Ancient Magic holds an important place in the world of Harry Potter. In the novels, Ancient Magic is a very old, mysterious, and potent form of magic. It was last used in the late 1800s. Those in the present-day wizarding world who can perceive and wield this magic are considered rare. 

This form of magic is featured in the “Harry Potter”-inspired RPG, “Hogwarts Legacy,” set during those times. To experience wielding Ancient Magic, you must find the Ancient Magic Hotspots during your Exploration Challenges. 

Aside from boosting your Ancient Magic Meters, completing them will also give you rewards such as the Challenge Accepted trophy or achievement. But, finding these Hotspots isn’t as easy as A-B-C. Read this guide to know where to find all Ancient Magic Hotspots in “Hogwarts Legacy.”

Where To Find The 20 Ancient Magic Hotspots

There are 20 Ancient Magic Hotspots in the game.

Forbidden Forest

Two Ancient Magic Hotspots can be found here.

  • The first is among the ruins of a castle. Beware of the spiders crawling around.
  • The second is part of the ruins south of the Floo Flame, West Forbidden Forest. 

Hogsmeade Valley

For the next Ancient Magic Hotspot, head to Hogsmeade Valley. One Hotspot is located here. 

  • Just easy of this valley, at the entrance, you can find some castle ruins. The location is slightly southwest of the East Hogsmeade Valley Floo Flame.

North Hogwarts Region

There is one Ancient Magic Hotspot here. 

  • In the valley, you’ll find some ruins west of The Collector’s Cave. It’s also south of the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame. 

Hogwarts Valley

Six Ancient Magic Hotspots can be found here. 

  • The first is nearby the border with South Hogwarts Region, westside. The Hotspot is located among some castle ruins.
  • The second is at the river’s east, running through the region’s middle portion and among some castle ruins. Specifically, it is southwest of Brocburrow. 
  • The third Hotspot is located just Brocburrow’s south, next to the Spider Lair. 
  • The fourth Hotspot is above the hill in the castle ruins, Keenbridge’s northwest portion. 
  • The fifth is situated directly west of Keenbridge among some ruins.
  • The sixth Hotspot is situated at the castle’s base, southeast of Keenbridge or where all rivers meet. 

Feldcroft Region

Four Ancient Magic Hotspots are here in the Feldcroft Region. 

  • The first is found in the castle turret, left side of the Small Bandit Camp.
  • The second is located north of Feldcroft. 
  • The third is among the castle ruins east of Feldcroft.
  • The last is at the castle ruins’ entrance, specifically Irondale’s south.

Poidsear Coast

Two Ancient Magic Hotspots are here. 

  • One is located just outside a house wreckage south of the Phoenix Mountain Cave Floo Flame.
  • The other is next to a bridge outside the South Poidsear Coast Floo Flame.

Marunweem Lake

There are two Ancient Magic Hotspots here.

  • For the first, head to the Floo Flame, which is called Marunweem Bridge. The Hotspot is located just on the other side of the bridge. 
  • The second is on the lake’s other side, to the Coastal Mine Floo Flame.

Manor Cape

There’s one Ancient Magic Hotspot here.

  • It’s inside the ruined mansion above the cliff southwest of the Bainburgh Floo Flame. 

Cragcroftshire

Finally, Cragcroftshire, where you can find one Ancient Magic Hotspot.

  • It is on the lakeshore on the region’s western side below two Treasure Vaults.

Rewards

Upon completing all Ancient Magic Hotspot locations, you’ll receive up to three additional Ancient Magic Meter capacity slots with five slots overall, maximum: 

  • Two Ancient Magic Hotspots = One additional slot
  • Six Ancient Magic Hotspots = One additional slot
  • 12 Ancient Magic Hotspots = One additional slot

But, an avid “One Piece” fan, who seems to have juicy insider facts on the story production, claims Shanks will be the ultimate villain for Luffy, adding that he actually never loved or cared for him. Read on for the story. 

Shanks’ true intentions

Shanks had been a mystery, but that all changed when he started making some presence in the story of “One Piece.” During the Wano arc, he offered Luffy some help and brutally took down Eustass Kid during a fight in Elbaf Village. 

Despite these moves from Shanks, fans still consider his intentions unclear. They believe he remains the guiding figure just adhering to the orders of Gol D. Roger, his former captain. 

However, some fans say he’s actually a malevolent villain who keeps his true intentions a secret for now. 

A fan theory recently making rounds online says Shanks never really loved or cared for Luffy. The twist happens in the end, the fan, Callingthewall, said. 

Callingthewall’s theory says Shanks is actually Luffy’s opponent who won’t give up on his scheming motives. Shanks has been keeping mum for most of the series, but he’s soon going to unleash this true color, the fan said. 

They added that Shanks actually knew the real identity of Luffy’s Fruit and was just waiting for the anime’s hero to unlock its full potential. 

It is Shanks’ cover-up to save Luffy from the dangers looming before him. 

Luffy’s final opponent

Following those lines of thought, it can be concluded that Shanks will be the final villain of Eiichiro Oda’s phenomenal series. It won’t just alter the narrative, but it will also be the biggest betrayal in “One Piece.” This is even harder because Luffy considers Shanks not only his mentor but also his friend. 

But eagle-eyed fans know that a Shanks vs. Luffy battle can happen, only that the intent behind it must be made clear first.

“… One thing I am [100 percent] sure of is that Shanks was waiting for Luffy because he had to. As for the rest, we will see, but [in my opinion] this is all highly likely. Move over Im-sama, Blackbeard.. Shanks is gonna be the final [villain.]” Callingthewall said.

Details On The Price Of ‘GTA VI’ Revealed!

“Grand Theft Auto VI” is touted as one of the most ambitious projects in the history of the popular game series. As such, the price of the upcoming game is something you’d want to start saving for as early as now. Details about the pricing have recently been revealed.

‘GTA VI’ price

Strauss Zelnick, the chief executive officer of Take-Two Interactive, the game publisher that owns “GTA” developer Rockstar Games, said the cost of AAA games like “GTA VI” should be accounted for in terms of a “per hour value.” 

Major game releases currently retail at between $78 and $91, and an increase in the pricing of GTA VI would be fair. 

“In terms of pricing for any entertainment property, basically, the algorithm is the value of the expected entertainment usage,” Zelnick pointed out. “Which is to say that the per-hour value times the number of expected hours plus the terminal value that’s perceived by the customer in ownership if the title is actually owned, not, say, rented or subscribed to. By that standard, our frontline prices are still very, very low because we offer many hours of engagement.”

Furthermore, media outlets argued that comparing the costs of creating a superb AAA gaming experience, along with the time spent and effort exerted, the price of the upcoming “GTA VI” is still relatively “very low” for the consumer. 

However, there is no official confirmation that the publisher is increasing the price of GTA VI, but it is possible that the game will cost more than gamers are used to. 

The rumored price increase may make sense since the new map for “GTA VI” will feature more than 100 locations. 

‘Desperate’ fans

The first trailer of “GTA VI” was unveiled last December. With the game announced to launch by the fall of 2025, fans are “desperate” to see more teases. After that first trailer, nothing followed suit yet.

Here, William Joseph “B.J.” Blazkowicz awakens from a coma after failing to conquer a Nazi castle during the Second World War. He wakes to a world where the Nazis have won. So, the game’s hero must do everything to bring things back to normal. 

Various settings, from moon bases to concentration camps, complement the game’s story well. Though collecting the game’s trophies may take a lot of time, you’ll love what you’ll see at the end of the tunnel.

Asta has four Demon Swords to make this possible. Each is distinct and powerful, especially when combined with his physical strength and the devil’s power sealed in his grimoire, making Asta tough to beat. Here’s an explanation of those swords. 

The Four Demon Swords

1. Demon Slayer Sword

This is Asta’s first Demon Sword. Yes, it sounds like the other anime to us. This sword was sealed in his four-leaf black clover grimoire. The anime’s hero initially wielded it during his battle versus a chain magic user named Revchi Salik, who attempted to steal the five-leaf grimoire of his best friend and biggest rival at the same time, Yuno Grinberryall.

This sword is huge, resembling the Dragon Slayer sword of Guts, the Black Swordsman. The Demon Sword can nullify any kind of magic, making it a formidable sword in our hero’s arsenal. 

2. Demon-Dweller Sword

Next is the Demon-Dweller Sword. This sword, meanwhile, was bestowed upon Asta after finding it inside a dungeon while he and Grinberryall were battling against Mars, the previously evil Shining General of the Diamond Kingdom. 

This sword can borrow all forms of magic from other magic users through absorbing them. Yikes. Thus, this sword is a great weapon to use versus enemies who use long-range fighting styles. 

3. Demon Destroyer Sword

Third is the Demon Destroyer Sword. This sword originally belonged to the leader of the Elf Tribe, Licht. It features a unique shape summonable out of Asta’s black grimoire. Casuality Break is its unique ability, which lets it absorb and take away any magic spell, as well as its effects by severing the cause-and-effect relationship. Incredibly powerful, it can even negate the Reincarnation Magic. Asta used this sword in his most game-changing battles.

4. Demon Slasher Sword

Also, yes, Binacle can be Shiny in the game. 

After July 16th, the following Spotlight Hours will take place:

Mewtwo is such a classic. This Psychic-Type Pokémon has been present since the first Generation. Pokémon insiders consider Mewtwo to be the strongest in the game franchise. Lugia

Hailing from the Johto region, Lugia is another Legendary Pokémon, but stands out from the rest because of its majestic and silver-colored large, feathered wings. It’s also called the Diving Pokémon, dwelling deep under the sea, using its wings to conquer and calm the storms. It’s also known for its incredible psychic and flying abilities, including its Aeroblast signature move, which unleashes a devastating energy blast. Another of its abilities, the Multiscale, lessens the damage when it’s at full health, boosting its resilience during battles. Jirachi

Jirachi is followed by Victini. It comes from the region of Unova, known for its tiny and rabbit-like appearance with large and V-shaped ears that symbolize victory. So, as a Victory Pokémon, this monster with a witty name ushers Trainers who befriend it to victory. Its shines with an aura of boundless energies and positivities, making it a tough ally during battles. One of its abilities is the V-create signature move, unleashing a fiery and explosive attack. Meanwhile, its Victory Star boosts the precision of its moves and those of its cohorts. Dialga

Moving forward now with Dialga, a Steel- and Dragon-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in the fourth Generation. This amazing pocket monster equalizes all Dragon-type weakness moves, such as Ice Beam, Dragon Breath, Dragon Pulse, Roar of Time, Draco Meteor, Dragon Rush, and Dragon Claw, making it authentically unstoppable. 

Palkia

This Legendary Pokémon from the region of Sinnoh is known for its dragon-like form and pearl-like armor. “Chainsaw Man” is all over the media! It’s listed as one of the best animes on news outlets such as Screen Rant, Kotaku, and The Ringer. This anime is filled with interesting characters, such as Power. In this story, you’ll learn the most fascinating trivia about her – from her breast pads to her cats – with tidbits of information from the original manga. 

Who Is Power?

Power doesn’t have a last name, so you can adopt this for your brand or whatnot. She is a prominent figure in “Chainsaw Man,” known for her vibrant personality and unique appearance. 

In the story, she is a fiend, a devil possessing a human corpse. Her strong bond with her pet cat, Meowy, is remarkable. She initially exudes selfishness and manipulative nature, but the story later reveals she is loyal and caring for her friends, specifically Aki Hayakawa and Denji. 

Her most incredible ability is her blood manipulation, which she uses to craft weapons and control blood flow. In spite of her bold outer aura, “Chainsaw Man” interestingly reveals her more vulnerable side, highlighting her complex character development.  

Things You Might Not Know Yet About Power

Her Breast Pads Are As Popular As Her

“Chainsaw Man” has characters that will make you drool, like what you did while watching Poison Ivy in the Batman series. In the story, Power explains how she uses breast pads to make her breasts appear more prominent. She is successful at that, as people would take notice of them the moment they see them. Even the publishers turned this into a joke by introducing those pads as candidates in a popularity voting. 

Guess what? Her breast pads secured the 25th position with over 2,300 votes, a rank that performed better than the gun fiend and the katana man. 

She Owns A Cat With Two Names

Fur parents, you better befriend Power. Because of her love for her cat, she gave it two names, depending on the version of the manga you’re reading. In the original Japanese iteration of “Chainsaw Man,” her cat is named Nyāko, a cute Japanese term for “cats.” In the English translation of the manga, the name is Meowy, highlighting the sound cats make. 

Interestingly enough, Power doesn’t care much for living beings, but is ready to sacrifice her life for her pet cat. 

She Is The First And Most Unique Fiend In The Anime

The odd world of “Chainsaw Man” comprises humans, devils, hybrids, and fiends. Aside from being the first field, she is also the most unique fiend. Love her or hate her, but she sides with whoever is winning at the moment instead of siding with either devils or humans. 

Her Horns Can Grow Massively

Since Power is a devil possessing a human corpse, she’s got horns made out of blood growing out of her head. It’s hard to imagine how liquid becomes solid, but she has those horns. Aside from being proof of her devilish side, they are directly connected to her ability to utilize instruments made out of her own blood and heal herself by feeding herself with blood, too. 

In the story, her horns can grow taller and larger whenever she consumes considerable blood. But everything is balanced here. To squeeze those horns to their original size, she must drain additional blood out of her body. For instance, she lets Denji drink some of the blood. 

Moreover, additional horns can grow out of her head. 

Her Hygiene Isn’t The Best

Unfortunately, power isn’t your best travel buddy. Do you know why? She’s not hygienic. In the story, you’ll learn that she doesn’t take a bath or flush the toilet. Not only unhygienic but irresponsible. She’ll also toss off food like vegetables from her meals simply because she doesn’t like them. She prefers the flesh of undead zombies over human food. 

She takes hygiene for granted because she thinks humans are too sensitive to take it seriously, considering she’s a devil in a human body. 

Her Hair Color Is Inconsistent

Either because of a coloring and design glitch, or the creative team was intentional about it, Power’s hair color is inconsistent. In some parts of the story, her hair color is pink, but in other parts, it is blonde. 

Her Name Has A Christian Origin

Her name is the only non-Japanese name in the anime, at least as far as the main characters are concerned. Anime insiders say her name has a Christian origin. You may have already guessed why. Yes, the name comes from the hierarchy of angels in the Christian religion. “Power” or “Powers” is the name of middle-order angels who, as the name suggests, have power over evil forces. They prevent these forces from inciting harm to the world. Truly, Power in “Chainsaw Man” lives up to her name’s origin.

She’s Famous Among The Fans

Power wouldn’t be famous without the fans. There were official popularity polls done for “Chainsaw Man” that showed that Power topped the leaderboard with over 35,000 votes. 

A second poll of this kind was conducted, and she garnered almost 70,000 votes, around double the previous poll. But she came in third. Nevertheless, she’s still popular. 

Where To Watch ‘Chainsaw Man’

“Chainsaw Man” last aired in December 2022, but a second season is speculated to be in the works. You can stream this anime on platforms like Crunchyroll and Netflix. 

Its story has two arcs. The first arc starts with Denji, an impoverished teenager who agrees to a deal to fuse his body with Pochita, a Devil that resembles a dog. It gave him the ability to turn parts of his body into chainsaws. It’s Weird, but that’s the story.

Denji then joins a government agency known as the Public Safety Devil Hunters, which is all out to fight against Devils who threaten Japan.

Its second arc focuses on Asa Mitaka, a high school pupil who signs a deal with the War Devil, Yoru, who asks her to hunt down the Chainsaw Man to reclaim what she believes was stolen from her.
