Fortnite Celebrating Fourth Anniversary With Exclusive Event

Fortnite’s fourth birthday is being celebrated in true Fortnite style, which includes cosmetics, bright colors, a merch drop, and plenty of virtual dancing. The event is now live, and it comes with a range of tasks and awards, some of which give players a good reason to throw things.

Players must toss four Birthday Presents and dance in front of four Cakes as part of the Fortnite Birthday Quests. Gamers must also devour Birthday Cake during various matches and collect resources from balloon decorations 50 times in total.

Because there’s a Cake for almost every listed site of interest on the map, finding the huge Cakes that players are intended to dance in front of will entail visiting places of interest all over the map. However, rather than actively seeking out the small cubes, it may be better for players to play the game as usual and let Birthday Presents find them.

As part of the Fortnite 2021 birthday celebration, players who perform well will get Gold Bars and three distinct cosmetics. The 4 Me??? Back Bling, the Hooplah Hammer Pickaxe, and the 4? Score Emoticon are the cosmetics in dispute.

Before the event concludes on September 28 at 2 a.m. ET, players have four days to complete the tasks and collect the rewards. A new Venom skin, a collaboration with luxury fashion house Balenciaga, and Season 8 dubbed the Cubed event are new additions to Fortnite.

It might be claimed that the fact that so many events are taking place at the same time is due to Fortnite’s birthday celebrations. According to at least one reliable leaker, developers are working on another surprise for Fortnite gamers: a sliding mobility mechanism that might revolutionize how the game is played.

Fortnite gamers appear to be happy with Fortnite’s fourth birthday celebration. However, some players have mentioned prior skins and cosmetics that they’d want to see reintroduced as part of the celebration. In contrast, others have taken to Twitter to vent their dissatisfaction with the Birthday Quests.

Even though only one of those characters is currently integrated in Fortnite, one fan chose to commemorate the big day with a cake that depicts both Venom and Spider-Man.

The cake did not include Carnage, who had previously appeared in Fortnite.
