Everything You Need To Know About Tomorrow’s Xbox Games Showcase Extended

Xbox and Bethesda staged their first-ever combined E3 expo last week, showcasing a slew of new games and giving updates on some of both companies’ most eagerly awaited projects. The conference was jam-packed with big announcements, from Arkane Studios’ new multiplayer vampire game Redfall to a first look at Forza Horizon 5, which will take the franchise to Mexico. However, it appears that Microsoft isn’t done talking about the Xbox Series X’s future.

The firm will host a second event tomorrow called the Xbox Games Showcase Extended, but fans shouldn’t anticipate a duplicate of what they saw at E3. There aren’t any fresh announcements expected during the presentation. Instead, watch Parris Lilly of Gamer Tag Radio and Kinda Funny Xcast get down with some of Microsoft’s largest studios to discuss their forthcoming projects.

343 Industries from Halo Infinite, Double Fine from Psychonauts 2, Playground Games from Forza Horizon 5, and Rare from Sea of Thieves are among the names engaged in the presentation, which will air at 10:00 a.m. PT.

Even a team that was conspicuously absent from E3 will make an appearance. Ninja Theory, the creators of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, will speak with Lilly, presumably to give fans an update on the long-awaited sequel to Senua’s Sacrifice.

Since Hellblade 2’s unveiling at the 2019 Game Awards, we’ve seen a few glimpses of the game and the production behind it, but the studio hasn’t spoken much about how development is going, so it’ll be fascinating to hear what it has to say.

Obsidian, which just confirmed it’s developing on a sequel to The Outer Worlds, is another intriguing addition to the list. The company is also hard at work on Avowed, which fans first saw last year, so it may explain how the fantasy RPG’s production is progressing. It’s important to keep expectations in control since the showcase will most likely focus on delivering more specifics for the showcased games at the showcase last Sunday.

Microsoft provided an early peek at various new first-party and third-party games, including Halo Infinite, Stalker 2, Psychonauts 2, Sommerville, and more, for anyone who missed the jam-packed E3 event.

Fans got their first good glimpse into the universe of Starfield during the presentation, which included an in-engine teaser for the title and release date. Todd Howard claims that the newest Bethesda Game Studios game will feature wide space travel, exotic creatures, interplanetary cities, and more when it launches in November 2022 for Xbox Series X and PC.
