Night in the Woods is genuinely an out-of-this-world, amazing experience. Indie games may be hit or miss, but Night in the Woods is truly an out-of-this-world, phenomenal game. Not only is the plot engaging and full of surprises, but the game setting of Possum Springs is full of hidden gems that you might not have discovered during your first playthrough.
You can also change the game’s ending by making multiple choices. This is what has you coming back to play this game again and again. There are a number of awards to earn in this game, and many of them are easy to overlook. Prepare to commit any crimes, and check out this page for a list of ten awards you will get on your next playthrough.
The Band Practice
Playing the bass as Mae is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the game. You may have noted that the characters respond to her performance in many ways, which is where the desire to succeed is contained. “Bass Ackwards” and “Maestro” are two distinct ones, based on the level of playing standard.
For Maestro, what you have to do is perform all three songs well enough to earn this achievement. Ackwards for Bass? Simply suck and act abysmally. The more mistakes you make, the better. Only keep in mind that playing all of these in Mae’s room will jeopardize your chances of earning these achievements, so it’s better to prevent it.
Hold Onto Anything
This is an effortless and straightforward accomplishment to obtain. What you have to do now is play the game again and beat it. That’s what there is to it. It’s a cool reward that you will get when you’ve completed all of the other milestones in your next game.
It’s worth noting, though, that some players have mentioned that they can only get this achievement by hanging out with Gregg or Bea. Even so, this award takes little additional work, so it’s worth remembering.
Mae The Rat Mother
You will jump up into various parts of the town’s buildings until the power lines are repaired. That is enjoyable in and of itself, but it is enhanced by what you will learn. There’s an open window you can crawl into, and once inside, you’ll discover the rusted remnants of a discarded parade float, complete with starving baby rats.
To get the first achievement, “Mother of Vermin,” get a pretzel from the subway and feed it to them. Continue feeding them for a few days to get the next, “Miracle Rats,” and you’ll soon learn about Possum Springs’ big rat infestation, which you proudly helped to launch.
Crusty
Crusty is the name of the achievement. Given the game’s design, this accomplishment may be anything, but it mostly refers to all of the times pizza is consumed in the plot. You have the power of Mae’s right to pick the slices she likes, but you don’t want to go for the actual pie to get this achievement. No, you’re looking for something a little less saucy and cheesy. Instead, take the crusts that your mates have left behind and eat them. This achievement will be given to you.
The Safe of Teeth
There are a few tasks you would do to obtain the accomplishment “The Tooth.” To begin, try to gain access to the basement. Bottles’ll block it off, and Mae will suggest that you ask Dad to move them. Any night, talk with your father before watching TV with him.
Simultaneously, you’ll want to search the bookcase every day before you have a conversation with numbers. Use certain numbers to open a safe in the basement (after the boxes are moved) and then go to the library to look up the tooth. You’ll eventually give your father the tooth when you see him again, and voila! You’ll be able to brag about your accomplishment.
Jenny’s Field
Mae’s emotional interactions with everyone she loves, including her mum, are one of the game’s highlights. To earn the “Jenny’s Field” achievement, you must see your mother at church every day until it is open to visitors. Mom would recommend that you leave all of the days you go. You’ll want to agree and then move on to the next cut scene. Following that, you’ll be awarded the achievement.
He’s From Somewhere
This is a Germ-only accomplishment. Many people are unaware that you will hang out with him three times in the game, right before hanging out with Bea or Gregg. When you finish this and hit the point in the story where you’re all hanging out at Gregg and Angus’ flat, he’ll begin talking to you just before he leaves. After this, the achievement will be unlocked automatically.
You Killed That Poor Roach
Another easy-to-overlook accomplishment is finding the arm at the start of the game. You’ll see a roach racing across the screen until you start poking the arm with the stick. You should poke the roach instead of the arm, and if you’re quick enough, you’ll be able to kill it. You will get the achievement as a result of this. It is, though, a difficult task. Since the roach is very fast and timed, you will not be able to smash it until the minigame ends.

Deep Hollow Hollerers
Music plays an important role in this game, and as you progress through the plot, you’ll discover why. Many people are unaware of this accomplishment, and it is too possible to overlook it. There are two musicians in Possum Springs, and you must locate each of them to begin working toward this goal. Shortly after Harfest, one is on the roof, and the other is on the hidden stage.
Often speak with the violinist first, and then go to the hidden stage on the third day to see them together. You will get the achievement as a result of this.
