Where And How To Find The Earthquake TM
TM 149 can be found in the area around the Asado Desert. Near Cascarrafa, you will find a Battle League Representative. As usual, as with other Representatives in Paldea, you must defeat five different trainers in the surrounding vicinities to get the TM as your reward from the Rep.
After obtaining the TM, you can actually craft more of them. But note that you will need the following resources to do this:
- 12,000 LP
- Three Diglett Dirt
- Three Phanpy Tails
- Three Barboarch Slime

Pokémons That Can Learn The Earthquake TM

But the best Pokémons who can teach this move to are Gyarados and Garchomp. These creatures are already strong in themselves, so they can take advantage of the move in various ways.
Gyarados is ideal for Earthquake because of Terastalization. Ground is likely the best Tera Type for this Pokémon as it can transform its double weakness to electric moves to immunity. That’s a substantial defensive power spike, not to mention how it gives the TM a STAB power-up after Terastalizing.
Subsequently, for Garchomp, it can typically run Earthquake as it is already a Ground-type physical attacker. For this Pokémon, Ground is a serviceable Tera Type since it reduces its weakness to just ice attacks and further enhances the TM’s capability.
