That’s because they have launched the “New Game Plus” mode since April 2023, making gamers play more. To ensure you’re ready, here’s a complete guide to everything you should know. 

‘God Of War Ragnarök New Game Plus’ Overview

Released as a free update, the “God of War Ragnarök New Game Plus,” or NG+ mode, is a post-endgame mode unlocked as an option in the main menu upon completing the game’s main story, regardless of the difficulty. 

After this mode has been unlocked, you can begin a new game with items and stats already carried over from your latest save. Several things exclusive to this mode have also been added, such as Armor, Enchantments, Resources, and Weapon Attachments, among others. Here’s a glance. 

How It Works

“NG+ Plus” also says you can replay the whole game while keeping everything you got unlocked from a previous playthrough, allowing you access to more of the “God of War Ragnarök’s” world and all your equipment from the start. Please take it as a way of rewarding you after completing the game. 

To start this mode, you must finish the game’s main story first, which is by completing the The Realms at War quest. Once done, you will see “New Game Plus” listed on the main menu. 

Saves under this are marked with a horizontal red light beneath the save name. Pick it, and the game will ask you to select a save on which the “NG Plus” will be based. Only saves from those who have completed the The Realms at War quest will be eligible for this. 

Then, you will be asked to use one of the Manual New Game Data slots to start with, then pick your difficulty. Remember that this mode uses the existing difficulty settings.

Armor And Weapons

All weapons, armor, equipment, and skills will be carried over, save for the Sonic and Hex arrows. The Draupnir Spear will also be included, but you cannot use its traversal abilities and status as Special Equipment. 

There are also new armor sets added. Furthermore, existing armor sets are given brand-new cosmetic appearances to swap between. Be sure to check out the Spartan Aspis, a new shield. 

Brand-New Enchantments

Moreover, new enchantments are available for sale. Use Gilded Coils to purchase those enchantments. Also, the “God of War Ragnarök” Berserkers will drop new enchantments. 

Leveling And Progressing Up

Under this mode, the level cap has been increased. You can now convert equipment from Level 9 to Plus versions, improving them and furthering your progression.

Upon converting your equipment to “NG+” versions, you’ll be given a Gilded Coin you can use to purchase new enchantments from the Huldra Brothers. Use your XP to upgrade skill mode tokens. Don’t forget to look at the Labors and Ratatasks progress for new Platinum Tier rewards, as well as Yggdrasil Dew from Nornir Chests. 

Niflheim

There’s the Niflheim training arena, which means new enemies to battle with. In this arena, you can play either Atreus or Kratos. Then, choose from a varied range of companions to fight with. 

Enemies And Bosses

However, boss fights are more challenging in this mode. The Hateful and Ormstunga bosses have also been bestowed with new abilities and movesets.

For a while, players of “Resident Evil 4 Remake” and “Resident Evil 7” were able to enjoy these games on iOS mobiles – until a recent change from the game’s developers caught them off guard. Now, news reports are saying an Internet connection is required for you to be able to play those games on your iOS gadgets.

The launch of the compatibilities of some “Resident Evil” games, such as “Resident Evil 4 Remake,” “Residential Evil Village,” and “Resident Evil 7,” on iOS gadgets, including the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, have wowed gamers. This means they can play their favorite “Resident Evil” titles even while away from their computers or PlayStations, such as when on a long flight or inside the bus. 

Unfortunately, game developer Capcom has placed a limit and reportedly said iOS handset owners can no longer play these games without an Internet connection. 

This news was revealed on the r/iosgaming subreddit with a member sharing this screenshot:

The Redditor quoted Capcom saying, “Due to changes to the startup process, an Internet connection is now required when starting this app.”

There are no popular reports saying if this is an official Capcom announcement, but as for the reason for this decision, news outlets are saying it is because of low sales. Read on to find out.

News agencies are saying that “Resident Evil” games like “7” failed to cross $30,000 in sales, which is surprising because the game received solid praise and good reviews. 

It is confusing because if sales are the reason for this decision, why will Capcom enact restrictions that will reduce the number of gamers playing the games?

  • Pumpkin – Yields sizable profit margins, especially with the Tiller profession bonus. Essential for various community bundles, adding strategic value​.
  • Cranberry – Produces several berries per harvest and quickly regrows, ensuring steady income throughout the season.
  • Fairy Rose – High-value flower, perfect as gifts and for Honey production, significantly boosting Honey’s selling price.
  • Grapes – Proliferate quickly and continue to produce fruit every three days after the initial harvest, offering steady income.

Bok Choy

“Mediocre” is the best adjective for Bok Choy. So, just learning about that, you’d set this crop aside for now. But if you wish to know why it is the worst, read on.

First, it is not the most expensive seed. So, even if you can save money with it, it won’t give you lasting results, such as not providing the longest growth time. That said,  it also generates too minuscule a profit. Furthermore, the Bok Choy cannot be used in bundles, and the quests you access when you have this crop are limited. 

It may be the preferred gift for some villagers, but it is just used for one recipe, the Super Meal. While Bok Choy isn’t at all terrible, it is bland, so you better let go of it. 

Amaranth

Cool, despite its beautifully sounding name, the Amaranth is somewhat forgettable as a fall season crop. It is not at all terrible, but it isn’t great, believe us. Please don’t get hurt when we tell you it’s not super helpful, though it’s not useless throughout. Sure, you can earn profits if you grow it, but it will never lay the foundation for your “Stardew Valley” empire. 

How about recipes you can make using Amaranth? Sure, you can cook Salmon Dinner, but this dish doesn’t offer the level of skill buffs that other dishes do. Meanwhile, for Marnie, you need to grow at least one piece of Amaranth. This villager requests it as part of a quest. 

Amaranth is also not the best choice for profit. It is not the “worst” in every way, but there are better crops than it, not to mention Elliott hates it a lot.  

Corn

Not to be corny here, but Corn is better set aside during fall. While you can use it as a multi-harvest and multi-season plant (a valuable asset, indeed), this crop won’t make huge profits during fall. In the real world, corns are harvested in summer. 

Sure, you can use Corn to complete two standard bundles in the Community Center and a remixed crop, but it still has no valuable use. As for recipes, you can make some Tortillas or Cooking Oil from them, as in the real world, but you will still need other ingredients before arriving at those recipes. 

As a gift? Well, lacking. Five villagers don’t like it, together with Pierre who despises it. In other words, it’s best not to grow Corn during fall and to refocus your energy on other better crops.

Sunflower

In the real world, Sunflowers are a summer season beauty. But, in “Stardew Valley,” don’t laugh when you hear this is one of the worst crops regardless of the season. Let’s start with the pros.

Regardless of the season you grow your Sunflower, it can turn in significant profits. Also, you’ll need it to complete a bundle in the “Stardew Valley” story, and it can be given as a gift. Haley loves to receive Corn as a gift.

However, there are cons. You cannot use it in any requests for cooking and even if you can use it to make Cooking Oil, you’ll save bucks if you purchase premade oil instead.

So, maybe say “Pass” for this plant for now, as it will just drain your fields and profits. However, they’re beautiful, and those who are after aesthetics can have them. 

Coffee Beans

Tempting but deadly, Coffee Beans are not the most optimal crop because of their low base selling price and because they need you to wait for a lengthy processing before you can generate profits from it. 

Sure, they can produce multiple harvests, but the effort you must exert to convert the Beans into Coffee for higher profits is not worth it compared with those for other crops, especially for those looking for quicker and higher returns from their farming efforts.

Immersing yourself in “Stardew Valley,” you will realize that Bok Choy, Amaranth, Corn, Sunflower, and Coffee Beans. “Jujutsu Kaisen” is undoubtedly one of the best animes ever created. Now, fans are in for a treat as a brand-new third season is coming their way.

The second blockbuster season grabbed headlines, of course, as it was an impeccable rollercoaster ride filled with overwhelmingly unbelievable action, gore, and shocking twists you won’t see in other animes. 

Here’s what we know so far about the upcoming Season 3. 

Story

The story is one of the first things anime fans look forward to whenever a brand-new season is announced. Well, “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3 is confirmed to adapt the Culling Games arc in the manga. 

The Culling Game – not the Hunger Games – is a Battle Royale that takes place between the most formidable Jujutsu sorcerers devised by Kenjaku. 

The upcoming third season will follow through from the Shibuya Incident, that which sees Suguru Geto and Mahito wanting to seal away Satoru Goju for good. 

Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to their ultimate design. As a veil envelops the Tokyo special ward, the likes of Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro help turn the tide against the enemies.

Meanwhile, Choso, a supporting character and the third Death Painting sibling, attempted to seek vengeance against Itadori but stopped short of killing Itadori after seeing visions of his brother and Itadori himself. 

This Incident also produced casualties, such as the seriously wounded and presumed deceased Nobara Kugisaki, and Kento Nanami who died at the hands of Mahito. 

At the end of this arc, Geto and Kenjaku are seen awakening various non-sorcerers as a way to have sorcerers and non-sorcerers kill one another. This arc also tells about Satoru Gojo being excommunicated from the Jujutsu society while Itadori is sentenced to death with Yuta Okkotsu as the executioner. 

With those being said, you know that the Culling Games arc will be as thrilling as the previous chapters. 

Release Date

When can you watch “Jujutsu Kaisen” Season 3? The anime creators have not officially confirmed this yet. But considering the gap between the releases of Season 1 and 2, it is safe to assume that the earliest release window for this third season is 2025 (not too far from now compared with before).

However, according to media reports, MAPPA, the animator of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” is still working on other projects right now, so the release date for the third season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” may even be pushed forward to 2026. How sad.

You’ve learned about Sebastian Sallow in our previous stories for “Hogwarts Legacy.” He’s pretty significant in the game, as he appears many times. Aside from the quest from him, there’s the In the Shadow of the Study quest, his second relationship quest in the game. Here’s a “Hogwarts Legacy” insider look at it. 

What Are Relationship Quests?

Relationship quests in “Hogwarts Legacy” let you explore the backgrounds and stories of its Companions and other characters. Yes, there are companions, too, in this game.

First, Unlock The Quest

This quest is in the category of needing to unlock it. Here are the prerequisites to unlock the In the Shadow of the Study quest:

  • Fulfill all of Sallow’s previous quests first
  • Reach Level 16
  • Finish The High Keep main quest

Then, Meet Up With Sebastian

Square one of the quest starts at the first location, The Grand Staircase, going to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame.

Grab your Charmed Compass and follow the yellow trail to the starting point of the quest. Once you reach the glowing gold circle, press the right Wait button to start the quest. The Slytherin student appears and takes you to Ominis Gaunt. Trail behind him through the castle, then speak with Gaunt upon seeing him. 

Using Lit Braziers, Open The Scriptorium

Next is opening the Scriptorium using Lit Braziers. These Braziers are torches with snake bases. There are three of them, and you can see them from where Gaunt stands. There are two on the left and one on the right. This time, cast the Confringo spell to light all three torches quickly. If you are not speedy enough, they’ll fade away. Having all three Braziers lit reveals a secret passage. 

Move down to the secret passage stairs, then use Reparo on the crumbled stone relief. Now, talk to Gaunt. Brace yourself as he’ll reveal he is hearing voices. Remember Parseltongue from the movie? He’ll speak this and open the door. Proceed.

The Snake Puzzles

You’ll emerge out to a dungeon. Here, you will encounter snake puzzles that require you to align symbols in order to unlock doors. Every puzzle involves rotating some dials to match the right symbols with their corresponding snakes. Successfully solving the snake puzzles is necessary to advance through the eerie and hidden areas of Salazar Slytherin’s study. 

The Cruciatus Door

What’s great about “Hogwarts Legacy” is stepping up what you’ve seen in the movie and adding details, such as the Cruciatus Door in this game, inspired by the Cruciatus Curse in the novels and films. 

This door is dark but uncovers a pivotal moment. You must choose whether to cast Crucio on a Companion or have it cast on themselves, unlocking the door. This part highlights why this quest is categorized as a relationship quest.

Searching The Scriptorium

The last part is this. Here, you explore Slytherin’s hidden scriptorium. We don’t remember this in the novels and movies, but it’s in this game. This underground chamber that will send shivers down your spine keeps interesting ancient secrets and dark magic. You must solve puzzles and evade traps while uncovering the history of the Slytherin House’s founder.
