On July 18, the second day of Pokémon GO Fest 2021, Niantic has announced that every Legendary Pokémon will be accessible in raids. While players will not require a GO Fest ticket to participate, they will be required to participate in five-star raids at specified times in order to encounter the Legendaries they want.
The Pokémon GO Fest will begin on July 17th, with $5 in-app purchase tickets available. Google Play is the event’s sponsor. On the first day, there will be changing habitats with Collection Challenges and bonuses in the Global Challenge Arena, among other things.
Players will also be able to choose Pokémon to star in musical production and purchase a limited-edition t-shirt if they reside in the United States or Canada. Collection Challenges and additional Raid Passes are two festival benefits that need a ticket.

Legendary Pokémon will be divided into four blocks, according to Niantic. Mewtwo, Ho-Oh, Latias, Latios, Regigigas, Altered Forme Giratina, Cresselia, Virizion, and Therian Forme Tornadus will all be available during the Wind Hour block, which runs from 10 AM to 11 AM local time and 2 PM to 3 PM.
Moltres, Entei, Regirock, Groudon, Heatran, Reshiram, Terrakion, Therian Forme Landorus, and Yveltal will be available during Lava Hour (11 AM to 2 PM and 3 PM to 4 PM). Articuno, Suicune, Lugia, Regice, Kyogre, Palkia, and Kyurem, as well as Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf, are available during Frost Hour (12 to 1 PM and 4 to 5 PM). Finally, Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, Rayquaza, Dialga, Cobalion, Therian Forme Thundurus, Zekrom, and Xerneas will appear during Thunder Hour (1 to 2 PM and 5 to 6 PM).
There will be no mythical Pokémon in any of the five-star raids. On the other hand, Ticket holders will receive a significant edge, including an additional 10,000 XP for each Raid Battle won, an optional event package containing three Remote Raid Passes, and the chance to acquire up to eight such Passes by completing Timed Research. Spinning Gym Photo Discs can earn you up to 10 Raid Passes. To play raids from home, you’ll need to have a Remote pass.
Niantic has been chastised in recent days for undoing some of Pokémon GO’s pandemic-themed gameplay modifications, which were intended to deter players from congregating and spreading COVID-19.
While vaccinations are helping to contain the illness in England and the United States, other countries are still struggling with fresh outbreaks. Pokémon GO is an augmented reality game that focuses on bringing players out in public, especially because certain in-game places are sponsored.
With a new event focusing on collecting legendary Pokémon, many players will probably return to catching Pokémon. Thus Niantic should be taking precautions to keep gamers safe.
