Pokemon Sword and Shield is back with another exclusive download code. However, instead of giving out a Pokemon, they are distributing a free rare item.
Starting September 5, players can now enter the download code to claim a free King’s Rock. The exclusive item allows Slowpoke and Poliwhirl to evolve into their stronger forms – Slowking and Politoad. If the item is being held by a Pokemon, the holder has a chance of inflicting the “Flinch” status once it successfully lands an attack.
The event is part of the event for the Pokemon Korea Champion Invitational but the download code works in all servers across the world. Players can only use the special download code once to claim the rare King’s Rock.
The special download code for the exclusive item is K2020CHAMP10NS. Follow these steps in redeeming the item before the promo ends.
How to redeem a code in Pokemon Sword and Shield
In order to redeem a special code, players must:
- Make sure the device is connected to the internet
- Open up the Pokemon Sword and Shield menu
- Select the Mystery Gift Option
- Choose “Get a Mystery Gift”
- Select “Get with Code/Password”
- Enter the special download code
