Trivia time! We’re doing it this time for Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira of “Demon Slayer.” He has made his way toward the hearts of the anime’s die-hard fans ever since the beginning of the Entertainment District Arc.

Uzui is a central supporting character in the anime and a major character in that arc. He was a former member of the Demon Slayer Corps, an organization dedicated to safeguarding humanity from demons since the ancient eras. There, he was the Sound Hashira.

Being flamboyant and flashy with his long white hair, maroon eyes, and accessories, Uzui has become among the best and most remarkable characters in “Demon Slayer.” Let’s get to know him a bit better.

He Is A Master Of Sound Breathing

In the story of “Demon Slayer,” Sound Breathing is a breathing style touted as a branch of Thunder Breathing. Sound Breathing involves Score, a combat strategy wherein Uzui reads his enemies’ movements and deconstructs them into sound by analyzing their movements’ rhythms. What an ability.

With this, Uzui can take advantage of the openings of his opponents by “making the beats to a song.” This combat style highlights generating sounds to stun opponents.

He Is The Most Indestructible Swordsman In The Demon Slayer Corps

Earning the position and reputation as one of the Pillars of the Demon Slayer Corps, Uzui has also become the strongest swordsman in the organization. He can impeccably dual-wield his Nichirin blades. Each demon slayer is armed with this weapon, a special sword forged from a special sunlight-absorbing ore.

He Is The Second Physically Strongest Hashira

Because of his physique, Uzui is the runner-up in the category of the strongest Hashira. He just trails behind Gyomei Himejima, who is bigger and more muscular than Uzui.

But he deserves the second spot as his Nichirin sword is bigger than the average blades, requiring more strength to wield, which Uzui can satisfy.

He Has Three Wives!

Uzui has three wives, yes. What a man. Why shouldn’t he? He is strong, versatile, and attractive. His three wives resemble the other main characters of “Demon Slayer”: Tanjiro Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, and Inosuke Hashibira.

The first wife, Hinatsuru, is patient and calm like Kamado, but she can devise the best battle strategies. Meanwhile, Suma resembles Agatsuma’s personality as she can be dramatic in an overflowing way, gets startled easily, and is overly emotional. The last of the three wives, Makio, shares her loudness, stubbornness, and confidence with Hashibira.

He Showcases Incredible Speed

Uzui’s speed cannot be discounted, being hailed as “The Flash” in the anime. He possesses terrific speed that perfectly complements his skills. For instance, he can cut off a demon’s head before they even know it and react.

He may be bulky, but this is an advantage for his speed. Among the Hashiras, he is the fastest runner. This is probably due to his shinobi training, as he must infiltrate and make hasty escapes during missions.

He Is An Ex-Shinobi

He was a shinobi before Uzui became part of the Demon Slayer Corps and one of its Pillars. Shinobis are ninjas who are well-trained in the art and science of ninjutsu or silent infiltration. Shinobis have the power to infiltrate discreetly without being discovered or making a sound. This could be why Uzui was named the Sound Hashira of the Corps.

He Is The Only Character (Apart From Inosuke Hashibira) Who Uses Two Nichirin Blades

In “Demon Slayer,” only two characters wield two Nichirin blades: Uzui and Hashibira. Hashibira is a traveling companion of Tanjiro and Nezuko.

He Has No Tsuguko Or Successor

Other Hashiras would have a successor, but Uzui doesn’t have one.

He Has A Descendant, Though

But Uzui has a descendant who resembles him physically, of course. He is Tenma, an Olympic-level gymnast who represented Japan and won a gold medal.

He Abandoned His Family

It is sad to say that Uzui eventually abandoned his family. The anime’s official fan book reveals how he often pondered exterminating the rest of this clan.

Uzui’s childhood was a bit tough because of the harshness of his dad toward him and his siblings. Tengen actually killed two of his siblings at that time, but he wasn’t aware that he did it until after the fight. By the time he was 15 years old, only he and one of his younger brothers remained alive. But, instead of also doing to him what he did to his other siblings, as their father wished, Tengen and his wives just decided to abandon the clan.

He Is The Second Hashira To Retire Due To Disability

Before his retirement, Uzui only had one hand and an eye after his battle with Gyutaro, one of the main villains in the anime. The first Hashira to retire was Jigoro Kuwajima, the former Thunder Hashira.

What Are Pokémon Natures?

Pokémon Natures were first introduced in “Ruby and Sapphire’s” Generation 3, with each Pokémon being randomly assigned with one Nature. Each Nature your Pokémon is listed with increases one of its stats by 10 percent but decreases another by 10 percent. For instance, a Pokémon whose nature is “Brave” will have an attack stat higher than usual. You’ll get to know more of this as you read on.

1. Adamant

Pocket monsters whose nature is Adamant receive a boost to their Attack and a decrease to their Special Attack. It is most effective in Normal- or Fighting-type Pokémons that usually depend on physical attacks.

2. Bashful

Bashful isn’t just a “Snow White” thing. Also referred to as the “neutral Nature,” this doesn’t offer any boost in stats or cuts. Meaning to say, Pokémons with this Nature will have fully balanced stats. Therefore, they are categorized as well-rounded fighters.

Likes: Neutrality
Dislikes: Lack of specialization

3. Bold

Pokémons whose nature is Bold gain a Defense boost but a cut to their Attack. It’s an excellent match for Rock- or Steel-type Pokémons as they heavily rely on defense. They also excel at withstanding damage and reducing their opponents’ health with their Special Attacks.

4. Brave

Of course, pocket monsters of this Nature are reflected by their Attack power. Brave Pokémons will have heightened Attack power, but they won’t be your fastest Pokémons. This Nature best suits Normal-, Rock-, and Fighting-type Pokémons. It is since these types have a decent Defense and can handle the loss of some Speed better than other monsters.

5. Calm

On the other hand, Calm Pokémon excel in Defense but not in Attack. Legendary Pokémons benefit the most from this Nature because of their high Special Defense. However, catching Calm Pokémons can be cumbersome.

6. Careful

What an interesting Pokémon Nature, right? This adds a Special Defense bonus but lowers the Pokémon’s Special Attack. Normal types that don’t use Special Attack very often will benefit from this Nature.

Docile is also a neutral Pokémon Nature.

8. Gentle

Meanwhile, the Gentle Nature is capable of boosting Special Defense, though it lowers your Pokémon’s Defense. Ghost-type monsters benefit most from this as they are immune against regular attacks, so a low Defense is negligible. However, Special Attacks affect them vastly, so a boost in Special Defense will help.

9. Hardy

Hardy is likewise a neutral Nature. It allows you to grow your stats equally.

Dislikes: Lack of specialization

10. Hasty

Tasty hasty Pokémon Nature. As its name suggests, Pokémons with this Nature gain higher Speed, but they won’t be the best in Defense. It is best suited to Pokémons with good Speed and can inflict Status Ailments, such as Bug-type pocket monsters.

11. Impish

A bit creepy, the Impish Nature boosts a Pokémon’s Defense and lowers Special Attack. Match this with Pokémons of Normal, Steel, Rock, and Fighting types since these types depend more on Attack rather than Special Attack.

12. Jolly

What does the Jolly Nature have in store for us? Well, Jolly Pokémons gain an increased Speed but a lowered Special Attack. It works ideally with Normal Pokémons that have a decent Speed to start with. Also, this type doesn’t normally use a Special Attack, so the reduction won’t be a big deal.

13. Lax

Meanwhile, this Pokémon Nature increases Defense but decreases Special Defense. Compatible Pokémons with this Nature are the Normal types. Normal-type monsters show a weakness to Fighting types. Since Fighting pocket monsters use Attack, Normal ones won’t rely heavily on Special Defense.

14. Lonely

It may be Lonely, but Pokémons of this Nature excel in Attack (though their Defense is lowered). It is most suitable for Legendary and Dragon-type Pokémons that usually have strong Defense and Special Defense. So they won’t be needing the boost from this Nature that much.

15. Mild

Though Mild Pokémons get a lowered defense, they gain a considerable Special Attack boost. Benefitting most from this Nature are Ghost-type Pokémons that depend on Special Attacks. Since they are not affected by regular attacks, they won’t need a Defense boost.

16. Modest

Modest Pokémons gain a higher Special Attack, but their Attack is lowered. This Nature works best for Psychic-, Ghost-, and Fairy-type Pokémons that find themselves often using Special Attacks rather than regular Attacks.

17. Naive

This Nature may be called Naive, but Pokémons with it have accelerated Speed (though their Special Defense is diminished). This Nature is ideal for Normal- and Fighting-type Pokémons. Losing Special Defense won’t be a big deal for them.

18. Naughty

Naughty Pokémons, being, well, naughty, excel in Attack but are poor in Special Defense. Benefitting most from this are the Normal- and Steel-type Pokémons that have minimal weaknesses.

19. Quiet

Quiet Pokémons are not the fastest but are great with Special Attacks. Dragon- and Ghost-type Pokémons are most suited for this Nature as they rely on Special Attacks and are incredibly resilient to damage.

Another neutral Pokémon Nature.

“Minecraft” is a sandbox game where the possibilities of exploring its world are literally infinite. You can scour the land or explore under the oceans. Should you wish to do the latter, it can be really difficult. But can you? Of course. What you need is the Potion of Water Breathing.

What Is The Potion Of Water Breathing? What Can It Do?

Potions are a common thoroughfare in several games, such as “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” and “Hogwarts Legacy.” In the world’s favorite sandbox game, potions are also a necessity.

One of them, the Potion of Water Breathing, restrains the oxygen bar from depleting while you are underwater in “Minecraft.” Drinking this potion gives you the Water Breathing effect so you can breathe underwater for three minutes. It isn’t that long, but it means a lot.

Here’s how to brew some Potions of Water Breathing. Let’s first discuss what you’ll need.

Ingredients

Like many other recipes, you must first collect the ingredients to make this potion. They are:

One Crafting Table (craft using four Wood Planks)
One Brewing Stand (craft with a Blaze Rod and three Cobblestones – you’ll learn how later)
One Blaze Powder (make this using a Blaze Rod)
One Water Bottle
One Nether Wart
One Puffer Fish

That’s pretty much it. Meanwhile, you can also make variants of this potion. To do so, you will need:

Gunpowder
Redstone
Dragon’s Breath

Crafting Your Brewing Stand

Before anything else, you must first craft your brewing stand. Here are the steps:

Begin by crafting four Wood Planks. To do so, place a block of Wood in your crafting grid. Note here that you can use any type of Wood, including Oak and Jungle.
Next, place your Planks into each box in your crafting grid to make your Crafting Table. Otherwise, you may also form a square in your grid.
This time, you need to prepare your Blaze Rod. To acquire a Blaze Rod, you must defeat Blazes, Hostile Mobs found in Nether. Find them in a fortress here.
Then, mine three Cobblestones or Blackstones.
Place the Crafting Table before you.
Once done, open the Crafting Table and access your three-by-three grid.
Put a Blaze Rod in the upper row’s middle part, then three Cobblestones or Blackstones in the mid-row.
Once your Brewing Stand is crafted, you can now access its Brewing menu.

Note: Those who do not want to go through this process (which is quite tedious, by the way), you can instead steal them from Minecraft villagers or the villages. Don’t worry. It’s not bad at this point. You need the Brewing Stand, don’t you? Igloos with a basement should have a Brewing Stand, so feel free to search for them if you find yourself spawning in the snowy biomes.

Now, let’s make that potion you need!

How To Make Your Water Breathing Potion

The steps are specified below.

First, open your Brewing Stand. Then, add your Blaze Powder to the box in your Brewing menu’s upper-left corner. It activates the Brewing Stand.
Then, add a Water Bottle to one of the three boxes in your Brewing menu’s bottom potion.
On the top box of your Brewing menu, add your Nether Wart. Once the brewing process is finished, your Water Bottle will contain an Awkward Potion. It’s not yet your potion. The Awkward Potion is the one necessary to create secondary potions. Think of how it goes in “Little Alchemy 2.”
Now, it’s time for your Puffer Fish to be added to the top box of your Brewing menu.
The brewing process will commence. Once complete, the Awkward Potion will be replaced by the Potion of Water Breathing.

The potion also has other variants which you can make, too, of course:

Splash Water Breathing Potion – This type of Water Breathing Potion can be used on other players. To make this, simply add Gunpowder to the Potion of Water Breathing.

Lingering Water Breathing Potion – You can also make the Lingering Water Breathing Potion. You can use this to create a Water Breathing cloud. If a player or mob runs through the cloud, they will also get the potion’s Water Breathing effect, allowing them to breathe underwater for 45 seconds. To make this, simply add Dragon’s Breath to the Splash Potion of Weakness.

When Should You Use The Potion Of Water Breathing?

When you need to breathe underwater, right, you might say? But hold on, the potion has other uses as well.

Water Breathing potions were initially just a niche for some “Minecraft” players, but they eventually became more important to the game. Underwater, you can find so much loot, such as in shipwrecks and ruins, which include treasure maps that can lead you to buried treasures of diamonds and hearts of the sea, helpful in making a conduit.

But aside from that, the Potion of Water Breathing has also proved helpful for those who wish to defeat the Elder Guardians inside an Ocean Monument. Without proper breathing capabilities, exploring these underwater dungeons can be tricky, not to mention the powerful enemies, too.

Also, players who want to get their hands on Prismarine (an underwater stone), sponge blocks, and the gold treasure found in these monuments will need some Water Breathing potions.

What Is A Clockwork Castellan?

Clockwork Castellans are automaton toys owned by Ramon Salazar. Salazar is the Castle region’s leader and its final boss. He is a member of the Los Illuminados – a religious group – and a servant of Lord Osmund Saddler, another antagonist in the game. However, Salazar seems to lead his little cult within the Castle, too.

These toys are scattered all over the Castle, Village, and Island. You can find one hidden Clockwork Castellan in each chapter, totaling 16.

Where To Find All The Clockwork Castellans

Chapter 1: Lakeside Settlement

The first Clockwork Castellan is just past the Farm area. Check the building where the Ganados are hurling dynamite from. You’ll find the toy in the broken roof’s rafters.

Chapter 2: Near The Abandoned Factory

After getting the Hexagonal Emblem from this chapter, you can find the toy in the hut, in precisely the same spot where you’ll encounter the chainsaw man. Turn your gaze in the hut’s corner.

Chapter 3: The Merchant By The Dock

From the merchant nearby the first firing range, jump toward the dock, then proceed to the dead-end corner on your right. The Clockwork Castellan is sitting atop some boxes.

Chapter 4: Forest Altar

In this chapter, the toy is at the Forest Altar. To get here, head to the Northern dock from the Lake, then back to the Lakeside Settlement. Enter the Insignia Key gate at the back to reach the Forest Altar. The Castellan is behind the fence.

Chapter 5: Attic Of The Mayor’s House

The next toy is in the Mayor’s House’s attic, accessible when you get back to the village after rescuing Ashley Graham.

Chapter 6: Checkpoint

Just before you reach the Checkpoint where you encounter the Bella Sisters, you will pass a hut on the left. On your right is a quarry with a bonfire over it. Zoom in on this bonfire to find the Castellan.

Chapter 7: Between The Dungeon And Treasury

The next Castellan is on the upper shelves inside the storeroom between the Dungeon and the Treasury.

Chapter 8: Castle Battlements

The toy is above the first part of the castle battlements. Check the corner around the back area.

Chapter 9: Courtyard

The toy in this chapter can be found in the Courtyard’s northwestern corner, near a First Aid Spray. Be sure to look down in your right corner.

Chapter 10: Depths

The next Clockwork Castellan is here, near where you battle with Verdugo. On your left, you will find the merchant. Further down the hall, the Castellan sits upside-down in one of the pipes to your right.

Chapter 11: Stopover

You can find the toy in the Stopover area, which is between the minecart rides. The toy is in the rafters.

Chapter 12: Clock Tower

Here, the Castellan is beneath the stairs. It’s on top of a box in the corner of the lowest level.

Chapter 13: Between The Lab And Wharf

The toy is under a truck here.

Chapter 14: Campsite

You can find a room after the Amber Storeroom, where Graham gets taken. The Clockwork Castellan is on the lockers there.

Chapter 15: Specimen Storage

Before the Specimen Storage, there’s a side room. You can find the toy here.

Chapter 16: Underground Passage

The 16th Castellan is inside a room in the Underground Passage.

Important Note

Finding all the Clockwork Castellans is easy. But note that some of them are missable. That means you can never return once you leave an area on the map. Thus, if you wish to collect the toys, you must reload a saved game or play the game all over again.

It’s interesting how today’s influencers are turning into business moguls, such as Jake Paul. The boxer, YouTuber, and venture capitalist launched his newest men’s personal care line on Wednesday. The products are available exclusively at Walmart.

‘Win’

His new men’s personal care line is called “W,” short for “win.” It features three products you can start with: a body wash, body spray, and antiperspirant deodorant. The deodorant comes in three scents: Original, Fresh Ice, and Deep Woods.

Five more products are reportedly launching soon: a two-in-one shampoo and conditioner, face wash, bar soap, hair gel, and pomade.

The products are available exclusively at Walmart stores, Walmart online, and the brand’s official website, GetW.com.

Made in the United States, everything in the catalog is under $10.

‘My baby’

What inspired him to create such an in-demand brand was when he was still a regular guy walking into a CVS Pharmacy store years back. He was there to buy some men’s products. He was so disappointed with the options on the store shelves, so he decided to make his own instead.

“Nothing had changed, and [I knew] that I could create a better product with better formulas,” he said.

However, he admitted getting “a bit nervous” about this undertaking.

“We’ve put so much work into this for the past two years. This is, like, my baby. It’s my vision,” Paul told the media. “I came up with the name, the product, the category, all the scents, everything. This is my reign, this is my biggest creation. Definitely nervous to see how the world receives it.”
