Among Us Launches Massive Roles and Cosmicube Update

Among Us, a multiplayer social deduction game has a meteoric rise to fame in 2020. This increase in popularity has given it a new lease on life, and developer Innersloth has now released the Roles and Cosmicubes Update, which includes a slew of much-anticipated additions.

Innersloth is a small indie firm that has been working hard to improve the game for fans. The addition of new Roles to the game, including three for Crewmates—Scientists, Engineers, and Guardian Angels—and one for Impostors known as Shapeshifters, is one aspect of this update.

As shown in a new trailer, each of these new jobs will add new dynamics to Among Us. Scientists will be able to examine the health of other Crewmates using a portable vitals panel, which could make it more difficult for Impostors to hide a murder.

However, the panel must be charged, which presents Scientists with a unique challenge. Engineers will be the first Crewmates to gain access to the vents, allowing them to travel fast across the map and maybe catch Impostors venting. The first Crewmate slain will be granted the Guardian Angel position, which allows them to shield live Crewmates from harm temporarily. At the same time, Impostors will be given the Shapeshifter duty, which allows them to disguise themselves as other Crewmates temporarily.

Cosmicubes, a Battle Pass-style progression system that can be purchased in the Shop and triggered to provide players unique rewards, is also included in the update. Only one Cosmicube can be triggered at a time, however multiple Cosmicubes can be purchased and saved for later use, and each Cosmicube has its own set of routes.

As if that weren’t enough to pique fans’ interest, Among Us has also introduced Beans, a new currency that can be won through gameplay and used to purchase additional cosmetics. In this version, achievements, visor cosmetics, nameplates, and account linking have all been added to Among Us.

As of this writing, it looks that fans of The Among Us are looking forward to the upcoming update. Several fans praised the trailer’s production values, while others were ecstatic at how many new features had been added to the game all at once. One user commented that seeing someone ranting will no longer be guaranteed evidence of guilt. At the same time, another praised the new microtransactions in Among Us as one of the best methods to make in-game purchases.

Ubisoft is commemorating its 35th anniversary by giving back to the gaming community. During the event, the corporation is giving away enormous discounts, free prizes, daily giveaways, and free games like Assassin’s Creed Chronicles to fans.

Starting today, PC users can get a free copy of the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles Trilogy through Ubisoft Connect, while console players can get substantial discounts on some of the company’s best titles and DLC.

Weapon bloom is a game mechanic that refers to a weapon’s accuracy trajectory, which means that where players point their crosshair and shot is not always where the bullet would fall. Decidueye Coming To Pokemon Unite Soon

When Greedent, a reasonably popular Normal-type from Pokemon Sword & Shield’s Galar area, was revealed as the newest playable character to join the roster of Pokemon Unite, not everyone was overjoyed. As if to make up for it, the next playable Pokemon appears to be a lot more popular pick.

The official Pokemon Unite Twitter account just published an image that clearly hints at the next playable character. Several green, red, and white feather-shaped arrows are depicted launching downwards. Any Pokemon fan may deduce from the image and the accompanying comment that the newest character will be Decidueye.

Decidueye is a dual Grass/Ghost-type Pokemon from the Alola region in Pokemon Sun & Moon on the Nintendo 3DS. Decidueye is the ultimate evolution of Rowlet, one of the three beginning Pokemon from those games, and joins Pikachu, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Greninja, and Cinderace as the seventh playable starter in Pokemon Unite.

Decidueye appears to be one of the most popular Pokemon in Generation 7. It was one of the new features of Pokken Tournament DX, the upgraded re-release of the fighting game Pokken Tournament, and it was said to be in the running for inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. However, Incineroar, the last evolution of Pokemon Sun & Moon’s Fire starter Litten, defeated it in the end.

For the time being, it is unknown when Decidueye will be added to the game or how it will function. On November 10th, Pokemon Unite will receive a patch, possibly in preparation for the addition of Decidueye. Fans should probably expect Decidueye to arrive later this month or in December at the very least. Given Decidueye’s part-Ghost type, one would believe it would’ve been more appropriate to introduce it during the Halloween event.

With Decidueye’s addition, the overall roster will now stand at 27, and with Pokemon Unite’s second season of content just about to begin, there are sure to be much more playable Pokemon in the works. The MOBA is now widely available on Nintendo Switch and mobile platforms, and improvements have been made to reduce the pay-to-win components, which were a prevalent gripe from players since its contentious but nonetheless successful introduction earlier this year.

However, players of Pokemon Unite have discovered new flaws with the game since then. The addition of $40 cosmetics for playable Pokemon is perhaps the most obvious example. Despite the fact that the game is free to play, many people are offended by the fact that the costumes are as pricey as some full-priced games.

Robinhood in No Rush to List New Crypto Like Shiba Inu

According to Robinhood Crypto’s chief operating officer, Christine Brown, the platform is in no hurry to add new crypto tokens, no matter how popular they may be. Brown goes on to say that Robinhood’s strategy differs from other platforms that are just scrambling to list as many assets as possible. She explains that the short-term gain they’ll get from listing these new coins may not be worth it in the long term for their consumers.

However, some of Shiba Inu’s supporters—otherwise known as the SHIB Army—may not be pleased with Brown’s words, especially after they’ve been clamoring to get the meme token listed on the popular crypto trading platform. In fact, there’s a petition on Change.org requesting Robinhood to list Shiba Inu, and it has 527,307 signatures at the time of writing.

On the other hand, other SHIB Army members have been showing their support on Twitter, saying that the token is strong enough and capable enough to succeed even without being listed on Robinhood.

Without a doubt, Robinhood could benefit greatly from listing Shiba Inu, as it could cause a massive influx of trading on the platform. However, Robinhood has learned a lot after listing Dogecoin on the platform: the influx could only be short-lived since the coin’s value is volatile.

The price of SHIB has spiked up to almost 70,000,000% in the past year alone, causing it to have a market value of $29 billion. However, the meme token also had a significant downfall recently of 37% after it reached an all-time high about two weeks ago.
