Since game developer Blizzard Entertainment launched the very first “Diablo” game in 1997, the series has undergone to so many changes. Of course, just like in any aspect of life, “change is the only constant,” as they say. These changes will add up to the excitement of playing the game. 

The most recent “Diablo” game, launched only last June 5th, is introducing several changes that break the tradition of the long-standing franchise. Some of these changes are superficial, while others are controversial, sparking rage from the fans. Here are some of the biggest changes in “Diablo IV.” If you are not yet updated on these changes, it’s best to read on. 

1. Target Farming Uniques Removed

Blizzard Entertainment just recently announced the taking down of target farming Uniques. “Diablo IV” players can no longer target farm specific armor and weapon slots, though the developer has enabled Uniques in Helltide Cheses once again. 

This has caused an uproar among gamers, who are disappointed about this recent change. 

SirCheeks, a forumer on the official forum of Blizzard Entertainment, expressed their dismay. 

“This whole shako thing is done and over with. The only real problem I have with the whole thing is now we can’t target farm Uniques. Back to grinding nightmare dungeons for hours upon hours, hoping something you want will drop,” SirCheeks posted. “I know this is just ‘Diablo,’ but why can’t we talk about improvements to Diablo? With the lack of real endgame content, there needs to be some method to the madness. Having helltide chests drops Uniques was such a great step in the right direction. Now it’s gone.”

Others, like another forumer, Mizar, seconded that thought, saying there was “no reason to remove target farming” from the game. 

“Cuz the dev team are a bunch of out of touch, arrogant lazy scammer,” exclaimed forumer ViCelerity, meanwhile, about this change. 

Here are other big changes in “Diablo IV.”

2. Couch Co-Op Reduced

The reduction of couch co-op has also angered “Diablo IV” gamers. The last game in the series allowed four players to jam on the same television, but “Diablo IV” now only allows two players. 

However, as a consolation, a four-player co-op is still available online. Also, co-op players can get their own inventory menus and storefronts when in town, reducing a lot of the waiting time in multiplayer mode.

3. The Game Is Now Always Online

The game is now permanently online. Like it or hate it? Many “Diablo IV” players hate it. Online integration has always been a significant part of the series since the very beginning, but being online has never been required constantly before this change. As gamers are inching closer and closer to the launch of “Mortal Kombat 12,” or “Mortal Kombat 1,” actually as the game is officially called, more juicy details are being revealed about what people can expect from the game. 

Among these is the official confirmation that Homelander of the hit comic book, “The Boys,” is coming to the game. We’re serious.

Homelander is the leader of The Seven, the strongest Supe anywhere in the world, and The Boys’ leader’s, Billy Butcher’s, archenemy. Homelander has the face of a movie star and a power of a god. His superpowers include flying, super hearing, super strength, and super durability. With his X-ray vision, he can also see through anything except for zinc. Plus, he can burn and cut through stuff by shooting a red beam of heat energy from his eyes. Sounds familiar? Sounds like Superman? Well, Homelander is actually the parody of Superman and Captain America.

He is one of the characters in “The Boys,” a superhero TV series screened on Amazon Prime Video. It is based on the popular comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. It tells the story of an eponymous team of vigilantes as they battle with superpowered individuals who abuse their superpowers.

The accidental announcement

Well, Homelander will be part of the upcoming “Mortal Kombat 1.” It has officially been confirmed by accident. Quite exciting – and interesting, right? 

Just a few days ago, it was revealed that Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir are coming to “Call of Duty: Warzone.” They are already available in the “Season 4 Reloaded” update. 

This announcement happened on “The Boys’” TikTok account, which also, apparently, paved the way for the accidental announcement about Homelander’s inclusion in “Mortal Kombat 1.” Here’s what happened.

In the TikTok video announcing the “Call of Duty” crossover, someone asked whether there will be a possible collaboration with “Mortal Kombat” as well. Whether they wanted to say it or not, the official account responded, saying, “MK confirmed,” then followed this up by adding, “Homelader will be available at some point. That’s all we can say.”

What a collaboration.

Characters, plot

Last May, “Mortal Kombat 1” also unveiled the new characters in the game. These include Kitana, Kung Lao, Fire God Liu Kang, Mileena, Raiden, Scorpion, Shang Tsung, and Sub-Zero.

The new official trailer also revealed what gamers can expect from its story. It appears that the canon ending for the “Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath” expansion is the one wherein Liu Kang builds a new universe. In spite of Liu Kang eliminating Shang Tsung in that ending, nonetheless, the longtime villain of the game has somehow returned in “Mortal Kombat 1.”

That month, she revealed her disease via her Twitter account. She posted, “Hi everyone, I’ve recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (cancer).”

During that time, she also said that she would undergo treatment but is unsure how her body will react to the treatment. 

Messages of support from her fans poured in after this announcement. For instance, netizen @Asunaa said, “If you need anyone, always here for you and wishing you a healthy recovery. Don’t feel too pressured to stream or anything, take your time. We are all here for you. (heart emoji)” 

The tweet of her announcement has already garnered more than 30 million views as of this time of writing.

About Kyedae’s Disease

Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow. This illness is considered the most common kind of acute leukemia among adults. This type of cancer usually worsens quickly if the patient is not treated immediately. Acute myeloid leukemia is also referred to as acute myelogenous leukemia and acute nonlymphocytic leukemia.

According to health experts, acute myeloid leukemia’s causes and risk factors include aging, previous cancer treatment, exposure to radiation, exposure to dangerous chemicals, smoking, and genetics, among others. 

Fever, bone pain, lethargy, fatigue, shortness of breath, pale skin, frequent infections, easy bruising, and unusual bleeding are the symptoms of acute nonlymphocytic leukemia.

Corpse Husband is an American YouTuber and musician who hails from San Diego, California. Audiences know him with his deep voice, playing “Among Us” with other YouTubers and Twitch streamers, and how horror narrations. 

He is also part of a community of YouTubers called Horror Narration Channels. He usually reads horror stories his subscribers sent or from Reddit subreddits.

As of this time of writing, his YouTube channel has already gained more than seven million subscribers. And counting. 

“I tell scary stories, mostly true ones, and you get scared. And I guess some people like that,” Corpse Husband said. 

The Various Instances Of Corpse Husband’s ‘Face Reveal’

Aside from the content they create, what makes these faceless streamers appealing is the curiosity they inject into fans dying to see their face. There would be “face reveals” occasionally, but in the end, their appearances are still unknown. 

In the part of Corpse Husband, here are some instances in which he “revealed” his face (but he actually did not).

For instance, in September 2021, a picture of him started making rounds on Twitter. Corpse Husband never commented on this leak (perhaps part of his publicity stunt), but fans, though they long to see him, said the person on the phone did not match the “images of himself” the YouTuber previously posted on other social media platforms like Instagram. 

Another instance wherein fans got a “glimpse” of Corpse Husband was in his YouTube interviews with another YouTuber, Anthony Padilla, in 2020 and 2021. Particularly, in his 2021 interview, Corpse Husband revealed that his identity has almost been foiled on various occasions. The interviewer, Padilla, then also claimed that he had the chance to meet the YouTuber in person. Interesting, but is it true?

He also said that he found various scary fan artworks that managed to “accurately capture what he looks like.” 

Another glimpse of his face came last April 2022 when Corpse Husband uploaded a video on his TikTok. The video was for his song, “POLTERGEIST!” which featured a shadow of his curls, as fans know them.

Later in that video, he was shown crouching in the middle of a road, but his iconic mask and hand still covered much of his face.

One Of The Recent ‘Face Reveals’

Just a few months ago, another “face reveal” of Corpse Husband happened. A YouTuber named ShamPee released a video titled “Why Corpse Husband Abandoned his Audience,” which also “revealed” the faceless streamer’s “real name and face.” This video garnered more than two million videos before being taken down by YouTube itself since it violated the platform’s harassment policy for content that brings in abusive behavior from fans, like doxxing.

Corpse Husband’s fans also lambasted ShamPee, saying they did not like him invading the faceless YouTuber’s privacy. ShamPee later apologized to Corpse Husband after learning that YouTube itself had taken the video down. 

Those are some of the instances Corpse Husband’s face has been “revealed.” But still, what’s official is that he has never revealed his face yet. The mysterious guy behind several viral content will continue.
