Far Cry 6 PC System Requirements Announced

The release of Far Cry 6 is rapidly approaching. Despite several delays during its production period, it appears that fans will soon be able to play the Ubisoft title. The creators have offered fans a glimpse at the PC system requirements for the next entry in the series, with the release date little over a month away.

One of the advantages of playing the game on a PC is that the settings may be tweaked to make the game operate on a variety of systems. In light of this, Ubisoft has revealed the Far Cry 6 minimum, recommended, and extreme PC system requirements.

Minimum Requirements for 1080p 30 fps Low Preset

  • AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel Core i5-4460

Because they only require a first-generation Ryzen 3 or fourth-generation Haswell Core i5 CPU, the lowest graphics settings should be a feasible choice for a number of players. Furthermore, most gaming GPUs produced in the last several years should be able to run the game. However, playing the game on the lowest possible settings isn’t for everyone.

Far Cry 6 incorporates a number of next-gen technology, such as DirectX Raytracing and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution, that are becoming increasingly common in the industry. Players will need a significantly more capable PC to experience these new features at playable frame rates.

Unfortunately, some gamers may find it more difficult to fulfill these system requirements and play games like Far Cry 6 at high settings. New graphics cards are still hard to come by, therefore Ubisoft recommends an AMD Radeon RX 6800 or Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 if you want to play the game at extreme settings.

Many vendors are still experiencing computer part shortages as customers try to obtain the latest technology for their gaming setups. Chip shortages in the IT industry are expected to continue through 2023, according to Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger.

The imminent release of Far Cry 6 will add to the gaming frenzy for the final three months of 2021. Fans can expect an exciting conclusion to the year as a number of big studios prepare to release some of their most popular titles. Aside from Ubisoft’s open-world first-person shooter, popular titles like Halo Infinite, Battlefield 2042, and Call of Duty: Vanguard are set to arrive by the end of the year.
