Pokemon 25 The Album Will Feature J Balvin, Post Malone, Katy Perry & More

Katy Perry, J Balvin, and Post Malone will be featured on Pokémon 25: The Album, which will be released later this fall to commemorate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. This isn’t the first time The Pokémon Company has hosted a musical event this year.

A virtual concert for Pokémon enthusiasts all over the world was conducted only a few days ago. It was hosted on Twitch and YouTube as part of the Pokémon Day activities featuring Post Malone singing covers mixed with songs from the series.

The latest album isn’t the only way Nintendo and Game Freak want to keep audiences happy as part of the franchise’s 25th-anniversary celebrations in 2021. A collaboration with the toy manufacturer Re-ment has resulted in a new line of Pokémon figures.

These stained glass versions will be included in a limited edition set for only 990 yen each. Every creature model demonstrates their signature step, such as Ho-Oh, Gardevoir, Umbreon, Lugia, Mew, and of course, Pikachu.

Some of the artists who will be included in the forthcoming Pokémon 25: The Album have been announced by the Pokémon Company. The album is a musical homage to the franchise’s 25th anniversary, and it includes several musicians who have already participated in Pokémon-themed activities this year.

Katy Perry and J Balvin are among them. Post Malone would also be featured on the album, as he did during a special virtual concert a few days ago. The trio will be joined by a special guest, according to IGN, and each musician will perform a song influenced by the series. Music videos and exclusive items will be available along with the tracks, as well as a variety of songs from other artists and musicians. The album will hit the markets by Fall 2021.

Of course, there has been a lot of Pokémon-related news recently as well. Game Freak and ICLA are collaborating on two separate projects, according to a Pokémon Presents stream a few days ago. The first is a remake of the Generation 4 games in the form of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, while the second is Pokémon Legends: Arceus, an open-world RPG influenced by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that will be released in 2022.

The Pokémon franchise has been the subject of a flurry of news reports and updates this week. Nintendo and Game Freak seem to have planned to use Pokémon Day to flood viewers with a barrage of crucial announcements.

Although not all of the announcements were related to new games, viewers are likely to be pleased with The Pokémon Company’s plans to commemorate the series’ 25th anniversary in 2021 and beyond.
