1. Artifacts

In “God of War Ragnarök,” Artifacts are more than what they mean in real life. They’re valuable items that glow in purple color when Kratos gets near them. Each can be sold for some Hacksilver. There are two types of Artifacts:

• A series of Artifacts you can find in just one Realm
• Kvasir’s Poems found in several Realms

• Midgard: The Lost Treasure – Found in the Lake of Nine, by the Jötunheim Tower
• Alfheim: Alfheim’s Greatest Treasure – Found in the Light Elf Sanctuary
• Vanaheim: The Talisman of the Vanir- Found in the Vanir Shrine area after defeating the enemies
• Svartalfheim: The Dwarven Hammer- Found near the Muspelheim Tower on a platform
• Niflheim: The Frost Giant’s Legacy – Found in the central area of the Frozen Caves

• Midgard: A Poet’s Tale – Chapter 1 – Found near the eastern shore of the Lake of Nine
• Alfheim: A Poet’s Tale – Chapter 2 – Found hidden in the Light Elf Sanctuary behind a puzzle

2. Lore

The second type of Collectible in the game is the Lore. Lore are Runes, Scrolls, and Stone Markers Kratos can read so he can learn more about the Realm and its inhabitants. Reading them provides additional XP.

3. Buried Treasure

A subset of Lore, Buried Treasure comes in two parts:

• The Treasure Map you find, tracked as Lore
• The Buried Treasure itself, tracked as a distinct Collectible

Each Map has a photo and a clue written on where the Buried Treasure is. Usually, this is in the same Realm.

4. Odin’s Ravens

These are spectral birds of green color acting as Odin’s set of eyes and ears across the Realms. You won’t be rewarded for killing a bird of this kind, but reaching certain milestones unlocks the Legendary Chests at The Raven Tree’s base in Niflheim.

Meanwhile, these are puzzle-based Chests asking you to locate three Runes nearby and interact with them one way or another. Interactions include destroying Idols, ringing Bells, or lighting Torches. There are rewards such as Health increase.
