Dead by Daylight released a new teaser today that is only labeled with a memorable quote: “Double, double, toil and difficulty…” This remark appears in a number of media references, many of which have something to do with witches or witchcraft in general, such as Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
As a result, Dead by Daylight’s recent content tease clearly implies that a female survivor character with a distinct witchcraft style will be added to the game shortly. This teaser has few major hints to aid in comprehending its mysterious nature.
The teaser itself looks to be a first-person view of the new figure, who gasps and shudders uncomfortably behind drawn curtains. In reality, October is only a few weeks away. Because Halloween is approaching quickly, the witch or witchcraft motif inferred from this tease might be timed to coincide with the macabre holiday’s celebrations.
