Ever since Rocket League went free-to-play last year, the vehicular soccer game has been enjoying tremendous success, with thousands of concurrent players each day. Even until today, Psyonix and Epic Games continue to be gifts that keep on giving, as Rocket League continues receiving updates, game modes, and a myriad of new content every time.
Fans have really nurtured their creativity ever since the game’s release, as they decorate their cars in unique and different ways. In fact, Rocket League even lets its players utilize decals that represent different real-world esports teams.
However, there’s one particular vehicle that never gets included in all the fun when it comes to these esports decals, and we don’t really know why. Fortunately, in an upcoming Rocket League update, this will now change.
After the addition of NFL decals in a recent update, it has been confirmed that the game’s February 1 update will finally include Fennec decals for the first time ever in the history of Rocket League. Like the other decals, players will be able to find these in Rocket League’s Esports Shop.
The game’s official Twitter account also shared the good news, along with a short video footage showcasing some of the new Fennec decals, some esports decals, as well as a glimpse at the new and improved Esports Shop.

Asides from the addition of Fennec decals, which many fans have been waiting for, there will be some changes implemented to the revamped Esports Shop. For one thing, the Fennec decals will be available on the in-game shop for 300 Esports Tokens each, and items will no longer be rotated.
This change is great because players will be able to pick and choose the decals that they want to purchase without feeling any pressure. It’s also worth mentioning that Psyonix was definitely keeping notes of the fans’ complaints and feedbacks. For instance, Rocket League’s Neon Fields Arena, which was recently introduced to the game in the most recent season, received a couple of quality of life tweaks.
Thanks to these improvements, fans will be able to change how intense the visual effects of the arena are. They will be able to adjust the flashing effects, pulsing effects, the brightness, and many other visual effects that they want to manipulate to their liking.
This new and exciting update will officially go live on February 1 at 4:00 PM PST, so don’t forget to update as soon as possible to enjoy all these new benefits.
Even though Rocket League has a bunch of different vehicle types that players can choose from, the Fennec was introduced to the game back in 2019 and has since become a favorite among the fans.
After the new Fennec update was announced on Twitter, both fans and esports teams alike were thrilled with the addition of Fennec decals. Some even replied to the announcement with screenshots of the decals they’re most excited about.
Since Rocket League’s initial release, it has been a significant part of both the gaming and esports realms. Without a doubt, this cars-meets-soccer hybrid game has a bright future ahead of it, and we look forward to seeing what else Psyonix and Epic Games have planned for it.
