1. ‘Berserk’

After a tumultuous childhood, he finally finds somebody he respects and can trust, only to find everything falling apart when this somebody takes away all things important to him so they can fulfill their own desires. Now marked for death, this manga’s hero is condemned to a destiny in which demons relentlessly pursue him.

So, he sets out on a perilous journey riddled with misfortune, with just his giant sword and monstrous strength with him. But he won’t let anything stop him, not even death, as he goes one step closer to his aim to take revenge.

2. ‘Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood’

Set in a fictitious universe where alchemy is widely practiced, the story follows the adventures of two alchemist brothers, Edward and Alphonse Eric. They are on a quest to look for the philosopher’s stone so they can restore their bodies after a failed mission to resurrect their mom using alchemy.

3. ‘Steel Ball Run’

The seventh story arc of another manga series titled “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” “Steel Ball Run” is set in the United States in 1890, featuring the characters Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli, a paraplegic ex-jockey who wants to regain the use of his legs, and a disgraced ex-executioner who intends to win amnesty for a kid on death row, respectively.

Both of them compete in Steel Ball Run, a cross-country horse race, hoping to win the $50 million grand prize. However, they find themselves amid a threat after realizing the hidden agenda of the race’s sponsor.

4. ‘Vagabond’

Occurring in Japan during the 1500s, when Europe was in the Renaissance period, a wild, rough young man physically and in his actions, Shinmen Takezou, is feared in their village. Together with his best friend, Matahachi Honiden, they run away from the village to seek something grander and more fulfilling than provincial life.

They then find themselves enlisting in the Toyotomi army, yearning for glory. However, when the army suffers a crushing defeat at the hands of the Tokugawa clan at the Battle of Sekigahara, they barely make it out alive.

Eventually, they separate paths, so Takezou returns home on a self-appointed mission to inform the Hon’iden family of his best friend’s survival. But, in a sudden turn of events, he instead finds himself a criminal being pursued by authorities, believed to be behind his friend’s supposed murder.

He gets captured, strung up on a tree, and left to die. Then, you have a distinguished and itinerant monk named Takuan Soho who secretly frees Takezou and christens him with a new name to escape the authorities’ wrath.

5. ‘Vinland Saga’

The story of “Vinland Saga” is the dramatization of the story of Thorfinn Karlsefni, an Icelandic explorer, and his expedition to seek Vinland, an area in North America, with the story telling his fictional counterpart’s transition from a revenge-stricken and bloodthirsty teenager into a pacifistic young guy, juxtaposed against King Canute’s rise to power. King Canute is king of England and Denmark in real-life.

6. ‘One Piece’

Created by Eiichiro Oda, “One Piece” follows the adventures of pirate-king Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, in their journey to explore the Grand Line to find the titular mythical treasure and be the next King of the Pirates.

7. ‘Monster’

The story starts with a renowned Japanese neurosurgeon named Kenzou Tenma, who works in post-war Germany. Now, he is faced with a difficult choice: to operate on orphaned boy Johan Liebert, who is on the verge of death, or Düsseldorf’s mayor. In the end, Tenma chooses to stake his reputation by saving Liebert, and the consequence is that the mayor dies.

As a result of his choice, Udo Heinemann, a hospital director, strips Tenma of his title with the director’s daughter Eva breaking off their engagement. Shunned and disgraced by his colleagues, Tenma loses all hope of having a successful career until Udo dies mysteriously.

Nine years later, Tenma becomes head of the hospital’s surgical department, almost the director, the position held by Udo. But, he becomes entangled in a chain of murders that have transpired throughout Germany. The culprit? The monster that Tenma saved nine years ago.

8. ‘Hunter X Hunter’

The story begins with Gon Freecss, a young boy who finds out that his dad, who abandoned him at a very young age, is actually a famous Hunter. Hunters are licensed professionals who specialize in the pursuit of rare and unidentified species, treasure hunting, hunting down lawless people, and surveying uncharted enclaves.

Now, he wants to become like his father, a Hunter, in the hopes that he’ll be able to find him again, too. Along his adventure, he meets other Hunters and even encounters the paranormal.

‘Pokémon Scarlet And Violet’ Guides: Catching Every Titan Pokémon

0

Behemoth is the perfect term to describe Titan Pokémons. They’re precisely what they sound like. They are ordinary Pokémons who consumed Herba Mystica, turning them into giants.

In the “Pokémon Scarlet and Violet” game, there are five Titan Pokémons. It is not difficult to catch them. It just appears it is because comparing the size of your Poké Ball and those Titan Pokémons, you get the picture. Here’s your guide to catching every Pokémon of this kind in the game.

Klawf, the Stone Cliff Titan

Strange as it may sound, this Rock-type Pokémon has several vulnerabilities. Despite its gigantic size, right? Among its vulnerabilities are Fighting-, Grass-, Steel-, Ground-, and Water-type moves, but all super effective.

You can spot Klawf in the South Province Area Three’s rocky areas, west of Artazon, not Arizona. This pocket monster usually scuttles on the ground but will also attach itself to cliffs. When it sees a Trainer approaches, it drops down.

Bombirdier, the Open Sky Titan

This Pokémon is of the Dark- and Flying-type, which means it also has weaknesses. To topple it, use the Rock-, Ice-, Electric-, and Fairy-type moves. It also has dual-typing capabilities that cancel out its weaknesses, so avoiding using them is ideal.

Find a Bombirdier around the West Province Area One. However, the easiest place to find this creature is along the beaches of Paldea’s southwestern region. It can be seen flying over the sea in the daytime along the region’s coast.

Orthworm, the Lurking Steel Titan

Interestingly enough, Orthworm is Steel-type, which means you cannot use Ground-type moves against it since it possesses the “Earth Eater” ability, urging it to absorb Ground-type moves as HP. It is weak against Fighting- and Fire-type Pokémons.

Proceed to the deserts of the East Province Area Three or the Asado Desert in the west to find Orthworm. Being patterned after worms, it is usually buried underground with just its face visible. Upon seeing a Trainer, it burrows further down and is inaccessible as this happens, but fear not. Simply stand in place, wait for it to reappear, and catch it.

Great Tusk And Iron Treads, the Quaking Earth Titans

In “Scarlet,” you’ll be catching Great Tusk, the Ground- and Fighting-type Pokémon. In “Violet,” you’ll be catching Iron Treads, a Ground- and Steel-type Pokémon.

You can catch them in the Asado Desert or the lower levels of Area Zero. These areas are very accessible, making it easy to do so.

Dondozo and Tatsugiri, the False Dragon Titan

Though they’re labeled False Dragon Titans, they don’t look like dragons at all. They are just Water-type, so hammer into them with Electric- and Grass-type moves.

Find Tatsugiri in the water and the shores around Casseroya Lake, which is found in Paldea’s western region. Tatsugiri has three colors and various abilities in battle when combined with Dondozo. Find them on and around the easternmost islands of the Lake.

Your Complete Guide To ‘God Of War Ragnarök New Game Plus’

0

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Santa Monica Studio are eradicating all doubts that “God of War Ragnarök” can be boring. That’s because they have launched the “New Game Plus” mode since April 2023, making gamers play more. To ensure you’re ready, here’s a complete guide to everything you should know.

‘God Of War Ragnarök New Game Plus’ Overview

Released as a free update, the “God of War Ragnarök New Game Plus,” or NG+ mode, is a post-endgame mode unlocked as an option in the main menu upon completing the game’s main story, regardless of the difficulty.

After this mode has been unlocked, you can begin a new game with items and stats already carried over from your latest save. Several things exclusive to this mode have also been added, such as Armor, Enchantments, Resources, and Weapon Attachments, among others. Here’s a glance.

How It Works

“NG+ Plus” also says you can replay the whole game while keeping everything you got unlocked from a previous playthrough, allowing you access to more of the “God of War Ragnarök’s” world and all your equipment from the start. Please take it as a way of rewarding you after completing the game.

To start this mode, you must finish the game’s main story first, which is by completing the The Realms at War quest. Once done, you will see “New Game Plus” listed on the main menu.

Saves under this are marked with a horizontal red light beneath the save name. Pick it, and the game will ask you to select a save on which the “NG Plus” will be based. Only saves from those who have completed the The Realms at War quest will be eligible for this.

Then, you will be asked to use one of the Manual New Game Data slots to start with, then pick your difficulty. Remember that this mode uses the existing difficulty settings.

What’s New?

Armor And Weapons

All weapons, armor, equipment, and skills will be carried over, save for the Sonic and Hex arrows. The Draupnir Spear will also be included, but you cannot use its traversal abilities and status as Special Equipment.

There are also new armor sets added. Furthermore, existing armor sets are given brand-new cosmetic appearances to swap between. Be sure to check out the Spartan Aspis, a new shield.

Brand-New Enchantments

Moreover, new enchantments are available for sale. Use Gilded Coils to purchase those enchantments. Also, the “God of War Ragnarök” Berserkers will drop new enchantments.

Leveling And Progressing Up

Under this mode, the level cap has been increased. You can now convert equipment from Level 9 to Plus versions, improving them and furthering your progression.

Upon converting your equipment to “NG+” versions, you’ll be given a Gilded Coin you can use to purchase new enchantments from the Huldra Brothers. Use your XP to upgrade skill mode tokens. Don’t forget to look at the Labors and Ratatasks progress for new Platinum Tier rewards, as well as Yggdrasil Dew from Nornir Chests.

Niflheim

There’s the Niflheim training arena, which means new enemies to battle with. In this arena, you can play either Atreus or Kratos. Then, choose from a varied range of companions to fight with.

Enemies And Bosses

However, boss fights are more challenging in this mode. The Hateful and Ormstunga bosses have also been bestowed with new abilities and movesets.

Plus, the Give Me No Mercy or Give Me God of War difficulties bosses now have Runic armor. Lastly, enemies can become “elite” and increase their power level in those difficulties.

Graphics And Cinematics

In New Game Plus, you may skip the cinematics. For design geeks, you can make the game appear monochromatic by altering the render more in the Graphics and Camera settings.

That’s every basic information you need to know about the “New Game Plus” mode. Take it as a way of motivating you to finish the main “God of War Ragnarök.” Have fun.

Low Sales Probably The Reason Some ‘Resident Evil’ Games On iOS Now Require Internet Connection

0

For a while, players of “Resident Evil 4 Remake” and “Resident Evil 7” were able to enjoy these games on iOS mobiles – until a recent change from the game’s developers caught them off guard. Now, news reports are saying an Internet connection is required for you to be able to play those games on your iOS gadgets.

Connect to the Internet first

The launch of the compatibilities of some “Resident Evil” games, such as “Resident Evil 4 Remake,” “Residential Evil Village,” and “Resident Evil 7,” on iOS gadgets, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, have wowed gamers. This means they can play their favorite “Resident Evil” titles even while away from their computers or PlayStations, such as when on a long flight or inside the bus.

Unfortunately, game developer Capcom has placed a limit and reportedly said iOS handset owners can no longer play these games without an Internet connection.

This news was revealed on the r/iosgaming subreddit with a member sharing this screenshot:

The Redditor quoted Capcom saying, “Due to changes to the startup process, an Internet connection is now required when starting this app.”

There are no popular reports saying if this is an official Capcom announcement, but as for the reason for this decision, news outlets are saying it is because of low sales. Read on to find out.

Low sales as the reason?

News agencies are saying that “Resident Evil” games like “7” failed to cross $30,000 in sales, which is surprising because the game received solid praise and good reviews.

It is confusing because if sales are the reason for this decision, why will Capcom enact restrictions that will reduce the number of gamers playing the games?

Also, even iPad owners and gamers may be affected by this change. For now, “Resident Evil” gamers who wish to play the games on their iOS gadgets away from home may abide by this ruling until there are new developments.

A Quick Look At The Teams In ‘Pokémon GO’

0

The Pokémon franchise has grown so much that, for instance, in Pokémon games like “Pokémon GO,” you’ll encounter things you don’t see in the original anime. In the anime, you may only be familiar with Team Rocket, but in “GO,” three teams are existing. You will take a quick look at these teams in this piece.

The 3 Teams In ‘Pokémon GO’

1. Team Instinct

Color: Yellow

Mascot: Zapdos

Leader: Spark

Beginning with Team Instinct. As its name implies, this Team is focused on the instincts and the natural intuition of Pokémons. Headed by Spark, this team studies the connection between the pocket monsters’ instincts and, odd as it may sound, how they’re hatched from eggs.

Believe it or not, every Team in “Pokémon GO” also has their own personality. Team Instinct, for one, is known for its freewheeling, laissez-faire attitude, complementing Spark’s erratic and whimsical nature.

Therefore, it is just right for this Team to have the brightly colored Pokémon Zapdos as its official mascot.

2. Team Mystic

Color: Blue

Mascot: Articuno

Leader: Blanche

Blue is the color of royalty, and being such, Team Mystic is royalty with a bit of mystique, sort of. If your pocket monster is calm, cerebral, and analytic, then Team Mystic is what fits them. Its leader, Blanche, reflects the team’s personality – calculated and loves to examine the wisdom of every monster, as well as fascinated with the process of evolution. The team mascot is the cool and chilly Articuno, carrying its colors and branding.

3. Team Valor

Color: Red

Mascot: Moltres

Leader: Candela

For those who believe in and are passionate about the inherent power of your Pokémons, Team Valor is the team to choose for your monster. You’ve got a fierce Team Leader, Candela, whose focus is on the strength and the pure-heartedness of Pokémons, believing that companionship is the secret formula to strengthen the relationship between Pokémons and their Trainers.

The Trainers of Team Valor, as its name implies, are characterized by limitless willpower, strength, and a formidable sense of conviction. They don’t easily give up, just like its mascot, Moltres.

#TeamInstinct, #TeamMystic, Or #TeamValor? Which Team Are You?

When you reach Level 5, you’ll have the opportunity to choose which team to join on “Pokémon GO,” but which should you pick? Read on.

Alright, there is really no best team. You can’t choose any of the three! But you must consider the fact that Team Mystic is the most popular, so there are more perks for your pocket monsters who are signed up for this team.

You may also place your Pokémons in the team that matches their strengths and then earn rewards.

Released in 2016, “Pokémon GO” is an augmented reality mobile game that is part of the official Pokémon franchise. This game is developed and published by Niantic in cooperation with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for Android and iOS devices. Try this game today.

‘Stardew Valley’: Avoid Growing These Crops During Fall – They’re The Worst

0

The autumn season is touted as the most special season in your favorite farm life simulation game, “Stardew Valley.” Being the most lucrative of all four seasons, you must take advantage of this to grow the best crops. But what about the crops to avoid? Unless you want to ruin your “Stardew” experience. Here’s the list.

PVP Live Recap: Best Crops For Fall

Before discussing which crops are the worst during fall in this game, let’s recap from our previous story. Which are the best crops?

The best crops to grow during fall are:

  • Sweet Gem Berry (best of the best) – Offers the highest selling price among all crops, making it the most lucrative option for autumn. It is ideal for maximizing profits during this season.
  • Pumpkin – Yields sizable profit margins, especially with the Tiller profession bonus. Essential for various community bundles, adding strategic value.
  • Cranberry – Produces several berries per harvest and quickly regrows, ensuring steady income throughout the season.
  • Fairy Rose – High-value flower, perfect as gifts and for Honey production, significantly boosting Honey’s selling price.
  • Grapes – Proliferate quickly and continue to produce fruit every three days after the initial harvest, offering steady income.
  • Artichoke – Provides a solid return on investment, has a moderate growth period, and has a high selling price.
  • Eggplant – Fast-growing and produces many harvests, making it an efficient crop for early and consistent profits.

Broccoli is another crop to grow during fall that was not included on our previous list. Now, let’s get to the list of the worst crops.

Worst Crops To Grow During Fall In ‘Stardew Valley’

Bok Choy

“Mediocre” is the best adjective for Bok Choy. So, just learning about that, you’d set this crop aside for now. But if you wish to know why it is the worst, read on.

First, it is not the most expensive seed. So, even if you can save money with it, it won’t give you lasting results, such as not providing the longest growth time. That said,  it also generates too minuscule a profit. Furthermore, the Bok Choy cannot be used in bundles, and the quests you access when you have this crop are limited.

It may be the preferred gift for some villagers, but it is just used for one recipe, the Super Meal. While Bok Choy isn’t at all terrible, it is bland, so you better let go of it.

Amaranth

Cool, despite its beautifully sounding name, the Amaranth is somewhat forgettable as a fall season crop. It is not at all terrible, but it isn’t great, believe us. Please don’t get hurt when we tell you it’s not super helpful, though it’s not useless throughout. Sure, you can earn profits if you grow it, but it will never lay the foundation for your “Stardew Valley” empire.

How about recipes you can make using Amaranth? Sure, you can cook Salmon Dinner, but this dish doesn’t offer the level of skill buffs that other dishes do. Meanwhile, for Marnie, you need to grow at least one piece of Amaranth. This villager requests it as part of a quest.

Amaranth is also not the best choice for profit. It is not the “worst” in every way, but there are better crops than it, not to mention Elliott hates it a lot.

Corn

Not to be corny here, but Corn is better set aside during fall. While you can use it as a multi-harvest and multi-season plant (a valuable asset, indeed), this crop won’t make huge profits during fall. In the real world, corns are harvested in summer.

Sure, you can use Corn to complete two standard bundles in the Community Center and a remixed crop, but it still has no valuable use. As for recipes, you can make some Tortillas or Cooking Oil from them, as in the real world, but you will still need other ingredients before arriving at those recipes.

As a gift? Well, lacking. Five villagers don’t like it, together with Pierre who despises it. In other words, it’s best not to grow Corn during fall and to refocus your energy on other better crops.

Sunflower

In the real world, Sunflowers are a summer season beauty. But, in “Stardew Valley,” don’t laugh when you hear this is one of the worst crops regardless of the season. Let’s start with the pros.

Regardless of the season you grow your Sunflower, it can turn in significant profits. Also, you’ll need it to complete a bundle in the “Stardew Valley” story, and it can be given as a gift. Haley loves to receive Corn as a gift.

However, there are cons. You cannot use it in any requests for cooking and even if you can use it to make Cooking Oil, you’ll save bucks if you purchase premade oil instead.

So, maybe say “Pass” for this plant for now, as it will just drain your fields and profits. However, they’re beautiful, and those who are after aesthetics can have them.

Coffee Beans

Tempting but deadly, Coffee Beans are not the most optimal crop because of their low base selling price and because they need you to wait for a lengthy processing before you can generate profits from it.

Sure, they can produce multiple harvests, but the effort you must exert to convert the Beans into Coffee for higher profits is not worth it compared with those for other crops, especially for those looking for quicker and higher returns from their farming efforts.

Conclusion

Immersing yourself in “Stardew Valley,” you will realize that Bok Choy, Amaranth, Corn, Sunflower, and Coffee Beans. This is because of their low profit margins and growth cycles that will keep you waiting. They also take up a massive portion of your farmland without giving significant and substantial returns, making them inefficient compared to other options. In other words, prioritize the more lucrative crops to optimize the productivity and profitability of your farm.

Too Violent, Promiscuous? Get To Know The Most Popular Video Games Rated For Adults Only

0

Adults only, otherwise pertained to as AO, is the highest rating in the ESRB system. The ESRB, or the Entertainment Software Rating Board, is a self-regulatory organization in charge of assigning age and content ratings to consumer video games in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The ESRB system indicates that the content of the video game you are playing is only for you if it matches your age. It rates games according to the age group allowed to play them. For instance, there’s the AO rating for adult video games, usually those with pornographic and too-sensitive content.

However, playing games rated for adults only can provide you with an experience that can satisfy your most profound pleasures, arousing your inner desires. Before heading to the most popular video games rated AO, here’s a quick look at the ESRB system.

The ESRB System

If you shop for video games, you won’t always pay attention to those letters in bold inside rectangular boxes on the corners of your game’s boxes. But it is vital always to check them to find out if the game you are playing is suitable for your age.

Today, there are three ESRB ratings:

  • Everyone (E) – Games rated this way mean they’re suitable for all ages, despite their mild violent content in animated or fantasy format present.
  • Everyone 10 (E 10) – Games with an E10 rating are great for children but only for those aged 10 and older. They may contain violence, language, and suggestive themes may be around.
  • Teen (T) – Games suitable for children aged 13 years and older since they may carry an infrequent use of strong language, realistic violent scenes, presence of blood, and crude humor.
  • Mature (M 17) – Games that only those aged 17 years old and above should play. They usually contain gore, sexual content, blood, intense violence, and abuse of pills.
  • Adults Only 18 (AO) – The strictest rating of the Board, these games are for players over 18. They may contain explicit violence, motiveless and random killings, graphic intercourse content, glorification of pills, and gambling.

You’ve learned about every ESRB rating in some games. In this piece, you’ll focus on knowing more about the AO or Adults Only 18 rating through a list of the most popular games rated this way. Let’s begin.

Today’s Most Popular Adults Only 18-Rated Games

1. ‘Riana Rouge’

Don’t be disappointed if this 1997 game doesn’t give you the same experience as other gory games like “Resident Evil” have.

This classic adults only video game features Gillian Bonner, the famous “Playboy” star, as the main character of its action-adventure narrative.

As you try “Riana Rouge,” you get to play the titular character, Riana. She is an average secretary attempting to interrupt and thwart the sexual assault of her boss committed on a female co-worker. Like Catwoman in the 1992 movie on the Caped Crusader, “Batman Returns,” you will get thrown out of a window only to reawaken as a mighty warrior in another dimension confronting real-life enemies in an authentically epic setting you won’t want to miss.

2. ‘Seduce Me The Otome’

The cover image of “Seduce Me the Otome” may suggest that it’s an innocent anime-inspired game, but there’s more to it. In this video game, you play as a senior high school with your best buddies, Suzu Cappini and Naomi Patterson. You’re also an heir as you are the granddaughter of the founder of Anderson Toys, a toy company that gives children fabulous products with the profits going to charitable institutions.

One day, you receive a call asking you to attend your grandpa’s funeral. After the gathering, you learn you have inherited his estate. Your dad suggests you move in immediately, so you grant their wishes the next day.

However, upon entering your new residence, you see five handsome yet injured men on the lobby floor. They wake up and tell you they got attacked by some “misfits” and ran to find shelter, passing out as they reached your new home.

Then, you realize they’re actually demons who prey on others’ sexual energies to “survive.” Now, how you’ll mingle and handle your newfound acquaintances is up to you.

3. ‘Thrill Kill’

It’s not because of too voyeur sexual themes that “Thrill Kill” is making its mark, but because of its graphic violence. It ranks high on lists of various AO games. So, here’s how it goes when you play this game.

Imagine yourself living in the depths of hell where a god, bored, conducts fighting tournaments for nine damned souls. Those souls all have naughty backgrounds. They are murderers, and this nature of them shows on the battlefield. Can you handle the action? Play “Thrill Kill” now and find out.

4. ‘Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered’

This game is the remastered version of “Fahrenheit,” known as “Indigo” in North America, where you get to know more about Lucas Kane, a man who yields to murder while being possessed by supernatural powers. Two police detectives start investigating the case as you try to live the life of Kane in a game that will challenge your perspectives on what’s wholesome and what’s not. Prepare to warp yourself to themes such as AI, modus operandi, military, crimes, and so much more.

5. ‘Hatred’

Just by reading that title, you know it is restricted for non-adults. Its developers ensure you will enjoy the storyline, which revolves around suffering from unbridled hate toward the planet and its people. It may sound too general, but when you know he will go by local town streets and slaughter everybody who gets in his way, you know this game will challenge your notions of what’s normal. Go ahead and play it.

Wrapping Up

To be honest, you can find more video games rated adults only around. If you continue this countdown, you will see other games in this category, including “Agony,” “Hatred,” “Singles: Flirt Up Your Life,” “The Punisher,” and “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas,” among many others. The list is practically endless.

However, playing adults only games is more than just the violence or the sexual themes. Some of the biggest benefits of experiencing video games with this rating are cognitive enhancement, stress relief and relaxation, cultural and social insight, creative expression and artistic appreciation, and informed decision-making. What a way to experience AO.

Best Animes Of The Fantasy Genre: From ‘Death Note’ To ‘No Game No Life’

0

Several arguments can be raised here. First, shows of the fantasy genre are not just animes. You are perhaps familiar with movies such as “The Lord of the Rings” and “Harry Potter” series, as well as your favorite Disney shows.

In anime, fantasy seems like an overarching concept. The list you’ll see here on this PVP Live guide features animes you’ve also read of in our previous stories. But with the genre that is anime overarching them. Take a look.

‘No Game No Life’

First on the list is a fantasy-themed anime that’s been a favorite worldwide, “No Game No Life.” What a stunning title. This show tells the story of genius and uber-intelligent gamer siblings, Shiro and Sora, who team up to be saviors of humanity in a world where games have settled everything.

Using their skills, the siblings outwit mythical beings and influential nations using the most cunning strategies. Then, they befriend the One True God, Tet, so they can, together, unite the people to challenge the divine races threatening their existence.

‘Attack On Titan’

This anime is a mainstay here on PVP Live. Why not? “Attack on Titan” is thrilling and will get you at the edge of your seat. You know that this anime tells the story of Shingashina resident Eren Yeager. Now, his town is protected by walls from Titans, as how walls protected Jericho city in the Bible.

Not only is his world devastated, but his family, too. Yeager’s mom gets eaten by a Titan, so there’s nothing he can do but avenge her death.

This intense anime show delves deeper into themes of sacrifice, survival, and the complexities of human nature in a world overrun by gigantic humanoid beings. With a gripping storyline, beautiful animation, and profound character development, “Attack on Titan” is a must-watch for those looking for dark narratives to provoke your deepest thoughts.

‘Hunter X Hunter’

We’ve also talked about “Hunter x Hunter” here. It tells the story of 12-year-old Gon Freecss, wanting to become someday a professional Hunter like his father, who he never met most of the time.

But, Freecss realizes that being a Hunter is marred by danger and intrigue despite being an exciting adventure. So, under the tutelage of Killua Zoldyck, a master assassin, as well as Kurapika and Leorio, our hero embarks on an adventure to seek his dad and uncover the mysteries shrouding the elite Hunters.

He then takes perilous quizzes and pursues dangerous outlaws, as these help him broaden his worldview and insights into life. But he realizes there’s a more significant threat before him. This pushes him and his allies to risk their lives just to protect the world from this threat.

‘That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime’

“That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime” is another must-watch fantasy anime. From the very beginning, this anime is screaming fantasy! It tells the story of Mikami Satoru, who gets stabbed and killed protecting a coworker, only to get reborn as a slime monster in a fantasy setting. Satoru’s new name as a slime is now Rimuru Tempest. Tempest then acquires new skills and forges alliances in their new world. They also manage to build a monster nation consisting of diverse creatures, defending the world from those who wish harm on it. We’re talking about vampire ninjas and demon lords. Vampires who are also ninjas and demons who are lords. Will Tempest succeed? You can find out when you stream this anime.

‘Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood’

Now, this anime is familiar to your older siblings or cousins. Go Ask them. In “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood,” you’ve got Edward and Alphonse Elric growing up with the guidance of their single mom, Trisha, since their biological dad, Hohenheim, left them when they were still young.

But Trisha dies eventually, so Winry and her grandmother take care of the brothers. While the grandma takes care of the brothers, they learn alchemy, hoping to use it to bring their mom back to life, only to learn something dark about their father.

This anime merges together action, emotions, and philosophy. Its story and characters check all the right boxes. Appealing without getting monotonous. Spot themes like sacrifice, redemption, and the outcomes of ambition.

‘Overlord’

The story of “Overlord” begins when Yggdrasil, a renowned virtual reality game, shuts down. Thus, guild master Momonga, whose look will remind you of the skulls in Mexico’s Día de los Muertos festival, stays logged in until the end. But, surprisingly for them, he finds his avatar transformed into his character in the real world. Plus, his fellow guild members also go astray.

This is why the main protagonist sets out to investigate this mysterious and devastating new world. Determined to locate other players of the game, they adopt the name Ainz Ooal Gown (who carries the frightening skull look) while extending their dominance and influence over the land.

‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba’

Don’t be surprised if we tell you a lot about “Demon Slayer,” as it is also one of the greatest animes ever produced worldwide. Tanjiro Kamado, our hero, finds out that demons have slaughtered his family. While his sister, Nezuko, gets spared, she is turned into a demon.

To seek justice for these atrocities, he signs up for the Demon Slayer Corps under the tutelage of Sakonji Urokodaki, an experienced swordsman. Kamado forms allies and goes on risky missions, but all to slay the demons that killed his family.

‘Death Note’

“Death Note” is that anime that has given rise to various merchandise. Shirts, mugs, bags, name it. This anime starts in Tokyo, where a high schooler named Light Yagami stumbles upon the Death Note, a notebook that kills everybody whose name and face are known to the notebook’s owner and writer. Now, Yagami takes on adventures to learn more about the Death Note, until… spoilers ahead… he dies.

This thought-provoking and exciting show is perfect for those who wish to explore themes of justice and power. It makes you bravely question what’s right and what’s wrong. Go ahead and stream it now.

More great fantasy animes are “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War,” “One Piece,” “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End,” and “Black Clover.”

In other words, fantasy animes have changed viewing experiences. They’re actually quite a central, overarching theme, together with action, comedy, and drama, among others – unlike gacha or slice-of-life animes, which are not as big as those stated previously.

If you’re tired of watching animes that don’t pierce through your heart and emotions, you can explore the magical world of fantasy anime shows.

‘Madden NFL 25’ Guides: How To Throw A Lob Pass

0

The “Madden NFL” game series is probably the greatest American football simulation video game ever made.

In real-world American football, there’s the technique known as the lob pass or that which is characterized by a higher arc and allows the ball to travel over defenders and into a receiver’s hand.

It’s pretty much the same in “Madden NFL.” The in-game lob pass is practically useful when the receiver is in a complex, contested situation with a defender, as it gives the receiver a better chance to make their play on the ball.

If you want to experience throwing a lob pass in “Madden NFL 25” like how it is in real-life football, here’s the guide for you.

What Is A Lob Pass In ‘Madden NFL 25’?

A lob pass in “Madden NFL 25” often gives you an unexpected advantage and edge when attempting to score your runners a few yards more.

Compared with the more popular bullet pass, the lob pass is characterized by more air behind it, though it has lower velocity. This allows it to traverse in a loopy fashion but with more air time. At first, it might seem a disadvantage, but you’ll realize how beneficial it is as you move along in the game.

How To Perform A Lob Pass

So, let’s not stall you any longer. Performing a lob pass is simple regardless of which passing mechanism you use. Believe us.

You simply need to tap the icon of the player you wish the pass to land. Plain and simple, right?

But remember. Avoid overpressing, or you will yield to performing the touch or a bullet pass. Not what you want. Give a sweet tap. After all, this isn’t about control, but it’s about proper timing.

When Should You Throw A Lob Pass?

Speaking of timing, there are moments when a lob pass works and when it doesn’t, even if you make it right. Usually, your runner, the one supposed to receive the ball, must be well ahead of the person marking him. If the defender is nearby, making a slow pass is pointless.

The lob pass is ideal when you wish your receiver to get the ball in an advanced position from where they are while making the pass. But also, think of the defense well. Use this pass when you are trying to push your offense actively. Additionally, you may opt for this kind of pass if you’ve got receivers in your team with superb jumping abilities.

There are times when the defense is more powerful, intercepting the lob pass. In these instances, you shouldn’t aim for a lob pass since the results can be unpleasant when overdone. Practice makes perfect.

From EA Orlando and EA Sports, “Madden NFL 25” is the latest video game that allows you to experience the NFL as if you are a professional athlete. Play it now on PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, and PC. As the game says, “dominate the gridiron like a bonafide Madden NFL superstar.”

Season 3 Of ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Is Coming Your Way! Here’s Everything You Must Know

0

“Jujutsu Kaisen” is undoubtedly one of the best animes ever created. Now, fans are in for a treat as a brand-new third season is coming their way.

The second blockbuster season grabbed headlines, of course, as it was an impeccable rollercoaster ride filled with overwhelmingly unbelievable action, gore, and shocking twists you won’t see in other animes.

Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming Season 3.

Story

The story is one of the first things anime fans look forward to whenever a brand-new season is announced. Well, “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3 is confirmed to adapt the Culling Games arc in the manga.

The Culling Game – not the Hunger Games – is a Battle Royale that takes place between the most formidable Jujutsu sorcerers devised by Kenjaku.

The upcoming third season will follow through from the Shibuya Incident, that which sees Suguru Geto and Mahito wanting to seal away Satoru Goju for good.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to their ultimate design. As a veil envelops the Tokyo special ward, the likes of Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro help turn the tide against the enemies.

Meanwhile, Choso, a supporting character and the third Death Painting sibling, attempted to seek vengeance against Itadori but stopped short of killing Itadori after seeing visions of his brother and Itadori himself.

This Incident also produced casualties, such as the seriously wounded and presumed deceased Nobara Kugisaki, and Kento Nanami who died at the hands of Mahito.

At the end of this arc, Geto and Kenjaku are seen awakening various non-sorcerers as a way to have sorcerers and non-sorcerers kill one another. This arc also tells about Satoru Gojo being excommunicated from the Jujutsu society while Itadori is sentenced to death with Yuta Okkotsu as the executioner.

With those being said, you know that the Culling Games arc will be as thrilling as the previous chapters.

Release Date

When can you watch “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3? The anime creators have not officially confirmed this yet. But considering the gap between the releases of Season 1 and 2, it is safe to assume that the earliest release window for this third season is 2025 (not too far from now compared with before).

However, according to media reports, MAPPA, the animator of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” is still working on other projects right now, so the release date for the third season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” may even be pushed forward to 2026. How sad.

If you are also excited to watch Season 3 of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” you are not alone. Join the others who have already seen the official trailer. Watch it here.
