first announcement in this category is the Cisco Networking Cloud. This offers a one-stop platform for consumers to seamlessly manage all networking domains seamlessly. With its simplified approach, this smart platform is bound to eliminate silos, manage networks proactively, ensure peak performance, and minimize human workload. 

Then, there are security enhancements. This is particularly in the form of Cisco Secure Access, a Security Service Edge solution that perfectly against access to different locations, devices, and applications through a unified platform. 

This also involves the Secure Firewall 4200, an innovation that empowers users with seamless connectivity in the office or on the go, and the Cisco Multicloud Defense solution that provides the best security measures for any environment.

The rest of the innovations Cisco announced in this category include the Panoptica and its Full-Stack Observability platform, among others.

Innovations for consumers and partners

Then, during Cisco Live 2023, the company also unveiled innovations to address challenges faced by customers and their partners. 

One is the Cisco Stadium, an innovation that will provide the best fan experiences across stadiums worldwide. Here, attendees can partake in a referee simulation and utilize instant replay technology. 

To fulfill this category’s vision, Cisco partnered with Schneider Electric, a French multinational company specializing in digital automation and energy management. In this tie-up, the two will offer an innovative solution to provide building owners and facility managers with enhanced visibility and better control over energy, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. With these, they can reduce carbon emissions, optimize energy usage, and champion sustainability in their industry.

In addition, Cisco also unveiled the Autonomous Living Project. 

AI solutions

Aside from those, Cisco has also committed to utilizing the best of AI to enable its consumers to achieve their goals. 

The company will continue to harness the power of AI across various domains that include security, collaboration, and networking. 

Then, it will also implement tools so consumers can realize their objectives for sustainability.
