Experience The Best FPS Games On Nintendo Switch

0

The Nintendo Switch is changing the way avid gamers play their favorite games, plus more. Well, aside from playing games, this console, believe it or not, can also be used to watch TV shows, voice chat with friends, and listen to music. You can also play games with your friends.

But beyond those, perhaps another thing that makes the Nintendo Switch stand out is the catalog of games available, covering practically every genre. First-person shooters or FPS games are definitely no exception.

First-person shooters are a genre or type of video game that basically has the player aiming and shooting at targets. Additionally, players see the graphics from their viewpoint as the shooter.

Are you tinkering around and finding out which FPS games are the best to play on your Nintendo Switch? Here’s a list.

1. ‘Metroid Prime Remastered’

To be able to play one of Nintendo’s heroes, Samus Aran, from a first-person perspective finally became possible in “Metroid Prime.” But, this time, you can reenter Aran’s power suit and utilize its full abilities to hunt the Chozo species on Tallon IV in “Metroid Prime Remastered.”

It fairly competes with today’s wave of alluring remakes like “Resident Evil 4” and “Dead Space.”

This remastered “Metroid Prime” game has completely modified the mechanics and aesthetics, veering away from the third-person Metroidvania platformer roots toward a fast-paced FPS laden with puzzles and target lock-on. Thus, you get a game in a more updated fashion. Perfect and deserves to be loved.

2. ‘DOOM’

The next game on the list is “DOOM,” and we certainly can’t finish this story without mentioning this.

Developed by id Software – the studio that gave birth to the FPS genre and behind the popular multiplayer Deathmatch –  “DOOM” is brutally fun, featuring relentless demons and insanely destructive guns for intense, first-person combat, whether you are defeating hordes of demons through Hell’s depths in single-player mode, or competing against your buddies in its various multiplayer modes. This game allows you to use your weapons to beat Hell’s raging demon hordes.

3. ‘BioShock: The Collection’

It is rare to find the marriage of alternate history and dystopia in games, but if you are a passionate fan of this, “BioShock: The Collection” will provide you with what you want.

“BioShock: The Collection” is actually a compilation of “BioShock” video games, from the development of Blind Squirrel Games and from the publication of 2K Games.

This particular game features upgraded versions of “BioShock” and “BioShock 2,” as well as “BioShock Infinite,” attributed with brand-new textures, as well as support for higher resolution displays and framerates.

4. ‘Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus’

While the graphical downgrade of this game on Nintendo Switch is noticeable, that doesn’t tarnish the fact “Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus” stands as the best narrative single-player FPS game you can experience on the video game console.

Moreover, it may also haave a lack of a multiplayer mode, but it still has a story brilliantly written and action so intense that playing this alongside “DOOM” is a magical experience. Don’t miss William Joseph “B.J.” Blazkowicz’s war versus the Third Reich while you play this game.

5. ‘Prodeus’

Meanwhile, “Prodeus” will transport you back to the old FPS games as this game is re-imagined with the use of modern rendering techniques and technology. But, you’ll experience the quality of a modern AAA game, fused with retro aesthetics and gameplay that still invoke the features of older hardware.

Specifically, this game features a handcrafted campaign from the veterans of the FPS industry, as well as co-op and competitive multiplayer modes banking on classic modes, a fully integrated level editor, and a community map browser built-in for instantaneous action combined with almost limitless playing levels. Be prepared to paint the walls red. This is the FPS you have been waiting for.

6. ‘Crysis Remastered Trilogy’

Alright, this time, we’re talking about FPS games with scenic views and special suits. Make these possible with “Crysis Remastered Trilogy” on Nintendo Switch.

Taking its cue from the original that was launched in 2007, this new version offers a more stylish charm and outstanding graphics to the hostile soldier and Lingshan Islands known to be infested with aliens.

Here, you play as Nomad, the nano-suited soldier. You can then use your invisibility to strategically chase enemies and cause tons of environmental damage with your weapons. It’s a game that combines sci-fi with the military shooter genre. Of course, the Ceph aliens are here.

7. ‘Immortal Redneck’

Another must-play FPS on Nintendo Switch is “Immortal Redneck.” Don’t mind its negligible audio and visual issues, this game is an absolute blast.

It combines its well-crafted room design with maps randomly generated, providing players the capacity to smoothly sprint, leap, and blast through those maps with the grace of their weapons while constantly enhancing their capabilities. Together, this offers a massively satisfying experience that you’ll play this tomorrow again.

8. ‘Bright Memory: Infinite’

Another feature that makes FPS games stunning is their futuristic settings, such as what you’ll find in “Bright Memory: Infinite,” which takes place in the 2030s. See the world in this time with this game.

Apart from its riveting graphics and gameplay visuals, this hybrid sequel to and remake expansion of “Bright Memory: Episode One” also features melee combat, where players can parry bullets and juggle opponents with a second sword weapon. Whoa.

Here, you play as Shelia Tan, an agent of the Supernatural Science Research Organization, summoned to the field after a strange worldwide weather event. Her investigation also finds you in a battle against enemy soldier units and ancient gigantic bosses amid mesmerizing natural landscapes. Of course, you’ll have an exosuit that will grant you more superpowers.

Whatever world, whatever time, and whatever gameplay you are looking for, you can find them on Nintendo Switch’s swarm of FPS games. Those in the mood for some bang bang should give these games a try.

Ultimate Guide to Word Games and Puzzles

0

In a world that’s often buzzing with distractions, word games and puzzles stand as oases of quiet concentration and sharpened wits. While once confined to newspapers and board games, these wordy entertainments now weave themselves into our daily digital routines on apps, websites, and even social media. This comprehensive guide dives into the art and science of word puzzles, shedding light on their benefits, the types you might encounter, tips for success, and the best digital platforms to indulge in your love for lexicon.

The Popularity of Word Games and Puzzles: A Quiet Revolution

The casual, accessible nature of word games and puzzles makes them the ideal pastime for individuals of all ages. With their digital migration, they’ve leaped from the back of cereal boxes and the cozy corners of cafes into the palms of millions. This quiet revolution unveils an astonishing truth: the love of language and the thrill of a solved puzzle are universal and enduring.

The Unspoken Benefits of Playing With Words

Beyond the immediate gratification of placing a word correctly or decoding a cryptic clue lies a trove of mental benefits. Word games and puzzles act as gymnasiums for the brain, enhancing cognition, expanding vocabulary, and providing much-needed stress release.

Mental Stimulation and Cognitive Development

Solving word puzzles is more than a leisurely drift through the English language, it’s a full mental workout. Research suggests that regularly engaging in word games can stave off the cognitive decline associated with aging, keeping memory and cognitive abilities sharp.

Vocabulary Expansion and Language Skills Improvement

The act of searching for words, understanding cryptic clues, and unscrambling anagrams does wonders for one’s vocabulary. As we encounter new words in various contexts, we not only learn their meanings but also their connotations, how they’re used, and their place in the ever-evolving tapestry of language. Also, there are anagram solvers you can use online to improve your anagram skills. That way, you’ll be able to recognize common word patterns and find hidden words more quickly.

Stress Relief and Relaxation

When the cacophony of the day grows too loud, a word game can act as a soothing balm. It engages us just enough to release stress and anxiety related to daily worries. Moreover, the act of solving a puzzle triggers a release of dopamine, the brain’s feel-good chemical, leading to a sense of accomplishment and tranquility.

Types of Word Games and Puzzles

Embracing the world of word puzzles is akin to stepping into a vast, esoteric library filled with diverse tomes. Here are a few you’re likely to come across.

Crossword Puzzles

Crossword aficionados relish the challenge of fitting letters into vertical and horizontal boxes, creating a web of interconnecting words. The variety in clues and themes ensures that no two crosswords are ever quite the same.

Word Search Puzzles

These deceptively simple grids of letters hold a list of words waiting to be found. Word searches are excellent for pattern recognition and can be a great starting point for kids in the world of word puzzles.

Anagrams

The simple reordering of letters can transform a familiar word into an unrecognizable mystery. Anagrams are the word puzzles for the insightful rearranger.

Scrabble and Other Word Board Games

Scrabble, Boggle, and Upwords, the classics that pit players against the tile to create words, often strategically placed for maximum points, these games fuel rivalries and friendships in equal measure.

Word Riddles and Brain Teasers

These verbal conundrums push the limits of wordplay and lateral thinking. They can be a source of frustration or the most satisfying ‘a-ha!’ moment when the solution is found.

Tips for Mastering Word Puzzles

Word puzzles are as much about strategy as they are about smarts. Here are some tips to elevate your game.

Start with the Easy Ones

It’s tempting to dive headfirst into the most challenging puzzles, but there’s a lot to be said for building a strong foundation with easy ones first. They help you understand the rules of the game and the way the language and logic of the puzzle work within the given context.

Context Clues and Pattern Recognition

Don’t be a solitary word-hunter! Use the surrounding context and visible patterns within the puzzle to guide your search and reasoning. There’s more to be gained from the puzzle’s construction than meets the eye at first glance.

Use All Available Resources

Don’t be too proud to use a dictionary, app, or even the internet to look up words or find solutions. Many puzzles are crafted with challenging words that might not be part of your everyday vocabulary. There’s no shame in seeking knowledge to unlock the puzzle’s answer.

Divide and Conquer

For larger puzzles, especially those that seem daunting, apply the ‘divide and conquer’ strategy. Tackle smaller sections at a time and build on your progress. The less overwhelmed you feel, the more focused you can be on each piece of the puzzle.

Popular Word Games and Puzzles Apps and Websites

The digital realm has exploded with options for word game enthusiasts. Whether you prefer to play solo or engage with a community, there’s an app or website made just for you. Here are some of the most popular ones:

  1. Words with Friends: A social Scrabble-like game that lets you compete with friends or strangers.

  3. Merriam-Webster: The renowned dictionary publisher offers various word games on its site, along with trustworthy word definitions and resources.
  4. NY Times Crossword: The pinnacle for crossword lovers, featuring daily puzzles of various difficulty levels.
  5. Spelling Bee by the New Yorker: An anagram-based game that challenges players to find as many words as they can using a limited set of letters.

Word games and puzzles are more than mere distractions, they invite us to play, learn, and explore at the margins of language and thought. By incorporating them into our daily routines, we not only partake in the leisure of the highest order but also promote mental fitness and linguistic dexterity. Whether you’re a casual player looking to unwind or a hardcore wordsmith in search of your next challenge, the world of word games and puzzles is as vast as it is rewarding. So next time you have a few minutes to spare, consider letting the wordsmith within reign free. After all, who says exercising the mind can’t be fun?

Vaping Tips for Beginners: How to Get Started

0

Vaping has seen an unprecedented surge in popularity, becoming not just a hobby but a pastime for many. Despite the rapid growth of the vape industry, newcomers can often feel overwhelmed by the sheer variety of devices, e-liquids, and techniques available. Whether you’re just starting out or considering the switch from traditional cigarettes, understanding vaping’s ins and outs is crucial to a successful and satisfying experience.

This comprehensive guide is designed to demystify vaping for beginners, covering everything from the basics to the more nuanced aspects of this burgeoning culture. Take a deep breath, and let’s dive in.

Understanding Vaping: Unveiling the Foggy World

Vaping, the act of inhaling and exhaling vapor produced by an e-cigarette or similar device, brings together a trifecta of components: the battery, atomizer, and e-liquid. The atomizer heats the liquid, transforming it into vapor powered by the battery. From cigalikes that resemble traditional cigarettes to box mod systems complete with custom tanks, the variety of vape devices caters to the diverse needs and preferences of users.

When dipping your toes into vaping, understanding the diversity of devices is key, and here’s how they break down:

The E-Cigarette (Cigalike)

Traditional e-cigarettes, often called cigalikes, are the closest you’ll get to a classic tobacco experience in terms of size, shape, and simplicity. They’re a great starting point for beginners due to their ease of use and maintenance. Typically, these devices consist of a battery and a cartomizer, and sometimes a third component, such as a tank.

Vape Pens

Vape pens are the next level up, offering more power and longer battery life than cigalikes. They also come with a clearomizer or a simple tank that can be filled with your choice of e-liquid. They’re popular among beginners and experienced vapers alike because of their user-friendly design and versatility. Moreover, you can read about Smok vapes, and other similar vapes online to learn more about these devices. That way, you’ll easily navigate the different vape models available.

Box Mods

Box mods are larger, more powerful devices that can provide a customized vaping experience. They often feature displays, buttons to control settings, and the ability to interchange tanks. While they may be intimidating to beginners, they offer greater control over the vaping experience, making them great for those looking to delve deeper into their vape journey.

Choosing the Right Vaping Device: Personalization Is Key

Selecting the right vaping device is as personal as choosing your next smartphone. A few crucial factors to consider include:

Size and Portability

Think about where and when you’re likely to vape. If you’re on the go, a smaller, more discrete device may be preferable, while at home, you might opt for a larger model.

Ease of Use

For beginners, simplicity is crucial. Look for devices that don’t require a steep learning curve and can be operated with minimal effort.

Customization Option

Consider how much control you want over your vaping experience. Some users prefer the simplicity of one-button devices, while others enjoy tinkering with wattage and voltage.

Budget

Vaping devices come at various price points, ranging from budget-friendly options to high-end models. While it can be tempting to start with the cheapest device, investing a bit more upfront can often lead to a better quality product.

Decoding E-Liquids: More Than Just Flavored Water

E-liquids, also commonly referred to as vape juices, come in a myriad of flavors and nicotine concentrations. They typically contain a mixture of propylene glycol (PG), vegetable glycerin (VG), nicotine, and flavorings. Here’s what you need to know:

PG vs. VG

PG offers a stronger throat hit and carries flavor better, making it the dominant choice for many e-liquids. VG, on the other hand, is thicker and sweeter, producing more vapor and providing a smoother hit.

Nicotine Strength

E-liquids come in varying nicotine strengths measured in milligrams per milliliter (mg/mL). To mimic your current nicotine intake, consider these general guidelines:

  • Ultra/Extra High (24mg/mL and above) – Heavy smokers
  • High (12-18mg/mL) – Moderate to heavy smokers
  • Medium (6-11mg/mL) – Light to moderate smokers
  • Low (3-6mg/mL) – Casual smokers
  • Zero (0mg/mL) – Those who have phased out nicotine but still enjoy vaping

The Art of Proper Vaping Technique: Inhale, Exhale, Enjoy

A common mistake beginners make is not understanding the fundamentals of vaping techniques. It’s more than just drawing vapor into your mouth and lungs—it’s about savoring the experience:

Mouth-to-Lung (MTL)

This technique is similar to how many smoke a traditional cigarette. Inhale the vapor into your mouth first, then take a second breath to bring it into your lungs. This method is often preferred by beginners.

Direct Lung (DL)

Commonly used with high-powered devices, DL inhaling requires drawing the vapor directly into your lungs, much like breathing in a breath of fresh air.

Tips for the Perfect Vape

Play around with your inhalation and the different types of devices to find what’s most comfortable. Don’t be afraid to experiment with both MTL and DL methods, as some flavors and devices lend themselves better to one approach over the other.

Maintenance and Safety: Ensuring a Smooth Vape Ride

To get the most out of your vaping experience, regular maintenance and adherence to safety guidelines are crucial:

Device Cleaning

Regular cleaning of tanks and change of coils (depending on the frequency of use) helps maintain the flavor quality and longevity of the device. A gentle wash and thorough dry after disassembling the parts is typically all that’s required.

Battery Safety

Most vaping devices are powered by lithium-ion batteries that need to be handled with care. Always use the charger that comes with your device, avoid overcharging batteries, and never carry loose batteries in your pocket, use a protective case.

The world of vaping is as diverse as the clouds you can dream of exhaling. For beginners, the journey starts with education and exploration. By understanding the components, selecting the right device, embracing safe practices, and enjoying the myriad flavors, you’re well on your way to becoming a confident vaper. Remember, patience and persistence are your allies. So take your time, enjoy the process, and vape on responsibly. Happy vaping!

The Intersection of High-Stakes Gaming and Frontier Technology

Imagine a world where the arcade games of yesteryear have evolved seamlessly into an all-encompassing digital ecosystem. This isn’t a far-fetched dream but the reality of today’s gaming landscape. With the online arena now the main battlefield, whenever gamers feel the urge, their favorite game is merely a click away, no longer are they constrained by coins or lines for their favorite cabinet. The journey of technology within gaming has reached a point where the complexity and depth offer much more than surface-level engagement.

The genesis of modern gaming ecosystems

Not so long ago, the concept of playing with someone on the other side of the globe was a pipe dream. Today, however, the infrastructure sustaining online gaming communities rivals that of small towns. The heart of this transformation is an intricate web of sophisticated game designs, complex narratives, availability of digital crypto payments for gaming, and a social sphere that transcends physical boundaries. Players can even find a comparison of crypto casinos available to find what platforms suits them best and accepts the digital currency they want to use. Similarly, there are sites dedicated to reviewing the latest game releases, so players no longer have to buy a game only to find they hate it.

From the early days of dial-up connections to the lightning-fast speeds of fiber optics, the infrastructure has developed at a breakneck pace, allowing the most intricate of game worlds to be shared and enjoyed worldwide. Cross-platform play has further united gamers across different devices, ensuring that the gaming ecosystems remain vibrant and cohesive. This evolution in gaming where crypto payments are now accepted has been fueled by the proliferation of broadband internet and the rise of mobile technology, enabling software developers to create more sophisticated games.

Game-changing technology that’s rewriting the rules of engagement

Anyone following the gaming sphere can’t help but observe the leaps in graphic fidelity and gameplay. The graphical jumps are now more about lighting and texture, making a virtual world appear eerily real. Moreover, gamers and tech enthusiasts alike revel in the advent of newer, faster peripherals. The quest for near-zero latency wireless mice, responsive mechanical keyboards and chairs that double as control centers epitomizes our enduring quest for immersive play.

Beyond the improvement in hardware, there’s the software – cutting-edge game engines like Unreal and Unity are empowering developers to push the boundaries of what was previously imagined. Over 90% of the world’s leading game developers use either Unreal Engine or Unity to create immersive gaming experiences according to a recent comparison. Cloud gaming, on the other hand, offers a future where download times and hardware limitations become a thing of the past. With cloud gaming, gamers can stream AAA titles directly to their screens as smoothly as watching a high-definition movie. This shift has seen a 50% increase in cloud gaming subscriptions over the past year alone.

The AI revolution in gaming: friend or foe?

Artificial Intelligence (AI), once an ominous term forecasted to foreshadow human irrelevance, now collaborates with developers to create worlds beyond our imagination. Bots have become sophisticated training partners and AI-driven analytics help players and teams strategize for the win. In highly competitive esports tournaments, where every millisecond counts, AI technology can mean the difference between fame and forgotten.

Further into AI, machine learning algorithms are now crafting personalized gaming experiences, analyzing player behavior to tailor in-game events and challenges. Game development itself is getting an AI-enhanced boost with procedural generation techniques that can create vast landscapes and detailed terrains, ensuring unique experiences for every player and giving developers the tools to build worlds that constantly surprise and engage their audiences.

The immersive experience: tech that’s making games feel real

Speaking of immersion, technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are not just complementary aspects – they’re often the main draw. The VR/AR promises of the past are today’s reality, offering gamers firsthand the feeling of stepping into alternate universes. Haptic suits that simulate the feeling of raindrops or the rush of a bullet serve to bridge the gap between the game and the gamer.

As these technologies mature, the boundaries between the physical and virtual worlds continue to blur. Future AR applications may blend with our everyday lives to an extent where digital information and real-world interactions are inseparable. Imagine a future where your morning jog is part of a global fitness game, turning personal health into an interactive quest. The possibilities for more personalized and emotionally compelling experiences are endless as these technologies become more integrated into our lives.

Equipment edge: how tech precision translates to in-game performance

The right equipment can elevate a hobbyist to a competitor and a player to a champion. Refresh rates and response times on cutting-edge monitors are crucial to enthusiasts and professional gamers who study frames like hawks. Customization extends to rigs boasting enviable specifications and RGB lighting that’s more than mere decoration – it synchronizes with in-game events to convey crucial information at a glance. Gaming is no longer just a pastime; it’s a test of technical savviness and adaptation.

The rise of mobile gaming has also challenged the previously held belief that high performance can only come from desktop rigs. Today’s smartphones are not just communication devices but powerful gaming consoles. Advanced cooling technologies, high-refresh-rate displays and touch sampling rates that rival traditional gaming peripherals are making on-the-go gaming just as competitive as their desktop counterparts, further illustrating the pace at which gaming technology is advancing.

Cybersecurity: guarding the digital sanctum

No discussion of tech in gaming would be complete without addressing cybersecurity. Today, the integrity of esports competitions depends on robust measures to prevent cheating and hacks. Behind every thrilling live-streamed event is a team of security experts working tirelessly to thwart the constant threat of DDoS attacks and breaches, safeguarding not just the athletes but also the millions watching from around the world.

Towards a connected future: the confluence of gaming and the internet of things (IoT)

The meshing of the gaming world with the IoT is creating ecosystems around players’ lives. Smart homes double as high-tech gaming stations, weaving cloud-based game saves with real-world security systems. However, this exciting conjunction brings new challenges, especially in the realm of data privacy and security, urging a dialogue on ethics and responsibility.

Gaming technology continues to expand its horizons, but unlike the isolated advancements of other industries, its impact is palpable in the living rooms and lives of millions. From the electric buzz of an esports stadium to the quiet glow of a gamer’s den, technology’s synergy with gaming is evidence of our relentless pursuit of a fully integrated digital world – one where every byte and pixel enriches the human experience.

Steam’s Best And Most-Played Split-Screen Games According To SteamDB

0

Playing alone is still joyful, especially if you are the type of person who likes to explore the worlds in your games without others distracting you, does not like competition, or does not want somebody teaming up with you. But it’s also still fun to play your favorite games with a companion.

Let’s go ahead and end this week right by revealing some of the best and most-played split-screen games on Steam. We’re basing this list here on PVP Live with the list of the most-played split-screen games as presented by SteamDB’s Steam Charts. SteamDB is your ultimate database of everything on Steam.

1. In Rank 1: ‘EA SPORTS FC 24’

Ranking first is none other than “EA SPORTS FC 24.” From EA Sports, together with EA Romania and EA Vancouver, this is an association simulation video game that follows football as its theme.

It is the inaugural and debut installment in the EA Sports FC series, following the FIFA video game series after the partnership of Electronic Arts with FIFA ended with “FIFA 23.”

From the moment you buy the game, things are already exciting. For instance, the cover art for the game’s Standard Edition features Erling Haaland, the talented striker for Manchester City.

“EA SPORTS FC 24” is home to more than 19,000 fully licensed players, more than 700 teams, over 100 stadiums, and over 30 leagues across world football. Indeed, the strength in numbers. Let this game welcome you to the club.

Up next are the rest of the best split-screen games on Steam, based on the list on SteamDB.

2. ‘Stardew Valley’

Can you even believe that “Stardew Valley” has made it as the runner-up on SteamDB’s list of most-played split-screen Steam games? It is interesting because the graphics and visuals of this game are not as realistic as other popular games around. But there must be a reason why it’s one of the most-played.

This farm life simulation game has players taking on the role of a character who has just inherited the dilapidated farm of their grandfather, who just passed away. The farm is in a place known as Stardew Valley. Plant the best crops every season, along with other things you can do. Grow the farm given to you by your beloved granddad.

3. ‘Project Zomboid’

If you are getting bored of the zombies you see in “Resident Evil” – hey, “Resident Evil” is not yet mentioned on this list even – then you can turn to “Project Zomboid.”

Developed by The Indie Stone, a British and Canadian independent developer, this open-world and isometric video game takes place in the post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested exclusion zone of Knox County in Kentucky, but fictional.

Here, players must survive for as long as they can before they die, inevitably.

4. ‘Rocket League’

“Rocket League” is the marriage between soccer and cars. Cars playing soccer? Yes, you got it.

From Psyonix, this game, described as “soccer, but with rocket-powered cars,” is easy to understand. Play it like how you play soccer, but you control cars as your players rather than human beings. Crazy, but real.

This game includes both single-player and multiplayer modes that gamers can play both locally and over the Internet, including cross-platform gameplay between all versions.

5. ‘Brawlhalla’

It sounds like “brouhaha,” but “Brawlhalla” is not even close to the meaning of that word, so don’t worry. Developed by Blue Mammoth Games, this is a free-to-play fighting game that will treat you to numerous game modes. Won’t bore you.

But, in most of its game modes, the goal is to knock your opponent into one of four areas outside the map’s visual boundaries. The map is referred to as blastzones.

This can be done by forcing your opponents into one of the blastzones with an attack. Otherwise, preventing them from coming back to stage and letting gravity force them into the bottom blastzone. It’s a fighting game, so it can be noisy, too.

‘I Won’t Deserve It’: Cody Rhodes Doesn’t Want Publicity In ‘WWE 2K25’ If He Can’t ‘Finish The Story’

0

“WWE 2K24” is still set for launch this March, but “WWE 2K25” is already creating some buzz. “WWE Raw” Cody Rhodes, who is blessed to be the cover of “WWE 2K24 Standard Edition,” recently said he doesn’t want to be the cover for “WWE 2K25” anymore if he cannot “finish the story.”

‘Finish Your Story’

If you are a wrestling fan, particularly “WWE,” it is highly recommended that you expand the horizons of your passion for this sport by playing the WWE game series. Believe us, it’s not yet too late, and you won’t regret it.

Set for release this March 8th, “WWE 2K24” from Visual Concepts and 2K is the 24th installment of the video game series based on “WWE” and the 11th game under the WWE 2K banner. It is the successor to “WWE 2K23.”

As for what you can expect in the game, there are only speculations for now, despite its nearing release. First, there will be new modes and features, such as an exciting new match type.

Second, fans also hope there will be improvements in the MyGM management mode from “WWE 2K23.” There will also be new wrestling superstars, and the game will stay true to the core WWE gaming experience.

What’s official now is that “WWE 2K24” has a slogan that reads, “Finish Your Story.” This is the exact same phrase that Cody Rhodes uses whenever he appears on the ring. In the game, this branding encourages the players to finish their own WWE stories. Cody Rhodes is the official cover image of “WWE 2K24 Standard Edition.”

Cody Rhodes doesn’t want to be bought

Cody Rhodes is, of course, grateful for this opportunity, but with a side comment from him. Apparently, he doesn’t want to be bought for “WWE 2K25” if he doesn’t finish his story. Quite witty.

The wrestler said, “If I haven’t finished the story by ‘WWE 2K25,’ don’t bring me back for the commercial,” said Rhodes. “Don’t put me on the cover, don’t put me anywhere near it. I won’t deserve it. But it’s fun that this is happening in real-time, and we all get to experience it together.”

Along with this statement, he also revealed his future plans.

“I’m looking at ‘WrestleMania 40’ –- in my favorite city to wrestle, right next to Wells Fargo Center, where the fans decided to get behind me at a random Money in the Bank –- wrestling in front of fans from all over the world, that’s a good place to be. It’s going to be special. I’m looking forward to celebrating 40 years of WrestleMania, especially because it’s in Philly.”

You can play “WWE 2K24” on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Due To Author’s Health Issues, ‘My Hero Academia’ Manga’s New Chapter Will Be Delayed

0

The new and upcoming chapter of the “My Hero Academia” manga, Chapter 414, unfortunately, will be delayed regarding its release. Among the reasons: the manga’s author, Kōhei Horikoshi, is experiencing health issues. Here’s the story.

Delayed

With so many Japanese mangas today spanning literally several stories and concepts – name what you’re thinking, and you’ll probably find a manga inspired by it – it takes such a high level of creativity, wisdom, and bold ideas for their creators to produce such impressive literature.

But there are particular moments when your favorite mangas get into some roadblocks, such as what’s currently happening with the upcoming chapter of “My Hero Academia.” Chapter 414 will be delayed, its creators announced recently, due to various reasons.

The first reason is that its author, Horikoshi, is facing some health issues now, further complicating the completion process and leading to a break this week. The “My Hero Academia” manga team has apologized, too.

“Thank you for always supporting ‘My Hero Academia.’ Due to the creator’s sudden illness, this issue of My Hero Academia will be suspended. To all the readers who are looking forward to it, I am sorry,” the team’s letter stated.

The other reason is that the team needed to make necessary corrections for Chapter 414. Due to issues with printing, they could not finish this chapter on time. The team also issued a statement regarding this.

“’My Hero Academia’ is featured in the table of contents in this issue… Due to the printing process, corrections could not be made in time…. Thank you very much for your continued support,” they said.

New release date

However, the new release date has been confirmed. Originally, “My Hero Academia” manga Chapter 141 was slated for publication this Monday, February 12th. However, for the reasons stated above, its release has been pushed to next Sunday, February 18th, at 10:00 Eastern Time.

This popular manga, which has also been adapted to an anime series, is set in a world where “Quirks,” or superpowers, are a common thing. It follows a boy named Izuku Midoriya, who was born without a Quirk but still dreams and aspires to become a great superhero.

Thus, All Might, the world’s greatest hero in the “My Hero Academia” story, scouts him, then bestows his Quirk to Midoriya after learning about his potential. All Might also helps him enroll in a prestigious academy for those yearning to become superheroes.

What anime are you addicted to right now? Is it “One Piece”? Or perhaps it’s “Attack on Titan,” “Jujutsu Kaisen,” “Demon Slayer,” or “Naruto.”

If you are a sports lover, particularly soccer, you might also want to watch an anime titled “Blue Lock.” It isn’t as big as the aforementioned animes, but it definitely checks all the boxes of what makes a good anime.

In this story, you will learn things you probably didn’t know yet about Yoichi Isagi, no other than the star of “Blue Lock.”

Overview Of ‘Blue Lock’

“Blue Lock” is something you’ll definitely love if you are following the thrilling FIFA games.

The story of this anime starts on a sad note. The Japan national team only finished in 16th place in the FIFA World Cup 2018. Actually, that part is based on a true story. But the anime adds a creative flair to it.

In “Blue Lock,” the fiction starts with the Japan Football Union hiring Ego Jinpachi, a football enigma. He has this master plan to lead Japan back to stardom, and he calls this master plan Blue Lock. It is a training regiment designed to create the greatest egotist striker worldwide. Those who fail Blue Lock can never again be allowed to represent Japan in the matches.

Now, Isagi, an initially unknown high school soccer player who is also conflicted about his playing style, decides to join the program to be the world’s best striker.

Fun Trivia About Yoichi Isagi

We have just introduced Isagi to you. This time, let’s get to know him a bit better, starting with the first trivia.

1. Isagi Was Born On April Fools’ Day

Isagi was born on April 1st and is now 17 years old in the anime. He is the only child of Iyo and Issei Isagi (could he be spoiled?). He has slick black hair and mesmerizing blue eyes that match his uniform during matches.

2. Soccer Changed His Outlook In Life

As you learned a while ago, Isagi was unpopular in high school at first. Though he is innocent, friendly, and cheerful, he isn’t confident about himself and what he can do, not to mention being confused with the system of football.

But, when he tasted soccer victory, he transformed from being plain to being confident. Also, his doubts about being selfish regarding the sport slowly disappeared.

3. Then, He Grew To Become Stronger, Even Seeking To Destroy Not Just His Opponents But His Own Teammates

Did soccer change Isagi in a good way or otherwise? Well, you be the judge, significantly since as the story of “Blue Lock” progressed, Isagi became colder and more ruthless. In fact, he does not even hesitate to destroy his opponents, in the worst-case scenario, even his own teammates.

He just became so ambitious, committing to become the world’s number one striker. In the story, you’ll also hear him say he would lead the U-20 Japan team to clinch the World Cup crown.

4. He’s Been Playing Soccer Since Childhood

Cute, isn’t it? Yes. Isagi actually began playing soccer when he was four years old. He has also been admiring world-class soccer athletes. This manifested when Isagi’s mom handed him an invitation letter from the Japan Football Association during the anime’s pilot episode.

5. His Idol Is A Fictitious World-Class Footballer From France

Isagi may have turned to become ruthless, but he still stays humble, evident in his idolizing Noel Noa, a forward from France in the story who plays for Germany’s Bastard Munchen, a team inspired by the real-life FC Bayern Munich from the Bundesliga.

Noa is Isagi’s greatest inspiration. He started watching his matches when the “Blue Lock” star was still a child.

6. Brave As He Is, He’s One Of The First Five Players To Sign Up For The Blue Lock Project

At the beginning of “Blue Lock,” you will see the 300 strikers who gathered to join the Blue Lock project. Now Jinpachi, the coach of this project, caused an uproar when he revealed how Blue Lock would be implemented.

However, Isagi, who was still regretting his decision to pass the ball to his teammate, which led to his team’s defeat, was brave enough to be one of the first five players to join the project.

7. In The Beginning, He Was, In Fact, Ranked 299th Out Of The 300 Participants Of The Project

It is also interesting that, during Isagi’s beginnings with the Blue Lock project, he was ranked 299th out of its 300 participants. But, of course, he rose to the top.

8. He Eventually Earned The Admiration Of Jinpachi

During Jinpachi’s first hands-on over the Blue Lock project, he would initially call its participants (including Isagi) “unpolished gems” or foolish. However, the participants gradually showed what they could, which was why Jinpachi quickly became admirable of Isagi. In fact, later on in the story, Isagi even became an ace for the Blue Lock during the Neo Egoist league.

9. His Main Jersey Number Is 11

For those who treat jersey numbers as significant, Isagi’s main jersey number is 11. This has been his jersey number since the time he was still playing for the varsity football team of Ichinan High School. But he has another jersey number, 15, during the second Blue Block selection.

10. ‘Cyborg Kuro-Chan’ Is Among His Favorite Mangas
