Call of Duty Warzone Players Demanding New Looting Feature

Fans of Call of Duty: Warzone always suggests ways to enhance the game, which is unlikely to change anytime soon. The newest idea sees Call of Duty: Warzone fans requesting a modest change to the game’s loot system from Raven.

Call of Duty: Warzone feature requests have been highly popular in recent months. The anti-cheat system is an excellent example of this; until it was finally unveiled, the community requested more robust software to tackle cheaters. On a lesser scale, players have been pleading for the Iron Trials ‘84 playlist to be made permanent, with Raven recently confirming that Iron Trials will be coming to custom games.

With the success of fan requests so far, it’s possible that the next feature requested by Call of Duty: Warzone gamers may become a reality. The debate was initiated by Reddit user samuryon, who suggested a feature in which the game would inform players what attachments are on a particular weapon. Because most players have a solid knowledge of which attachments are ideal, this would quickly tell players whether an opponent loadout or blueprint weapon is worth utilizing in a match in-game.

This functionality, though, would be helpful to the outside of the game. It may be especially useful when gamers are creating their own Call of Duty: Warzone loadouts. Usually, when players take up a fantastic weapon from a dead person or a container, they have no way of knowing what attachments were utilized to make it so powerful. This is inconvenient since they won’t be able to recreate the weapon after the match is over. This feature would modify that, allowing them to keep track of the ground loot’s attachments.

This would be extremely similar to a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare feature, as Reddit user Rrrrrrromance noted in the comments. The field improvement Weapon Drop in the 2019 game lets players add more attachments to their weapons.

It also displayed the names of the accessories they were using and attaching, allowing them to see how their rifle was configured. The Redditor then suggests that the coders duplicate this code, which may be a decent place to start while not straightforward.

With so many good comments and upvotes on the post, it’s apparent that many people want to see this function introduced in the future. As a result, Raven Software should keep this request in mind since they work on future upgrades to the game, as it may make class development a lot easier.
