There is this saying that goes, “All things excellent are as difficult as they are rare.” This was from Baruch Spinoza, a Portuguese-Jewish philosopher from the 17th century. Indeed, this is true, and it applies to when you are collecting rare stones, attending rare occasions, or playing with rare Pokémons.
In the augmented reality Pokémon game, “Pokémon GO,” a creature branded as “Rare” is hard to obtain or catch, unlike the others. Are you curious about the rarest pocket monsters in this video game? So, without further ado, let’s embark on a journey and get to know the rarest Pokémons in “GO.”
1. Keldeo, Zarude, And Hoopa
Don’t feel you are scammed here because the rarest Pokémon in “Pokémon” in “Pokémon GO” is actually three Pokémons, which is what makes them rare. They are Keldeo, Zarude, and Hoopa, Mythical Pokémons you cannot trade in any way in this video game. But you can catch them, of course. However, you must first complete the Special Research Quests before owning these creatures.
2. Archen
Archen may look like the raven assistant of the Evil Queen in “Snow White,” but despite this beauty, Archen is rare because it is hard to find in the wild. Talk about its spawn rates, they are close to none. Its evolved form, Archeops, is even harder to find and obtain since you must have literally several Candies to evolve your Archen to this creature.
3. Unown
Unowns look like doodles, but that’s the way they are. Different Unown variants are easily obtainable in the wild by hatching their Eggs or participating in Raid bouts. However, it is because they are found in several spaces that they are rare. Their spawn rates are still extremely low because there are just too many Unowns out there.
4. 100% Zygarde
Note that it’s not just Zygarde here, but a 100% Zygarde, that’s right. To obtain its 100 percent form, several routes must be completed, which means you must explore trails that other players created. As you move along those Routes, you will encounter some Zygarde cells. Now, you must collect 250 cells to get this rare Pokémon in your hands. Difficult? You can do it.
5. Vivillon
This butterfly-like Pokémon may be beautiful, but don’t let looks fool you, as it is incredibly difficult to catch. But, if you insist on owning this creature, you must spend 125 Candies and perhaps even more, as that count is for each pattern. So, 125 must be multiplied by 18. Whoa. Plus, for every design, you must also pin Postcards received from Gifts your friends send you. That way, you can trigger your encounter with Vivillon.
6. Salazzle
Salazzle is the evolved form of a female Salandit, so you must first hatch a woman Salandit before the evolution happens, of course. But there are more challenges awaiting you. The chance of getting one female Salandit is just 12.5 percent. Little? Yes. So, it requires a lot of patience before you can obtain your Salazzle. Plus, you cannot find a Salandit or Salazzle in the wild. You’ve got to use your brains.
7. Pikachu Libre
Sometimes, Pikachu says “Hola!” or maybe metaphorically speaking. In case you don’t know yet, the mascot of the “Pokémon” franchise has a Hispanic wrestler version, Pikachu Libre. If you think you can get it immediately, Pikachu’s Libre version is a Rare species.
You’ve got first to reach Rank 24 in the Battle League, and attaining this rank is not easy. However, Trainers who can get to this rank in a single session will receive a Pikachu Libre as their reward.
8. Melmetal
The relatively most uncomplicated way to own a Melmetal is to send over Meltan from your “Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu or Eevee.” But that’s also not an easy feat. But once you do, you can get more Candies and find your way from there. Alternatively, you may also make Meltan your buddy to get more Candies, but that takes time. Weigh your options.
9. Volcarona
Volcarona is also a stunningly beautiful Pokémon, but it is rare. Likewise, even if Larvesta is available when you have its 2k, 5k, and 10km eggs, its hatch level is still at Level 5, the hardest. Furthermore, to evolve Larvesta into Volcarona, you must have a whopping 400 Candies, so you must stretch your limbs, and use Rare candies and Buddy Walking to reach this goal. Too much sweat.
10. Galarian Legendary Birds
Then, you have the Galarian Legendary Birds. The sole way to encounter these birds is to utilize the Daily Adventure Incense. This provides you with a 15-minute window each day to find them. This helps, but things are still tricky.
These Birds are rare primarily because they have an unbelievably high flee rate, so even if you are fortunate enough to find one in the wild, so the chances of catching them are slim. Expect to get frustrated, especially when they when they fly away.
11. Gholdengo
Next is Gholdengo. Their appearance already looks like they’re fooling you, and what more if they’re rare. You must have the Golden Lure Module, which you can get by sending Postcards for five days in a row before you can obtain your Gholdengo. However, the Module can provide you with 999 Gimmighoul coins you need to evolve its pre-evolved form to Gholdengo.
12. Frigibax
Since Frigibax has been added to 10km Eggs, whose tier is the fifth rarity, the hatch rate is nearly zero. Also, you must have a whopping 125 Candies if you wish to reach its last evolution, Braxcalibur. So, be sure you have taken your dinner before you play “Go” to get Frigibax because you must keep those eggs cracking.
There you have it. PVP Live has presented 12 of the rarest Pokémons in “Pokémon GO.” If you are not in a hurry or do not wish to play several video games daily, relax and catch some rare Pokémons in “GO.” Experience the thrill of the hunt and the rewards that await you for your hard work.
