Famous luxury fashion brand Jimmy Choo has inked a partnership with the iconic anime and manga series “Sailor Moon” to showcase a collection of shoes, bags, and more. Fans are loving it thus far.
“Our exclusive collaboration – celebrating the 30th anniversary of the iconic manga series – champions Jimmy Choo and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon’s shared values; genre-defying creativity, bold individuality and female empowerment,” Jimmy Choo said on their official website.
The catalog includes bags and heeled shoes for Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus.
The Jimmy Choo x “Sailor Moon” boots have also been featured on the cover of Wonderland China magazine’s February 2023 issue.

Sandra Choi, the creative director at Jimmy Choo, developed the collection to pay respect and tribute to “Sailor Moon” creator Naoko Takeuchi’s vision and her work’s effect on modern pop culture.
The standout pieces in the collection are the vibrant boots, platforms, and pumps inspired by the pastel hues of the Sailor Scouts. The collab also features some beautiful bags and an album of Sailor Moon-inspired songs compiled by Honey Dijon.
And to further celebrate the collection, artworks from Takeuchi’s Lovely Guardian Sailor Moon will be displayed on the walls of Jimmy Choo’s flagship stores worldwide.
“Sailor Moon” is an anime based on a manga series written and illustrated by Takeuchi. The story follows the adventures of a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino as she transforms into the eponymous character to look for a magical artifact, the “Legendary Silver Crystal.” She leads a group of comrades, called the Sailor Soldiers and Sailor Guardians in the later editions, as they fight against villains to prevent the Silver Crystal’s theft and the solar system’s destruction.
