To commemorate Miami Art Week, the music-themed NFT marketplace OneOf will release a series of non-fungible tokens honoring the legendary vocalist. Whitney Houston sold over 200 million records and won numerous honors over her career, including two Emmys and eight Grammys. Houston still holds the record for the most World Music Awards won in a single year, which she set in 1994.

A never-before-heard demo Houston recorded at the age of 17 will be the most expensive piece in the NFT collection. The NFT platform intends to release various collections in the OneOf Iconic series during Miami Art Week.

The NFT release focuses on Houston’s early days of his incredible career. The one-of-a-kind token holding the unreleased demo comes with a digital video created by Diana Sinclair, a renowned 17-year-old visual artist.

Sinclair has developed artwork for the Diamond tier based on the music videos for Houston’s renowned songs I Will Always Love You and The Greatest Love of All, in addition to contributing to the one-of-a-kind NFT. Rare vintage images from Houston’s early career are featured in the Platinum and Gold tiers.

The Gold tier has already sold 300 pieces for $17 USD each at the time of writing. The tier was sold out in under a minute.
