According to Atlus, Shin Megami Tensei V’s Fall of Man Premium Edition will contain a hardback Demon Hand Book. Shin Megami Tensei V is a Nintendo Switch RPG in which the protagonist is taken into an alternative version of Tokyo and forced to fight demons.
Shin Megami Tensei V begins in modern-day Tokyo, where the protagonist is a high school student. He awakens in a post-apocalyptic Tokyo, where mythological monsters prowl the streets. The protagonist is given the ability to shift into a body capable of fighting the world’s demons and devils.
The player does not require to fight every opponent they encounter, as in previous Shin Megami Tensei games, as it is possible to bargain with wild demons and persuade them to join the group. The player can assemble a powerful team of angels and demons to decide the fate of this new universe.
On November 12, Atlus will release Shin Megami Tensei V on Nintendo Switch, with several editions available. Shin Megami Tensei V: Steelbook Edition will include the basic game as well as a steelbook, which can be pre-ordered through Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. There will be a more costly edition of the game on launch day, as Atlus has unveiled the Fall of Man Premium Edition, which will cost $119.99.
The Fall of Man Premium Edition contains a printed sling bag similar to the one carried by Shin Megami Tensei V’s main character before entering the demon world. The game will be packaged in a steelbook with the same artwork as the Steelbook Edition box. A two-disc soundtrack is also included, as well as a collectible box featuring the protagonist. The Demon Hand Book, a hardback A5 notebook with over a hundred pages, is the most remarkable item in the Fall of Man Premium Edition.
Anyone who has fought the Matador in Nocturne can attest to the difficulty of the Shin Megami Tensei series. The Demon Hand Book is a great tool to record notes while playing the game, especially since there aren’t any instructions to aid players to take on the tougher bosses when the game first releases.
