Time and time again, “Assassin’s Creed” has never failed to impress its gamers, especially history buffs. Playing the games in the series, you will be transported to the Golden Age of Piracy in the 17th century, ancient Greece, the world of Anglo-Saxon England, the Industrial Revolution, and North America’s Atlantic Coast during the infamous Seven Years’ War, among other settings.

One of the best games in the franchise is “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey,” which takes you to ancient Greece. Of course, the developers have made the game exciting in such a way that it isn’t smooth sailing for the player all the time. Regardless of whether you choose to control Alexios or Kassandra, the Cult of Kosmos will be a problem for you. In this guide, we tackle how you can track down and defeat this malevolent cult.

The Cult Of Kosmos

The Cult of Kosmos is as bad as it sounds. This villainous group is responsible for breaking apart the family of the game’s protagonist. Revenge? Absolutely.

Lo and behold, you might think of hunting down every single member of this cult to wipe them from the world. But that’s going to be difficult as they don’t particularly make their identities known publicly. More so, they wear fearsome masks to hide their face.

The way to hunt them down is to find clues. Sounds easy? Probably, but right here, we tell you that the process is time-consuming, not to mention how some clues are very tricky to find. The first step is to find Lokris Fort.

Finding Lokris Fort And The Cultist Clue

To locate the Cultist Clue for the Cult of Kosmos’ Peloponnesian League branch, you must travel to Lokris Fort. But here’s the catch. In “Odyssey” and anywhere in its world, there is no Lokris Fort. But don’t go hopeless. So, you must proceed to the Lokris region to find the fort. Once you are there, look for the Xerxes Military Fort, located in the center of the Red Lake Bay area.

To find the Cultist Clue, you have to explore the fort a bit. It is inside a chest, which “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” will mark as a purple-colored chest on the map. To find its location, you must use Ikaros, the golden eagle. It may be purple on the map, but it’s actually gold and red in person. On its lid is the Spartan “lambda.” If you’ve reached the area indicated on the map, you will find the chest in a building nearby the top of the fort. On both sides of the entrance to the building are crossed spears and a Spartan shield.

What To Do With The Cultist Clue

Once you have the Cultist Clue, you can now proceed to the Peloponnesian League branch of the Cultists menu and unravel the member. That member should be a Skylax the Fair, a bearded fellow.

For some context, he received that title due to his generosity. As a matter of fact, the clue to catch him is a note on a donation he once made. He may be evil at first encounter, but he isn’t totally the evilest character in “Assassin’s Creed.” With the information you gained from the Xerxes Military Fort, you can hunt Skylax down, which will cause damage to the Cult of Kosmos. You’re on your way to victory.

But Where Is Skylax The Fair?

Skylax the Fair should not be too far from the Xerxes Military Fort. He is just hiding in plain sight on Euboea Island, located east of Lokris. Please find it in the south areas of the Difri Foothills region. Specifically, this is in the island’s central west portion.

He could be in the Slave Market section of that area, nearby Chalkis City. He may be sitting at a desk in one of the market’s open buildings. But he’s playing hard to get. Surrounding him are high-level guards, which is why the moment you launch an attack against him, things can get really fast before you even know it. Get ready for some serious trouble. Here’s how you can kill Skylax. Killing Skylax is hitting two birds with one stone, as you also get to bring the Cult of Kosmos to their end.
