This month and the following months after have a lot in store for the hit game Genshin Impact. For instance, miHoYo has recently announced that Genshin Impact will be seeing a new event soon, which will introduce a brand-new traveling merchant to the game.
Not only that, but the game’s Battle Pass will also have a few new missions as well. The event hasn’t started just yet, but fans will be able to obtain all kinds of daily rewards once it does and it will be soon.
Genshin Impact hasn’t even been out for a month yet, so players of this MMORPG haven’t had a lot of opportunities to try out different promos and events just yet. Although, miHoYo gave out free Primogems to players recently.
That being said, developer miHoYo has announced that Genshin Impact will be having an event called “Marvelous Merchandise,” which is set to go live on October 26, 2020, and will end on November 2, 2020.
According to the announcement, the forthcoming event will have a bunch of new missions that will be included in the Travelers’ Battle Passes. One added feature that is quite notable is the inclusion of Liben, a new traveling merchant.
The thing is, it won’t be that easy to meet him. Players first have to track him down with the help of hints. After finding Liben, materials can be given to him in exchange for a Box o’ Marvels, which will have all kinds of rewards for you to claim. These materials can be found throughout the region of Teyvat.
That being said, one important thing you need to keep in mind is that Liben won’t be staying in one place. In other words, he will have a different location every day, so you need to act fast if you want to find him using the provided hints.
Liben will only give you one Box o’ Marvels each day. You can either open the box immediately after receiving it or wait until you have a decent stack to open all of them at once. Either way, you must remember that the Box o’ Marvels will expire as soon as the Marvelous Merchandise event ends.
This means that after November 2, players won’t be able to open the boxes they’ve gathered anymore. That being said, miHoYo has yet to announce what these Box o’ Marvels will contain. Not only that, but the developer also hasn’t revealed what the new traveling merchant will look like.
In any case, players won’t have to wait too long to find out since the event will start at any time now. When the event does start, players will be able to finally meet the newest addition to the game, Liben.
If you’re lucky enough, you might even receive valuable Ascension materials from Liben’s Box o’ Marvels, or even free Primogems so that you can try Wishing for new characters such as the explosive Klee. Speaking of, the new character has been so well-received by fans, so much so that miHoYo broke another record after her release.
