According to Dictionary.com, “bespoke” is defined as anything custom-made based on the specifications of the person ordering the bespoke product, such as a bespoke suit.
South Korean multinational manufacturing conglomerate Samsung is embodying everything about what being bespoke means in its new catalog of appliances. But they’re adding a twist: making its appliances also sustainable. Here’s the news.
Samsung is launching its newest lineup of home appliances soon, which will be called Samsung’s bespoke appliances.
SmartThings AI Energy
Since Samsung’s SmartThings launched in 2013, it has enabled homeowners to connect, monitor, and control various smart home devices in a quicker and easier way possible. With this, they can connect their Samsung smart TVs, appliances, speakers, and brands, such as Philips Hue, Ring, and Nest, all from a singular app.
This time, Samsung is beefing up its SmartThings. They are soon launching the SmartThings’ AI Energy Mode, a feature in its technologies and products that can help reduce carbon emissions and save energy by up to 70 percent.
SmartThings AI Energy Mode will be launched in 65 more countries very soon.
‘Bringing Calm to Our Connected World’
Last year, the company also unveiled SmartThings Home with six services. This year, it is introducing more advanced features that will follow the theme, “Bringing Calm to Our Connected World.”
This means that all of Samsung’s current Bespoke products can be connected to Wi-Fi and utilized, operated, and maintained just with smartphones or any device that carries the SmartThings app.
Furthermore, Samsung’s Bespoke products are not only purveyors of sustainability but also style. For instance, Samsung’s Bespoke refrigerators allow users to customize their panels, colors, and textures according to their unique preferences.

And the surprises don’t end there. USA Today reported that Samsung’s Bespoke 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Beverage Center is now available at $1,200 off its original price tag.
This fridge features color-swappable panels that can be customized to match your kitchen design concept.
It is also laden with features such as the solid temperature delivery to prevent freezer burn, an ideal temperature to keep food from spoiling, the door-in-door system that lets homeowners reach the beverage center without opening the entire refrigerator, and a flex temperature drawer that can be set such as giving you more freezer room or more fridge space. Fantastic, isn’t it?
But wait, there’s more. The Samsung Bespoke Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Beverage Center is also offered with up to $700 savings!
“The technologies we are showcasing at Bespoke Life 2023 are built on the idea that the simplest but most important step is making a change to how things work in everyday life,” JH Han, Samsung DX’s CEO, wrote in his editorial published on the official Samsung website.
Samsung DX is a division in the company that combines its mobile and consumer electronics businesses into one unit, called DX, short for device experience, banking on its emphasis on user experience.
Han said Samsung would announce more about these products at the Bespoke Life 2023 event this June 7th.
