Each weekend, Xur, the Agent of The Nine, returns to “Destiny 2,” bringing with him new, exotic and legendary armor, and weapons for players to buy.
Furthermore, since the start of “Season of the Risen,” Xur has also begun offering random rolls of Hawkmoon and Dead Man’s Tale weekly.
This week, apart from these marvelous exotics, he will also be selling another exotic weapon, three exotic armor pieces, and an exotic engram. He will also offer seven legendary weapons and five legendary armor pieces on sale.
But before you can acquire his goods, you must first locate him. So, in this guide, we will reveal where you can find Xur this week in “Destiny 2.”
Who Is Xur?
Xur, more completely known as Xur, Agent of The Nine, is a strange being occasionally appearing in the game from time to time, offering unconventional weapons and armor to Guardians. Xur also serves the ancient beings known as The Nine, hence his other name.
In the game, Xur is a vendor selling exotic weapons, exotic armor, engrams, Exotic Shards, and consumables, provided that he receives Strange Coins and Motes of Light. He appears in various locations in the Tower and Vestian Outpost every weekend from 9 a.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Sunday UTC. He disappears every Sunday and will not return until the following Friday.
Soon, players can coordinate with Xur again for their needs in the game. So here’s a guide on where to find Xur this August 11th.
Where Is Xur Today?
Right now, as of writing this piece, Xur is not on “Destiny 2.” The Agent of The Nine is bound to come back this Friday, August 11th, at daily reset.

As usual, Xur leaves the game on Tuesday, following the “Destiny 2” Weekly Reset.

About ‘Destiny 2’
Developed by Bungie, “Destiny 2” is the sequel to 2014’s “Destiny,” as well as to its subsequent expansions. It is a free-to-play online first-person shooter video game.
Initially, in 2017, the game was launched as a pay-to-play game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. Eventually, in 2019, it became free-to-play, then became playable on Stadia the following month, and added PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S to the platforms where it is playable in December 2020.
Transpiring in a mythic science fiction world, “Destiny 2” has a multiplayer “shared-world” environment that takes elements of role-playing games. Similar to the original, activities in this game are divided among player versus environment, or PvE, and player versus player, or PvP game variants.
Additionally, aside from regular story missions, its PvE design features three-player “strikes” and dungeons and six-player raids. Available for each destination in the game is a free roam patrol mode that features public events and activities unavailable in the original. These activities center on exploring the destinations and interacting with non-player characters, or NPCs (the original “Destiny” only featured NPCs in social spaces. Its PvP features objective-based and traditional deathmatch game modes.
In the “Destiny 2” game, players assume the role of a Guardian, a protector of Earth’s last safe city, as they wield Light, a power that protects humans from various alien races, and battle with the looming threat of the Darkness.
“Destiny 2” is playable now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia.
