As most of you know by now, Genshin Impact is a gacha game and Primogems are needed if you want to obtain excellent Wish rolls for characters and weapons.
It can take a while for you to obtain a substantial amount of Primogems through normal grinding, but miHoYo wants to help you out with that by releasing a new promo code that will reward you with free Primogems.
By entering this code on Genshin Impact’s official website, you will be able to receive 30 Primogems for free. Keep in mind though that the code can only be redeemed for every account, and we expect that it will only be available for a limited time only. As such, we highly recommend that you take advantage of the code as soon as possible.
Every region will have a different code, so make sure you’re inputting the correct one. North American players can use the code GENSHINMHY0M, European players can use GENSHINMHY0O, while players on the SEA server can make use of the code GENSHINMHY0I.
You can then go to the last tab on Genshin Impact’s official website so that you can redeem the code.
That being said, these Primogems are good for various things. As mentioned, having a certain amount of Primogems allows you to perform Wish rolls, which is how you obtain certain weapons and characters.
Aside from that though, these can be used to not only refill Original Resin, but you can also use them to purchase Acquaint and Intertwined Fate via Paimon’s Bargains. It’s definitely safe to say that players wouldn’t want to be without this very important resource.
Once you have successfully redeemed the promo code and received your Primogems, you can proceed to purchase whatever you want using your new gems, since there are no specifications as to what you can or cannot buy with them.
Of course, Primogems can always be found by normally playing the game with the help of Genesis Crystals and Commissions. However, if you’re tired of grinding for this resource, you can also fork over real-world currency in order to purchase either a battle pass or a monthly card.
That being said, it’s definitely risky to spend money on addictive gacha games such as Genshin Impact, so we highly recommend that you take note of how much you’ve been spending on the game.
Another way for you to obtain Primogems is by opening chests in Genshin Impact’s world, or via the Adventurer Handbook. Doing tasks that help increase your Adventure Rank also leads to you earning more Primogems and consequently, more Wish rolls.
For now, miHoYo hasn’t revealed just how long these promo codes will be available. Although, it’s probably worth mentioning that in order for you to redeem promo codes, your Genshin Impact account needs to at least be an Adventure Rank 10. If you’re below that rank, then redeeming the codes will not be possible for you.
Raising your Adventure Rank is easy enough though, as all you have to do is go on different quests and complete them successfully.
