Thursday means the free games offered on the Epic Games Store has changed. This week is pretty special since two huge AAA games are free on the service. For the whole week, players can download Shadowrun Collection and Hitman from the Epic Games Store for free.
Hitman
This game is probably the most popular game between the two and most people must be familiar with it by now. Hitman’s 2016 reboot was well praised by fans and critics alike even though the game was released per episode. The free game coming to the Epic Games Store includes all Season One updates as well as every episode from the Prologue. The full Prologue contains new locations such as Hokkaido, Colorado, Bangkok, Marrakesh, Paris, and Sapienza.
Aside from getting these massive free content, the Epic Games Store is also offering Hitman’s Game of the Year copy for just $20. This is a great deal for fans who are left wanting for more. Hitman 2 is also available on the store as well as pre-orders for Hitman 3 which will be an Epic Games Store exclusive once it is released next year.
Shadowrun Collection
Another free game joining Hitman is Shadowrun Collection – an anthology of three various games. The collection contains Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun Dragonfall – Director’s Cut, and Shadowrun Hong Kong – Extended Edition.
Both games will be free to download until September 3, 2020. After the said date, the games will be replaced with Into The Breach by developer Subset Games. The game is a must-have for all fans of rogue-like games. This means Epic Games Store subscribers will have several great weeks ahead of them.
